The core ecosystem functioning(*** transfer efficiency)is at risk of being disrupted by the growing mismatch between nutrient content of primary producers and nutrient demand of grazing *** stoichiometry provides a conceptual framework that explains this trophic interaction using C,N and P elemental composition across trophic *** light of ongoing climate change and eutrophication,previous studies have raised concerns regarding the growing stoichiometric mismatch between phytoplankton and zooplankton,given the stoichiometric plasticity of ***,there is currently little conclusive evidence on the stoichiometric mismatch from a dual perspective of phytoplankton and *** address this,we conducted a mesocosm experiment to investigate the separate and combined effects of climate warming(a constant increase of t3.5C plus heat waves)and eutrophication(nutrient addition)on stoichiometric mismatch between phytoplankton and zooplankton by examining stoichiometric changes in both *** observed a growing trend in stoichiometric mismatches when warming or nutrient addition acted individually,which was mediated by the increase in nutrient demand(N,P elements)of zooplankton ***,when these stressors acted jointly,the mismatches were *** could be because climate warming and eutrophication combined would lead to changes in species composition,which accordingly reshaped the stoichiometric composition at the community *** results illustrate the need of stoichiometric mismatches for understanding the implication of global change on trophic interactions and ecosystem functioning,requiring consideration not only of cross-trophic levels but also of compositional changes within communities.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID‐19)has rapidly swept around the globe since its emergence near ***,people have failed to fully understand its origin or *** as an international biosafety incident,COVID‐19 has again encouraged worldwide attention to reconsider the importance of biosafety due to the adverse impact on personal well‐being and social *** countries have already taken measures to advocate progress in biosafety‐relevant research,aiming to prevent and solve biosafety problems with more advanced techniques and ***,we propose a new concept of biosafety chemistry and reiterate the notion of biosafety materials,which refer to the interdisciplinary integration of biosafety and chemistry or *** attempt to illustrate the exquisite association that chemistry and materials science possess with biosafety‐science,and we hope to provide a pragmatic perspective on approaches to utilize the knowledge of these two subjects to handle specific biosafety issues,such as detection and disinfection of pathogenic microorganisms,personal protective equipment,vaccine adjuvants and specific drugs,etc..In addition,we hope to promote multidisciplinary cooperation to strengthen biosafety research and facilitate the development of biosafety products to defend national security in the future.

Preliminary Screening and Characterization of Microsatellite Markers in RAD-seq Data of Datnioides pulcher

[Objective]The paper was to develop the microsatellite markers of Datnioides pulcher,and to screen polymorphic SSR primers.[Method]*** was performed reduced-representation genome sequencing using RAD-seq(Restriction-site associated DNA sequencing).[Result]A total of 13308806 high-quality clean reads(HQ clean reads)lengths were obtained and 26359 simple sequence repeats(SSR)loci were detected in the obtained sequence by SSR search software,which consisted of 496 repeat *** most common types of repeat were A/T in single base repeat sequence,and AC/GT and A G/GT repeat units in di-base repeat ***/CCT,AGC/CTG and AGG/CCT were the dominant types in tri-base repeat *** quantity,the di-base repeat type SSR loci were the largest(19492),accounting for 73.95%of the total SSR *** for mono-nucleotide type,the repetition frequency of SSR loci was mainly ranged from 4 to 9,and the number of polymorphic SSR loci was *** 20066 pairs of SSR primers were successfully designed with Primer *** success rate of primer design was 76.13%.According to the repetition type and repetition number in the sequencing data,100 di-to penta-base repetition type SSRs were randomly selected and validated by PCR and polyacrylamide gel in six *** samples.A total of 73 pairs of primers were amplified by electrophoresis,and 20 of them were polymorphic.[Conclusion]The developed SSR sequences can be used for genetic analysis,genetic map construction and molecular marker assisted breeding of *** and its related species.
