the aim of present study is to analyze the influence of volume percentage(vol.%) of nano-sized particles(tiB_2: average size is 35 nm) on microstructure, mechanical and tribological behavior of 6061-t6 Al alloy surface nano composite prepared via Friction stir process(FSP). the microstructure of the fabricated surface nanocomposites is examined using optical microscopy(OM) and scanning electron microscope(SEM) for distribution of tiB_2 nano reinforcement particles, thickness of nano composite layer formed on the Aluminum alloy substrate and fracture features. the depth of surface nano composite layer is measured as 3683.82 m m along the cross section of stir zone of nano composite perpendicular to FSP. It was observed that increase in volume percentage of tiB_2 particles, the microhardness is increased up to132 Hv and it is greater than as-received Al alloy's microhardness(104 Hv). It is also observed that at 4volume percentage higher tensile properties exhibited as compared with the 2 and 8 vol. %. It is found that high wear resistance exhibited at 4 volume percentage as-compared with the 2 and 8 vol. %. the observed wear and mechanical properties are interrelated with microstructure, fractography and worn morphology.

Snow is important in türkiye especially in the mountainous eastern areas where it may stay on the ground for more than half of the *** region plays a vital role in feeding the water resources of the trans-boundary Euphrates-tigris Basin,supporting crucial dams for water supply,irrigation and energy ***,easy,frequent,correct and economical ways of measuring the snowpack is *** snow properties at specific locations in the mountainous eastern regions over the two snow seasons(2018 and 2019)were studied by using different instruments and techniques,snow pit(box/cylinder/wedge cutter types),snow tube(Federal Sampler)and Snotel(Snowpack Analyzer).the results point out a 1.7%-7.1%variation between different cutter type snow density measurements within snow pit analysis and the long-term utilized snow tube observations show a closer relation to box/cylinder type *** for the continuous Snotel observations,a variation of 2.4%-9.8%with various cutter types and a 5.9%difference regarding the snow tube density results are *** findings indicate a close range among different instruments,but it is the best when all three systems complement each other to characterize the snowpack effectively in the complex terrain since each has its own advantages.

These results are suitable both for bounded p_i(t) q_i(t)and r(t).i =1 2.

to protect the sustainability of the benefits from seas and near coastal areas,which have under the effect of the very complex hydrodynamic conditions and intensive human activities,without disrupting the balance of nature,it is necessary to image the status of the seafloor ***,this study presents the deformations,depositional conditions,underwater constructions,and the other non-natural impacts on the seafloor of the nearshore area at western Istanbul(between Küçükçekmece and Büyükçekmece lagoons)where it intensely used by the *** results of the study may provide some guidance for understanding the impacts and risk factors of uses that are or will be conducted in coastal and/or near-coastal *** planning for civil coastal structures and areas should be done in great harmony with nature,minimizing negative environmental *** sediment distribution in the area is generally quite complex,the current state of the region,wave action,hydrodynamic conditions,the amount of material transported from the land,and bathymetry are important influencing *** seafloor has been damaged primarily by anchor deformation and associated bottom scanning,as well as disturbing trawl *** seafloor was observed as partially shallowing near the constructions(such as natural gas pipelines,fishermen’s shelter,and port piles)of coastal areas and associated with sand ***,scanning the seafloor using side-scan sonar may provide valuable frequency data to prevent future disruptions.

the apartment fire tests comprise a set of two full-scale fire experiments in a dwelling building made from pre-fabricated concrete elements in April 2013. two apartments were nearly identically furnished and fully instrumented with thermocouples, video cameras and gas extraction probes. the apartments were ignited successively whereupon the fire in the second apartment developed freely to post-flashover conditions and got the main focus in this report. the apartment was completely furnished with contemporary furniture and objects, and had an average fire load density for residential occupancy. A full description of the fire load, ventilation conditions and instrumentation are provided. the focus of this report is primarily to obtain conclusions on the horizontal spread of smoke throughout the apartment during the fire growth period. Velocities of smoke spreading were measured to be in the range below 0.05 m/s which means that the smoke migrated over the longest distance throughout the apartment for about 3 to 4 minutes while the flame did not leave the initial fire room. the main aim of the experiments was to collect a comprehensive set of data from a realistic and contemporary fire scenario to validate numerical simulations.

Mountainous regions have disadvantages in economic development because of harsh physical and climatic ***,winter tourism activities are one of the key components for supporting economic development in the *** a ski resort area supports direct and indirect employment in a region,and it stops immigration from mountainous regions to other *** research aimed to assess the potential ski areas using a multi criteria evaluation technique in the Van region which is located in the eastern part of tü*** this context,snow cover duration,sun effect,slope,slope length,elevation,population density,distance from main roads and lake visibility were used as input factors in the decision making *** factor was standardized using a fuzzy technique based on existing well-known ski centers in tü*** weight of inputs was defined by applying a survey to the professional *** most important factors were detected as transportation opportunities and snow covers whereas,the least important factors were elevation and population ***,lake visibility was very important to make a difference from other existing facilities in the ***,it was included as constraints and lake visible areas were extracted at the final stage of the *** ski areas were mapped in three levels as professional,intermediate and beginner *** of the suitable areas was selected as a sample projection and for the 3D simulation of the ski investment *** costs and benefits were *** was found that a ski tourism area investment can be amortized in 3 years in the region.

Non-invasive brain current stimulation（NIBS） is a promising and versatile tool for inducing neuroplasticity,protection and functional rehabilitation of damaged neuronal *** is technically simple,requires no surgery,and has significant beneficial ***,there are various technical approaches for NIBS which influence neuronal networks in significantly different *** direct current stimulation（t DCS）,alternating current stimulation（ACS） and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation（r tMS） all have been applied to modulate brain activity in animal experiments under normal and pathological *** clinical trials have shown that t DCS,r tMS and ACS induce significant behavioural effects and can – depending on the parameters chosen – enhance or decrease brain excitability and influence performance and learning as well as rehabilitation and protective *** diverse phaenomena and partially opposing effects of NIBS are not yet fully understood and mechanisms of action need to be explored further in order to select appropriate parameters for a given task,such as current type and strength,timing,distribution of current densities and electrode *** this review,we will discuss the various parameters which need to be considered when designing a NIBS protocol and will put them into context with the envisaged applications in experimental neurobiology and medicine such as vision restoration,motor rehabilitation and cognitive enhancement.
