The administration time is a critical but long-neglected point in cell therapy based on macrophages because the incorrect time of macrophage administration could result in diverse outcomes regarding the same macrophage *** this work,the second near-infrared(NIR-II)fluorescence imaging in vivo tracking of M2 macrophages during a pro-healing therapy in the mice model of rotator cuff injury revealed that the behavior of administrated macrophages was influenced by the timing of their *** delayed cell therapy(DCT)group had a longer retention time of injected M2 macrophages in the repairing tissue than that in the immediate cell therapy(ICT)*** Keller-Segel model and histological analysis further demonstrated that DCT altered the chemotaxis of M2 macrophages and improved the healing outcome of the repaired structure in comparison with *** results offer a possible explanation of previous conflicting results on reparative cell therapy and provoke reconsideration of the timing of these therapies.

Background Opisthorchiasis and clonorchiasis, caused byOpisthorchis viverrini andClonorchis sinensis, respectively, are significant yet neglected foodborne trematodiases in the Great Mekong Subregion (GMS). Despite the reporting of the prevalence of these human liver flukes in the region over the past decades, there has been a lack of a comprehensive and systematic consolidation of this data. Therefore, we aimed to conduct a thorough systematic review and meta-analysis to synthesize and analyze time-trend prevalence estimates of bothO. viverrini andC. sinensis across the GMS for the past 30 *** This study undertakes a systematic review using a comprehensive search for published articles in PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, Cochrane and Thai Journal Online databases until early 2023. The pooled prevalence ofO. viverrini andC. sinensis infection was analyzed through a random-effects meta-analysis, with meta-regression analysis used to quantify associations with study characteristics. Sub-group analysis was conducted, whenever comparison data were available, to assess the risk ofO. viverrini andC. sinensis infection in each GMS country. Heterogeneity among studies was assessed using the Q statistic and quantified by using theI2 *** From a total of 2997 articles, 155 articles comprising 218 datasets and 751,108 participants were included for review. The GMS prevalence ofO. viverrini was 21.11% [45,083/260,237; 95% confidence interval (CI): 17.74–24.47%]. Pooled prevalence estimates were highly observed in Laos (34.06%, 95%CI: 26.85–41.26%), followed by Thailand (18.19%, 95%CI: 13.86–22.51%), and Cambodia (10.48%, 95%CI: 5.52–15.45%). BACKGROUND Triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index values are a new surrogate marker for insulin *** study aimed to explore the relationship between cumulative TyG index values and atrial fibrillation(AF)recurrence after radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA).METHODS A total of 576 patients with AF who underwent RFCA at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University were included in this *** participants were grouped based on cumulative TyG index values tertiles within 3 months after *** regression and restricted cubic spline analyses were used to determine the relationship between cumulative TyG index values and AF *** predictive value of all risk factors was assessed by receiver operating curve *** There were 375 patients completed the study(age:63.23±10.73 years,64.27%male).The risk of AF recurrence increased with increasing cumulative TyG index values *** adjusting for potential confounders,patients in the medium cumulative TyG index group[hazard ratio(HR)=4.949,95%CI:1.778–13.778,P=0.002]and the high cumulative TyG index group(HR=8.716,95%CI:3.371–22.536,P<0.001)had a higher risk of AF recurrence than those in the low cumulative TyG index *** restricted cubic spline regression model also showed an increased risk of AF recurrence with increasing cumulative TyG index *** considering cumulative TyG index values,left atrial diameter,and lactate dehydrogenase levels as a comprehensive factor,the model could effectively predict AF recurrence after RFCA[area under the curve(AUC)=0.847,95%CI:0.797–0.897,P<0.001].CONCLUSIONS Cumulative TyG index values were a risk factor for AF recurrence after *** longitudinal TyG index values may assist with optimized for risk stratification and outcome prediction for AF recurrence.
