It is highly attractive but still remains a great challenge to develop an efficient electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution reaction under nearly neutral conditions. In this work, we report the transformation of Ni3S2 nanowire array on nickel foam into the amorphous nickel carbonate nanowire array on nickel foam （NiCO3/NF）. The resulting NiCO3/NF shows high electrocatalytic activity towards water oxidation and affords current density of 50 mA. cm-2 at overpotential of 395 mV in 1.0 mol·L^-1 KHCO3. Moreover, this NiCO3/NF is also durable with a long-term electrochemical durability of 60 h. This catalyst electrode achieves a high turnover frequency of 0.21 mol O2·s^-1 at the overpotential of 500 mV.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of rhPTH(1-34) vs.elcatonin.Methods:Sixty palients with primary OP were randomly divided into two groups according to the ratio of 3:1.rhPTH(1-34) group(PTH group) was treated with subcutaneous injection of rhPTH(1-34) 20 μg daily for 18 months,and the elcalonin group(CT group) was treated with intramuscular injection of elcatonin 20 U weekly for 12 months.Bone mineral density(BMD) of the lumbar spine 2-4(L_(2-4))and femoral neck,serum calcium and phosphorus,urinary calcium,serum hone specific alkaline phosphatase(BSAP).and urinary c-terminal telopeptides of type Ⅰ collagen/creatinine(uCTX-Ⅰ /Cn were tested at baseline,and 6.***.and 18 months after treatment.Results:In PTH group.HMD of L_(2-4),at 6,12.and 18 months,BDM of Femoral neck at 18 month,BSAP at 6 and 12 months and uCTX- Ⅰ /Cr at 6.12 and 18 months were all significantly raised.In CT group.HMD of L_(2-4) at12 month and that of femoral neck at 12 and 18 months were significantly elevated,while HSAP was significantly decreased at 12 and 18 months,and no significant difference on CTX- Ⅰ /Cr was observed.When BMD growth and growth rate between two groups were compared.PTH group had better improvement in L_(2-4) BMD and growth rate than CT group at 6.***.and 18 months.BMD growth and growth rale of femoral neck al 12 month and its growth at 18 month in CT group were higher than in PTH group,hut there was no significant difference between two groups regarding the growth rates at 18 month.Besides,there were no significant differences regarding the rales ol adverse reactions between two groups.Conclusions:rhPTH(1—34),is safe and effective in the treatment of primary OP.It is superior to elcatonin in improving vertebral HMD at onset time,growth rate and growth range,but inferior to elcatonin at HMD of femoral neck.

A new quaternary ammonium salt monomer was synthesized and a quaternary amination of lignin（ noted as QL）, with the monomer was carried out by grafting copolymerization. The products were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy（ FTIR）. The experimental results indicate that the yield of the monomer was 99.06%, and the conversion of the monomer and the grafting yield of QL were 93.69% and 185.78%, respectively. The feasibility of QL as the flocculant to be applied in color removal of five artificial dyes, erioehrome black T（dye A）, gongo red（dye B ）, direct fast black G （dye C ）, cuprofix blue green B （dye D ）, and acid black ATT （dye E ） was examined. Results show that ol exhihits the favorable flocculation nerformance and high stability.

Applying the fluorescent carbon dots as smart materials in anticancer therapy is of great interest.However,carbon dots for multimodal synergistic anticancer therapy,especially for the triple modality,is rarely reported.Herein,we successfully synthesized OCDs by citric acid and(1R,2S)-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethan-1-ol,which show aggregation-induced emission property and two-photon fluorescence imaging.Meanwhile,OCDs are ideal photosensitizers for photothermal therapy under 808 nm and TypeⅠphotodynamic therapy with white light.Hydroxyl radicals,generated by TypeⅠphotodynamic therapy based on OCDs can transform protumoral M2 macrophages into antitumoral M1 macrophages,which exhibited immunotherapy ability.The synergism trimodal of OCDs results in potent anticancer efficacy,showing great potential in cancer therapy.

The optical limiting performances of few-layer transitional metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) nanosheets in the VB group(VS_(2),VSe_(2),NbS_(2),NbSe_(2),TaS_(2),and TaSe_(2)) were systematically investigated for the first time,to the best of our knowledge.It was found that these TMDs nanosheets showed a normalized transmittance in the range of 20%–40%at the input energy of 1.28 GW/cm^(2).Ultralow initial threshold F_(S)(0.05–0.10 J/cm^(2)) and optical limiting threshold F_(ol)(0.82–2.23 J/cm^(2)) were achieved in the TMDs nanosheets,which surpassed most of the optical limiting materials.This work showed the potential of TMDs beyond MoS_(2)in optical limiting field.

Objective:To compare the eflect of zoledronic acid in treatment and prevention of osteoporosis with placebo.Methods:Random control trials regarding zoleilroiiic acid in treatment of osteoporosis were retrieved by selecting Medline.EMbase and Pubmed databases till April 2012. The RevMan software was used for all of the statistical analysis.Results:A total of 9 trials were included in this meta-analysis.The pooled effect shewed that zoledronic acid could increase the bone mineral density by 2.98 times compared with placebo,and reduce the rate of fracture in patients by 32%.The results should the zoledronic acid intervention had significantly less serious adverse events than controls,and the odds ratio was 0.81(0.76-0.87).The longer term intervention, more than 12 months intervention,could gain a better prevention effect for osteoporosis(OR,95% CI for RMD was 3.***.2.77-3.92:for fracture was 0.***.0.54-0.82).Conclusions:This present study shows that zoledronic acid could be effective approach in the prevention of osteoporosis,and could increase the bone mineral density and reduce the risk ol facture.

自修复材料具有优异的使用安全性、更长的寿命、节能和对环境更低的影响等优势,因此受到研究者高度关注.超分子相互作用以其优异的可逆性和对环境刺激的快速响应性,在自修复材料中得到广泛应用.但如何通过合理的分子结构设计获得兼具优异机械性能和自修复能力的高分子材料仍是研究者面临的巨大挑战.本文通过将脲基嘧啶酮(UPy)基团引入到聚丙二醇(PPG)链段中,并精确调控其微相结构,得到了一种强韧的可自修复聚氨酯弹性体PPG-mUPy.聚合物链段中的UPy基团通过二聚形成四重氢键,不仅可以诱导相分离从而形成软硬段结构,还可通过π-π堆积相互作用,在环境温度下形成稳定的微晶,进一步提高聚氨酯材料的机械强度.此外,柔性PPG链段上氨基甲酸酯基团之间存在的弱氢键,赋予了材料超韧特性.通过温度调控启动微晶熔融,释放UPy的可逆特性,赋予材料优异的自修复性能.通过调控PPG链段长度、各组分含量及微观形态,得到综合性能最优样品PPG1000-mUPy50%,其拉伸强度可达20.62 MPa,强度修复效率可达93%.该方法为开发高强高韧自修复高分子材料提供了新的思路.

A novel type of molecular tweezers with different chiral center and cleft has been designed and prepared by using α- hyodeoxycholic acid as spacer and D/L-amino acid methyl ester as chiral arm attached at 3-position. Their structures were elucidated by ^1H NMR, FTIR and elemental analysis. Their recognition properties for various D/L-amino acid methyl esters were also investigated. The preliminary results indicated that these chiral single-armed molecular tweezers exhibited good recognition ability for D/L-amino acid methyl esters with high association constant （up to 5.24 × 10^3 L mol^-1）.

olfaction is primarily mediated by highly specified olfactory receptors （ORs）. Here, we cloned and identified an olfactory receptor, named SlituOR1 （Genbank no. JN835269）, from Spodoptera litura and found evidence that it is a candidate pheromone receptor. It exhibited male-biased expression in the antennae, where it was localized at the base of sensilla trichoidea, the antennal sensilla mainly responsive to pheromones in moths. Conserved orthologues of this receptor, found among known pheromone receptors within the Lepidoptera, and SlituOR1 were placed among a clade of candidate pheromone re- ceptors in a phylogeny tree of insect OR gene sequences. SlituOR1 showed differential expression in S. litura populations attracted to traps baited with different ratios of the two sex pheromone components （9Z,11E）-tetradecadienyl acetate （Z9E11-14：OAc） and （9Z,12E）-tetradecadienyl acetate （Z9E12-14：OAc）. Knocking down of SlituOR1 by RNA interference reduced the electroantennogram （EAG） response to Z9E11-14：OAc, and this result is consistent with the field trapping experiment. We infer that variation in transcrip- tion levels of olfactory receptors may modulate sex pheromone perception in male moths and could provide some of the flexibility required to maintain the functionality of com- munication with females when a population is adapting to a new niche and reproductive isolation becomes an advantage.
