Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion ***,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its *** improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated ***,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical ***,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO *** effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn *** Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1000 cycles(360.4 mAh·g^(−1)) at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).The high-load Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3||Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 150 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1).This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

Dietary intake and serum levels of copper and zinc and risk of hepatocellular carcinoma:A matched case-control study

Background:Copper and zinc are involved in the development of multiple malignancies;yet,epidemiological evidence on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is *** study aimed to investigate the association between dietary intake and serum levels of copper and zinc with the risk of ***:A total of 434 case-control pairs matched for sex and age(±1 year)were included in this *** with newly diagnosed HCC were from the Guangdong Liver Cancer Cohort(GLCC)study,and healthy controls were from the Guangzhou Nutrition and Health Study(GNHS).A semi-quantitative 79-item food frequency questionnaire(FFQ)was used to assess habitual dietary intakes of copper and *** levels of copper and zinc were measured by using inductively coupled plasma mass *** copper(Cu)/zinc(Zn)ratio was computed by dividing copper levels by zinc *** logistic regression models were performed to calculate the odds ratio(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)for per 1 standard deviation increase(per-SD increase)in copper and zinc ***:Higher dietary intake(OR_(per-SD increase)=0.65,95%CI:0.44,0.96,P_(trend)=0.029)and serum levels of zinc(OR_(per-SD increase)=0.11,95%CI:0.04,0.30,P_(trend)<0.001)were both associated with a lower risk of *** analyses showed that the inverse association was only pronounced in men but not in women(P_(interaction)=0.041 for dietary zinc intake and 0.010 for serum zinc levels).Serum copper levels(OR_(per-SD increase)=2.05,95%CI:1.39,3.03,P_(trend)=0.020)and serum Cu/Zn ratio(OR_(per-SD increase)=6.53,95%CI:2.52,16.92,P_(trend)<0.001)were positively associated with HCC risk,while dietary copper intake and dietary Cu/Zn ratio were not associated with HCC ***:Zinc may be a protective factor for HCC,especially among men,but the effects of copper on HCC risk are not clear.

BACKGROUND Thiopurine-induced leucopenia significantly hinders the wide application of *** optimization guided by nudix hydrolase 15(NUDT15)has significantly reduced the early leucopenia rate,but there are no definitive biomarkers for late risk leucopenia *** To determine the predictive value of early monitoring of DNA-thioguanine(DNATG)or 6-thioguanine nucleotides(6TGN)for late leucopenia under a NUDT15-guided thiopurine dosing strategy in patients with Crohn’s disease(CD).METHODS Blood samples were collected within two months after thiopurine initiation for detection of metabolite *** leucopenia was defined as a leukocyte countsensitivity 83%,specificity 81%),and in NUDT15/TPMT normal metabolizers,the predictive performance of a threshold of 315.72 fmol/μg DNA was much more remarkable with an AUC of 0.902(sensitivity 88%,specificity 85%).6TGN had a relatively poor correlation with late leucopenia whether in the entire sample(P=0.021)or NUDT15/TPMT normal or intermediate metabolizers(P=0.018,P=0.55,respectively).CONCLUSION Proactive therapeutic drug monitoring of DNATG could be an effective strategy to prevent late leucopenia in both NUDT15/TPMT normal and intermediate metabolizers with CD,especially the former.

A significant obstacle impeding the advancement of the time fractional Schrodinger equation lies in the challenge of determining its precise mathematical *** order to address this,we undertake an exploration of the time fractional Schrodinger equation within the context of a non-Markovian *** leveraging a two-level atom as an illustrative case,we find that the choice to raise i to the order of the time derivative is *** contrast to the conventional approach used to depict the dynamic evolution of quantum states in a non-Markovian environment,the time fractional Schrodinger equation,when devoid of fractional-order operations on the imaginary unit i,emerges as a more intuitively comprehensible framework in physics and offers greater simplicity in computational ***,we also prove that it is meaningless to study the memory of time fractional Schrodinger equation with time derivative 1<α≤*** should be noted that we have not yet constructed an open system that can be fully described by the time fractional Schrodinger *** will be the focus of future *** study might provide a new perspective on the role of time fractional Schrodinger equation.

Induction of beige fat for thermogenesis is a potential therapy to improve homeostasis against obesity.β3-adrenoceptor(β3-AR),a type of G protein-coupled receptor(GPCR),is believed to mediate the thermogenesis of brown fat in ***,β3-AR has low expression in human adipose tissue,precluding its activation as a standalone clinical *** study aimed at identifying a potential GPCR target to induce beige *** found that chemerin chemokine-like receptor 1(CMKLR1),one of the novel GPCRs,mediated the development of beige fat via its two ligands,chemerin and resolvin E1(RvE1).The RvE1 levels were decreased in the obese mice,and RvE1 treatment led to a substantial improvement in obese features and augmented beige fat ***,despite sharing the same receptor as RvE1,the chemerin levels were increased in obesogenic conditions,and chemerin treatment led to an augmented obese phenotype and a decline of beige fat ***,RvE1 and chemerin induced or restrained the development of beige fat,respectively,via the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1(mTORC1)signaling *** further showed that RvE1 and chemerin regulated mTORC1 signaling differentially by forming hydrogen bonds with different binding sites of *** conclusion,our study showed that RvE1 and chemerin affected metabolic homeostasis differentially,suggesting that selectively modulating CMKLR1 may be a potential therapeutic target for restoring metabolic homeostasis.
