BACKGROUND Childhood obesity is a growing global concern with far-reaching health *** study focuses on evaluating the knowledge and practices of physicians in morocco regarding the link between maternal obesity and childhood *** the increasing prevalence of childhood obesity worldwide,this issue remains inadequately addressed in the moroccan *** To assess the awareness and practices of physicians in morocco concerning the connection between maternal obesity and childhood *** The research encompasses a comprehensive survey of practicing physicians,revealing significant gaps in awareness and practices related to maternal *** Notably,a significant portion of doctors do not provide adequate guidance to overweight pregnant women,highlighting the urgency for targeted educational *** In conclusion,this research illuminates critical areas for improvement in tackling childhood obesity in *** addressing these gaps,fostering awareness,and enhancing medical practices,the healthcare system can contribute significantly to preventing childhood obesity and improving the overall health of future generations.

In the last few decades, addressing the global challenge of implementation of strategies for renewable energy and energy efficiency has become ***, since 2009, has made a steadfast commitment to sustainability, with a particular focus on advancing the development of renewable energy resources. A comprehensive strategy has been formulated, centering on utilizing the country's energy potential to drive progress in this vital sector. morocco is considered a country with abundant thermal water, indicating deep reservoirs with significant hydrothermal potential. Geothermal zones were selected based on the abundance of hot springs where water temperatures were high and geothermal gradients were significant. The abundance and importance of hot springs, combined with recent volcanism and ongoing non-tectonic activity linked to alpine orogeny, strongly suggest that these regions are promising reservoirs for geothermal energy. This great potential also extends to neighboring countries. In northeast and south morocco, the temperature of thermal water ranges from 26 to 54℃. This study serves as an inclusive review of the geothermal potentialities in morocco.

The Tarfaya-Laayoune-Boujdour basin is of great interest to oil exploration;on this aspect, there has been exploration by the moroccan National Office of Hydrocarbons and mining, which has shown indices of oil and/or gas recorded in most wells drilled in the moroccan Atlantic margin. FD-1 well, object of this study, is one of these wells located in the offshore Tarfaya-Laayoune-Boujdour basin. A palynological examination of the processed samples revealed the existence of organic palynomorphs, well conserved and rich in dinoflagellate cysts. The latter are composed of worldwide marker taxa of high stratigraphic resolutions. Thus, the middle upper Albian (3408 - 3408.5 m) is determined by the presence of Cribroperidinium tensiftense, Tehamadinium coummia, Spiniferella cornuta, Chichaouadinium vestitum, Dinopterygium alatum and Litosphaeridium arundum. The upper Albian (3406.5 - 3408 m) is characterized by the FOs of marker taxa: Cyclonephelium chabaca, Cribroperidinium auctificum and Chichaouadinium vestitum. Lastly, the upper Albian-lower Cenomanian transition is defined between 3404 m and 3406.50 m, as suggested by the FOs of Chichaouadinium boydii, Dinopterygium tuberculatum, Sepispinula ancorifera, Litosphaeridium conispinum, Prolixosphaeridium conulum and Xenascus ceratioides.

We report on the structural,magnetic,and magnetocaloric properties of EuRhO_(3) *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).It is found that the Eu ions are mainly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***_(3) powders are found to be antiferromagnetic with a second order magnetic transition at Neel temperature(T_(N)=2.9 K).Analysis of the magnetic susceptibility versus temperature data in terms of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/(T-θ_(W))) for T>T_(N),yields θ_(W)=-3.1 K and effective magne tic moment μ_(ff)^(exp),which is close to the theoretical value μ_(eff)^(theo).The magnetic entropy change(-Δ_(Sm)),was determined by em ploying the thermodynam ic maxwell's *** μ_0H=5 T and near T_(N),ΔS_(m)^(max) and relative cooling power(RCP) exhibit large values of 33.7 J/(kg·K) and 238 J/kg,*** large magnitude of-Δ_(Sm) and RCP show that the EuRhO_(3) compound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

We use the Pair Approximation method to analyze the magnetic and magnetocaloric behaviors of diluted mixed spin SA=1 and spin SB=1/2 with the anisotropic Heisenberg model, on a cubic lattice with coordination number z=6. Our system is described in presence of an external magnetic field;the phase diagram and thermodynamic properties related to the concentration of magnetic atom(A or B) and the single ion anisotropy are constructed and *** attention is paid to magnetocaloric properties provided by isothermal entropy change as well as the cooling capacity. These cooling power keys are plotted and discussed as a function of interaction anisotropy and magnetic component concentration of two sublattices ions A and B. Numerical results show a double peak structure in the entropy change curve and the inverse magnetocaloric effect related to the presence of the negative single-ion anisotropy.

Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in mineral Alteration mapping and Lineament Extraction Case of Oudiane Elkharoub (Requibat Shield, Northern of mauritania)

The integration of remotely sensed data allowed the successful characterization of the mineral alteration zones of the Oudiane Elkharoub area in the Northeastern part of Reguibat Shield using image transformation techniques. As both chemical and geochemical analyses showed significant Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, mn, Cr, Ni, Th and Y anomalies, it’s very interesting to apply the remote sensing and GIS in mineral resources mapping. The remote sensing is a direct adjunct to the field, lithologic and structural mapping, and more recently, GIS has played an important role in the study of mineralization areas. The integration of several evidential maps highlighted the plausible areas with high concentrations of chlorite, epidote, kaolinite, calcite, alunite, hematite, illite and sulfur among other key mineral alterations that reflect the intensity of hydrothermal effects and the probable sites of ore bodies. The methodological approach integrates geological information acquired from Aster and Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS (Operational Land Imager/Thermal InfraRed Sensor) images and a multi-criteria GIS analysis. The superimposition of various lineament and hydrothermal alteration maps and the consideration of precious and base metal indicators allowed the zoning of sites likely to contain mineral concentrations. Remote sensing becomes an important tool for locating mineral deposits in its own right, when the primary and secondary processes of mineralization result in the formation of spectral anomalies. Reconnaissance lithological mapping is usually the first step of mineral resource mapping. This is complimented with structural mapping, as mineral deposits usually occur along or adjacent to geologic structures, and alteration mapping, as mineral deposits are commonly associated with hydrothermal alteration of the surrounding rocks. Ground truthing and laboratory studies including XRD analysis were utilized to verify the results.

The present work assesses the temporal distribution pattern and geochemical changes of rare earth elements and Yttrium, Scandium, Thorium, and Uranium delivery into the Oualidia lagoon. Two sediment cores were retrieved from the Oualidia lagoon and analyzed using neutron activation analysis. The results indicated that heavy rare earth elements are slightly enriched the sediment cores over light rare earth elements. The highest values of REEs were recorded in the top layers of the cores and depleted with depth, suggesting a possible change in factors controlling their accumulation, including mechanical, chemical, and environmental parameters such as weathering intensity, grain size, and Fe-mn oxides. The sediments display positive Ce anomalies, which are probably related to the submarine weathering process and detrital input. Noting also the variation of hydrodynamics conditions and confinement of the upstream part of the lagoon played a key role in changing the sediment ***, further investigation of REEs origin in the Oualidia lagoon sediment is required to identify their sources,provenances, and the factors controlling their spatial and vertical distributions. However, these results provide baseline data of occurring changes in REEs geochemical composition and constitute a typical study case to understand the link between sedimentary and geochemistry processes in a lagoonal ecosystem.

The Oulad Dlim massif,adjacent to the Reguibat Shield in South morocco was considered up to now as part of the Variscan belt(mauritanides)with a polyphase geologic history and a complex geodynamic evolution implicating oceans closures and accretion of exotic terranes(Avalonian and meguman)during the Variscan-Alleghanian *** use of modern technology to characterize the petrology,the geochemistry and the geochronology of the lithological units forming this region,combined to field surveys has led to an updated geological architecture and different geological *** Oulad Dlim massif is mainly a deformed Archean terrane,as recorded by its eastern and western sectors,dominated in its central part by a bimodal felsic-mafic magmatism forming the Ediacaran *** study of these magmatic complexes supports strongly the intracontinental origin of this bimodal magmatism *** oceanic origin published before in *** exploration of this massif conducted also to the identification of a Silurian-devonian sector in the western ***,up to date,different magmatic events lasting from the meso-Archean to the Cretaceous are recorded in the Oulad Dlim massif rocks,among them different generations of granitoids are *** data on granitoids from the Ediacaran sector are presented in this *** recent data demonstrates that Oulad Dlim massif has been affected by the main Ediacaran–Cambrian extensional event widely documented in other structural domains of morocco and other parts of North ***,the study of the Silurian-devonian sector rocks highlighted the presence of a Caledonian tectonic event challenging the ideas about the paleogeography of this part of northwestern Africa and its geological evolution during the ***,despite the significant contribution of this extensive survey and the abundance of data on the Oulad Dlim massif,more studies are required to reconstruct the puzzle at plate tectonic scale.

The vulnerability map is a fondamental document for the development of territory. It basically allows you to guide the siting of development projects that may have a negative impact on the quality of groundwater resources. The Geographic Information Systems are powerful tools of choice for the development of vulnerability maps of aquifers, they facilitate multicriteria analysis and updated models developed. Given the strategic role of the underground water Berrechid in the economic and social development of the region of Bouregreg-chaouia, development, we proceeded to develop the vulnerability map of this area by exploiting the features offered by the GIS Arc GIS 9.3 extensions Spatial Analysis Tools and Geostatistical Analyst allowed us to calculate the indices of seven parameters of the DRASTIC method, these indices were classified into five categories: Extreme, High, medium, Low, Very Low. developed the card can be used as a tool for decision support in planning and helps to preserve the groundwater in the area Berrechid and surrounding areas.
