A number of different cancer chemotherapy agents such as cisplatin,oxaliplatin,and paclitaxel can lead to nerve damage,thereby giving rise to neuropathic pain states that present with mechanical and cold allodynia[1].Although these pain conditions often resolve after completion of the chemotherapy,a significant portion of patients exhibit longlasting pain that can persist longer than 12 months with a negative impact on the quality of life of affected individuals[1].

Diabetic retino.athy(DR)is one of the major causes of visual impairment in adults with *** coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)is no.adays widely used as the golden criterion for diagno.ing ***,wide-field OCTA(WF-OCTA)provided more abundant information including that of the peripheral retinal degenerative changes and it can contribute in accurately diagno.ing *** need for an automatic DR diagno.tic system based on WF-OCTA pictures attracts more and more attention due to the large diabetic population and the prevalence of retino.athy *** this study,automatic diagno.is of DR using vision transformer was performed using WF-OCTA images(12 mm×12 mm single-scan)centered on the fovea as the ***-OCTA images were automatically classified into four classes:no.DR,mild no.proliferative diabetic retino.athy(NPDR),moderate to severe NPDR,and proliferative diabetic retino.athy(PDR).The proposed method for detecting DR on the test set achieves accuracy of 99.55%,sensitivity of 99.49%,and specificity of 99.57%.The accuracy of the method for DR staging reaches up to 99.20%,which has been proven to be higher than that attained by classical convolutional neural network *** show that the automatic diagno.is of DR based on vision transformer and WF-OCTA pictures is more effective for detecting and staging DR.

Splenic infarction(SI)is a rare clinical pheno.eno. that occurs when the blood supply to the spleen is interrupted,resulting in tissue ischemia and necrosis[1].There are many causes of SI;in adult patients,cardioembolism,hematological malignancy,and infectious disease are the most common[2].Rheumatic diseases,especially systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)and granulomatosis with polyangitis,can also lead to SI[3];however,only a few cases have been *** are currently no.statistically meaningful data on the etiology of SI in *** most patients with SI can recover after conservative treatment,a small number of patients develop complications,such as splenic abscess,splenic rupture,splenic hemorrhage,and hemoperitoneum,and may even undergo splenectomy in severe cases.
