A Scheme of Fragile Watermarking Based on SVD and 2D Chaotic Mapping

This paper proposed a novel fragile watermarking scheme based on singular value decomposition (SVD) and 2D chaotic mapping. It obtains chaotic initial values from the image blocks singular value decomposition and the user’s key, then uses the chaotic mapping to get the chaotic sequence and inserts the sequence into the LSBs of the image blocks to get the watermarked image blocks. The paper reconstructed the watermarked image from all the embedded blocks. The analysis and experimental results show that the scheme is pretty fragile to tampering, and it can localize the tampering position accurately, reach 3×3 blocks.

An experimental study of the drying characteristics of an agitated fluidized bed dryer is presented and discussed. In the study, the citric acid particles were used as bed material with the diameters ranging from 0.2 mm to 1.3 mm. The variables affecting apparently the drying rate were found to be the mass flow rate, the inlet air temperature, the rotary speed of agitating mechanism and the particles feed rate. Comparing with other variables considered, mass flow rate was found to have the least important influence on the drying rate. The agitated fluidized bed dryer is suitable to drying agglomerating or sticky materials.

BACKGROUND: Despite the rapid development of pediatric intensive care medicine, there are still limited data in the literature regarding the follow-up of pediatric trauma patients in pediatric intensive care units(PICUs). In this study, we aim to evaluate our experience with children admitted and followed up with the diagnosis of trauma at our ***: We evaluated the retrospective data of 77 pediatric trauma patients who were admitted to the PICU at Sancaktepe Sehit prof. Dr. IlhanVarank Training and Research Hospital from August 2020 to December 2022. The demographic data, clinical parameters and laboratory results were recorded. The primary outcome was the mortality in PICU. The performances of markers in predicting mortality were evaluated with receiver operating characteristic(ROC) ***: The median age of the patients was 70(33–157) months, and the median duration of hospitalization in the PICU was 6(2–11) d. Of the 77 patients, 9 died due to trauma(11,1%). Among the clinical parameters, Pediatric Risk of Mortality III(PRISM III) Score, inotrope requirement, extracorporeal treatment requirement, and mechanical ventilator requirement were significantly higher in non-survivors than in survivors. Among the laboratory parameters, procalcitonin(PCT), lactate/albumin ratio(LAR), neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR), and transfusion requirement were significantly higher in non-survivors than in ***: In pediatric trauma patients, baseline PCT, LAR, and NLR values can be used to identify patients at risk for mortality.

BACKGROUND The management of tongue carcinoma is excision and radical neck dissection followed with *** is a case report of a patient with tongue squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)who underwent the procedure with sternocleidomastoid(SCM)flap *** SUMMARY A 52-year-old woman without smoking history complained tongue ulcer since 3 years *** on the histopathological examination,the patient was diagnosed with T2N2M0 right tongue SCC and underwent wide excision of tumor;right mandibular;neck dissection and were reconstructed with SCM *** SCC of the tongue requires wide excision and dissection of the neck and mandible if infiltration into the surrounding lymph nodes has been *** SCM flap reconstruction could be used post-surgery.

According to ASTM Designation DXXXX Standard Test Method for Determination of Cooling Characteristics of Quenchants by Cooling Curve Analysis with Agitation (Drayton Unit), a test unit was designed using which the cooling characteristics of a quenchant at different flow rates and different temperatures can be determined. We discussed the effects of flow rate and temperature on cooling characteristics of fast speed quenching oil. The results show that this unit can be well used for determining cooling characteristics of quechants at different flow rates and different temperatures. At the same time our investigation can provide a reference to the establishment of a standard for determination of cooling characteristics of quenchants with agitation.

High reinforcement-content aluminum matrix composite,with a high thermal conductivity,the adjustable coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE),low density and costs,have been extensively applied in electronic *** Sip/Al composites were fabricated by squeeze casting *** microstructure observation showed that the composites were dense and macroscopically homogeneous,with no micro-holes and obvious *** linear CTEs of Sip/Al composites lay between(7.6～8.1)×10^-6 ℃^-1,and the thermal conductivity was larger than 100 W/(m·℃).The composites also had lower density(2.4 g/cm^3),higher special strength and special *** electroless nickel method was used to deposit a continuous and uniform layer on the composites surface,which can meet the reliability testing demands of the diodes with Sip/Al composite baseplate.
