The Comedy is another of Chen Yan's masterpieces of realism after The Backstage Clan and The *** difference is that the portrayal of he Jiabei in The Comedy echoes the theoretical idea of"typical characters under typical circumstances."Through studies on Chen Yan's writing in a tensive theoretical space of"typicality,"we find that he has applied several important"typical"theories to his *** Jiabei,as a"typical character under typical circumstances"no longer embodies the ideal value as did Yi Qin'e in The *** function of this character regardsthe communication between individuals and thetimes,phenomenon and essence."Typical characters under typical circumstances"is a theory generated from an analysis of realism inseparable from the"totality"of the times and *** focus of The Comedy,a novel based on this theory,has also shifted from creating characters with distinct traits toexploring the historical essence of theera of"comedy."

In her latest novel,the Stories of Harbin(Yanhuo Manjuan),Chi Zijian strives to portray an urban life imprinted with her personal *** order to effectively connect the various aspects of urban life and showcase its liveliness,she creates three special elements of narrative devices:A volunteer ambulance,Yuying Courtyard,and a sparrow hawk"Little Harrier."These elements are beyond ordinary things as they assume the narrative ethical functions of providing possibilities for the unfolding of storylines,summarizing general urban life experiences and uniting a community of common *** depicts the architecture,culture and geography,as well as the residents'daily life,hardships and destiny within the *** addition,from outside the city,she shapes the image of Huang E,a unique child of nature,which not only enriches the character categories of chinese contemporary literature,but also provides spiritual enlightenment to resolving the plight of urban *** urban writing of Chi carries forward the spiritual guidance and the modern introspective consciousness embedded in her previous writing and blazes a new trail for urban writing in chinese contemporary literature.

Since modern Singapore was founded in 1819,different generations of chinese immigrants have come to live *** intellectuals among them established literary societies and composed classical chinese *** generations of poets wrote about Singapore in different *** poets wrote about Nanyang(a chinese word referring to Southeast Asia in general,and Malaya and Singapore in particular)as a foreign land;their poetry reflected a strong sense of *** contrast,the naturalized first-generation and localized poets considered Nanyang their native land;their poetry focused more on Singaporean stories and *** chinese poetry by chinese immigrants in Singapore,thus,has its own characteristics even as it draws on the essence of chinese cultural tradition.

The Three-Body Problem, written by Liu Cixin, won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Novel, with over 200,000 copies in English already sold. This gure is hundreds of times the average sales volume of chinese novels in the USA. Through qualitative and quantitative analyses of overseas readers' comments on The Three-Body Problem posted on the online platforms of Goodreads and Amazon, this paper concludes that the novel's success overseas lies in its catering to the concerns of overseas readers. The ThreeBody Problem is popular among overseas readership thanks to its re ection on the ultimate existence of mankind, science ction vision & imagination, literary familiarity & identi cation, ideological di erence-triggered cultural curiosity, and a good translation. This paper attempts to interpret Liu Cixin's work on the map of world literature from the perspective of overseas readers' preferences to provide references for contemporary chinese science ction creation and overseas reception.

Prediction of Academic Performance of Students in Online Live Classroom Interactions-An Analysis Using Natural language Processing and Deep Learning Methods

Prior studies have shown the importance of classroom dialogue in academic performance,through which knowledge construction and social interaction among students take ***,most of them were based on small scale or qualitative data,and few has explored the availability and potential of big data collected from online *** address this issue,this paper analyzes dialogues in live classrooms of a large online learning platform in China based on natural language processing *** features of interactive types and emotional expression are extracted from classroom *** then develop neural network models based on these features to predict high-and low-academic performing students,and employ interpretable AI(artificial intelligence)techniques to determine the most important predictors in the prediction *** both STEM(science,technology,engineering,mathematics)and non-STEM courses,it is found that high-performing students consistently exhibit more positive emotion,cognition and off-topic dialogues in all stages of the lesson than low-performing ***,while the metacognitive dialogue illustrates its importance in non-STEM courses,this effect cannot be found in STEM *** high-performing students in non-STEM courses show negative emotion in the last stage of lessons,STEM students show positive emotion.

Public administration slogans include oral and written slogans which made by governments at all levels according to the policy or administration under the propagation tasks. T he purpose is to enhance propaganda effects by repeating the same concepts and objectives. While the democratic awareness in public discourses is keep growing,there are some surveys on the quality of public administration slogans. In order to improve the quality of public administration slogans,governments in Anhui Province should organize professionals and pay closely attention to the guidance of policy before they sort,edit,produce and release public administration slogans.

The Modern Approach to "Xungu Leads to(Confucian) Yili"

The proposition that "xungu tong yili"(an exegetical tradition leading to Confucian teachings) expresses the core idea of traditional chinese philology, which threads throughout the Han and Song dynasties and reached its historical acme in the form of the Qian-Jia school. The overemphasis of scholars from this school on exegesis led to the division between Hanxue(Qing scholarship in the Han dynasty tradition) and Songxue(Qing scholarship in the Song dynasty tradition) and a disconnection between "xungu(chinese exegetical tradition exegesis) and yili(Confucian teachings)." The modern "linguistized"shift has seen the slow death of the xunguxue tradition(the theory and practice of xungu as a discipline), under which "xungu tong yili." At the same time, modern xunguxue has clarified its own disciplinary orientation and has made great progress in both theory and practice,laying a reliable foundation for the renewed process of working out meanings through *** heights of modern xunguxue allow the scholarly development of the meanings behind the classic texts in five respects: semantic verification, context representation, validation of themes, history of xungu interpretation, and pursuit of imagery. In the cross-disciplinary collision centered on chinese hermeneutics, the modern approach to the proposition that "xungu tong yili" has shown abundant vitality.
