Medication reconciliation is priority in safety. Between 54% and 67% of hospitalized patients have at least one unintended discrepancies (UDs) between pharmacological treatment of a hospital inpatient and treatment that they were previously taking at home. Quasi-experimental pre-post study performed. The objective is to assess the impact of an intervention aimed at decreasing UDs between medication prescribed on admission and patient’s regular treatment. Patients who were hospitalised for more than 24 hours and were undergoing treatment prior to admission which involved taking three or more medicines were included. The number of patients included was 331 and 3781 medicines were reconciled. The incidence of UDs decreased significantly from 7.24% to 4.18%. Omission was the most common UD, with a significant decrease from 5.8% to 3.4%. Respect to clinical impact, we observed that error type C (error reached patient without causing harm) predominates, how- ever, experienced a statistically significant decrease from 5.3% to 2.4%.

In patients with severe psoriasis that at the same time have multiple comorbidities and chronic infections, is difficult to establish safer and more effective therapy. There are contradictions between the indications of the international protocols of systemic treatments, and the most recent publications which show that anti-TNFα agents could be safe therapeutic options in patients with chronic hepatitis. In the case of chronic viral infections, specifically hepatitis B, there are several conflicts in reference to the biological treatments that can block tumoral necrosis factor-α (TNFα) because there is evidence of a risk of reactivation of hepatitis. Most viral reactivations with the administration of an anti-TNFα agent have been reported in patients with inflammatory diseases. However, there are a few cases described in psoriasis. We’ll present the first case reported in literature of hepatisis B viral (HBV) reactivation in a patient with severe psoriasis secondary to the administration of adalimumab.

Overweight and obesity have now reached historical, maximal peak values, with nearly one-third of world population suffering from these conditions. We are now witnessing the impact of this epidemic upon the global health status, with non-communicable diseases on the rise. We have also witnessed the shortcomings and failures of past actions taken when obesity is already present. In this essay the author reviews efforts made in the past regarding identification and treatment of obesity, and propose that actions should be taken before the onset of this disease, by motivating people to make intelligent, healthy choices when it comes to food and physical activity. A philosophy for healthy living should become central to the intervention actions, for them to be successful and sustained. Prevention of obesity should involve all those concerned irregardless of their position in society and curricular training, in order to create a multi-lateral, multi-national effort that will protect our families and our children from the consequences of this epidemic.

The formation of personality comes from people’s choices and pursuit of self-realization,which is influenced by objective factors but not determined by them,so personality does not belong to the domain of *** concept of general personality rights in the German Constitution was initially premised on the objective determinability in the field of personality,but in constitutional jurisprudence,it gradually shifted to something with individual autonomy as the core and personal self-realization as the goal,and the scope of relevant rights expanded accordingly,so that they could not be clearly distinguished from general freedom of action and thus became the general principle of constitutional *** protection of constitutional personality rights in the United States and Japan can also confirm this process,providing evidence for the constitutional nature of personality *** research shows that constitutional personality rights actually manifest the highest value of modern constitutions—human *** contrast,the theoretical justification of personality rights in civil law just lies in the objectivity and defensive nature of personality elements.
