Tuning of fuzzy PID controller for Smith predictor

An analytical tuning method was proposed for fuzzy PID controller used in Smith predictor in order to extend its application and improve its robustness. The fuzzy PID controller was expressed as a sliding mode control. Based on Lyapunov theory, Smith predictor was analyzed in time domain. The parameters of the fuzzy PID controller can be obtained using traditional linear control theory and sliding mode control theory. The simulation experiments were implemented. The simulation results show that the control performance, robustness and stability of the fuzzy PID controller are better than those of the PID controller in Smith predictor.

Predicting and modeling of items popularity on web 2.0 have attracted great attention of many scholars. From the perspective of information competition, we propose a probabilistic model using the branching process to characterize the process in which micro-blogging gains its popularity. The model is analytically tractable and can reproduce several characteristics of empirical micro-blogging data on Sina micro-blog, the most popular micro- blogging system in China. We find that the information competition on micro-blog network leads to the decay of information popularity obeying power law distribution with exponent about 1.5, and the value is similar to the exponent of degree distribution of micro-blog network. Furthermore, the mean popularity is decided by the probability of innovating a new message. Our work presents evidence supporting the idea that two distinct factors affect information popularity： information competition and social network structure.

China's public rental policy creates opportunities for poor households to rent apartments at low rental *** addition to such an impact,we argue that public rental housing increases the purchasing power of the poor and therefore enhances the income elasticity of consumption,i.e.,the percentage of consumption increment due to a 1 percent increase in *** on a nationwide dataset from China,the Chinese Household Income Project 2018,we find that public rental housing significantly increases the marginal impact of household disposable income on ***,our analysis suggests that public rental apartments could increase the income elasticity of consumption demand by 18 percent among all rental households and by 24 percent among rental households with below-average *** also find that the effect of public rental housing on income elasticity of consumption is stronger for service consumption than for nonservice *** results suggest that a well designed public rental policy could not only promote consumption in favor of the service industry but also alleviate the undesirable consequences of the unbalanced consumption structure caused by income inequality.

Due to a number of factors outlined in this article,the issue of population growth is excluded from the sustainability *** this article,we explore some of the ethical presumptions that underlie the issues linking population growth and *** argue that action to address population creates social and economic segregation,and portray overpopulation concerns as being "anti-poor," "anti-developing country," or even "antihuman." Yet,de-linking demographic factors from sustainability concerns ignores significant global realities and trends,such as the ecological limits of the Earth,the welfare and long-term livelihood of the most vulnerable groups,future prospects of humanity,as well as the ecosystems that support society.

Blockchain is a ground-breaking technology that is transforming supply chain *** study aims to empirically investigate the impacts of blockchain technology on consumer *** conduct this research in collaboration with a Chinese e-commerce company that has introduced a blockchain platform for *** use a multimethod design by combining natural experiment-and case study ***,we collected data from four industries(*** powder,seafood,alcohol and nutrition)to conduct the experiment,and the findings reveal that the firms that adopted the blockchain tracing system have an increase in product sales and a decrease in product returns compared to those that did ***,we conducted a multiple case study with four cases from the four *** findings reveal that the adoption of a blockchain tracing system improves supply chain transparency and process management,which then enhances consumer service and *** study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence that adopting blockchain technology can improve firms’marketing *** findings also reveal how the adoption of blockchain technology affects consumer behavior.

A Multi-Scale Method for PM2.5 Forecasting with Multi-Source Big Data

In the age of big data,the Internet big data can finely reflect public attention to air pollution,which greatly impact ambient PM2.5 concentrations;however,it has not been applied to PM2.5 prediction ***,this study introduces such informative Internet big data as an effective predictor for PM2.5,in addition to other big *** capture the multi-scale relationship between PM2.5 concentrations and multi-source big data,a novel multi-source big data and multi-scale forecasting methodology is proposed for *** major steps are taken:1)Multi-source big data process,to collect big data from different sources(e.g.,devices and Internet)and extract the hidden predictive features;2)Multi-scale analysis,to address the non-uniformity and nonalignment of timescales by withdrawing the scale-aligned modes hidden in multi-source data;3)PM2.5 prediction,entailing individual prediction at each timescale and ensemble prediction for the final *** empirical study focuses on the top highly-polluted cities and shows that the proposed multi-source big data and multi-scale forecasting method outperforms its original forms(with neither big data nor multi-scale analysis),semi-extended variants(with big data and without multi-scale analysis)and similar counterparts(with big data but from a single source and multi-scale analysis)in accuracy.
