Pillar effect induced by ultrahigh phosphorous/nitrogen doping enables graphene/MXene film with excellent cycling stability for alkali metal ion storage

Graphene's large theoretical surface area and high conductivity make it an attractive anode material for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,its practical application is hindered by small interlayer distance and long ion transfer ***,this paper aims to address the issue by introducing MXene through a simple and scalable method for assembling graphene and realizing ultrahigh P doping *** findings reveal that MXene and P-c bonds have a "pillar effect" on the structure of graphene,and the P-c bond plays a primary *** addition,N/P co-doping introduces abundant defects,providing more active sites for K^(+) storage and facilitating K^(+) *** expected,the developed ultrahigh phosphorous/nitrogen co-doped flexible reduced graphene oxide/MXene(NPrGM) electrode exhibits remarkable reversible discharge capacity(554 mA hg^(-1) at 0.05 A g^(-1)),impressive rate capability(178 mA h g^(-1) at 2 A g^(-1)),and robust cyclic stability(0.0005% decay per cycle after 10,000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1)).Furthermore,the assembled activated carbon‖NPrGM potassium-ion hybrid capacitor(PIHc) can deliver an impressive energy density of 131 W h kg^(-1) and stable cycling performance with 98.1% capacitance retention after5000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).Such a new strategy will effectively promote the practical application of graphene materials in PIBs/PIHcs and open new avenues for the scalable development of flexible films based on two-dimensional materials for potential applications in energy storage,thermal interface,and electromagnetic shielding.

In the contemporary era,the global expansion of electrical grids is propelled by various renewable energy sources(RESs).Efficient integration of stochastic RESs and optimal power flow(OPF)management are critical for network *** study introduces an innovative solution,the Gaussian Bare-Bones Levy cheetah Optimizer(GBBLcO),addressing OPF challenges in power generation systems with stochastic *** primary objective is to minimize the total operating costs of RESs,considering four functions:overall operating costs,voltage deviation management,emissions reduction,voltage stability index(VSI)and power loss ***,a carbon tax is included in the objective function to reduce carbon *** scrutiny,using modified IEEE 30-bus and IEEE 118-bus systems,validates GBBLcO’s superior performance in achieving optimal *** results demonstrate GBBLcO’s efficacy in six optimization scenarios:total cost with valve point effects,total cost with emission and carbon tax,total cost with prohibited operating zones,active power loss optimization,voltage deviation optimization and enhancing voltage stability index(VSI).GBBLcO outperforms conventional techniques in each scenario,showcasing rapid convergence and superior solution ***,GBBLcO navigates complexities introduced by valve point effects,adapts to environmental constraints,optimizes costs while considering prohibited operating zones,minimizes active power losses,and optimizes voltage deviation by enhancing the voltage stability index(VSI)*** research significantly contributes to advancing OPF,emphasizing GBBLcO’s improved global search capabilities and ability to address challenges related to local *** emerges as a versatile and robust optimization tool for diverse challenges in power systems,offering a promising solution for the evolving needs of renewable energy-integrated power grids.

Strong ferroelectric and luminescence properties of 0-3 type 0.8BaTiO_(3)-0.2caTiO_(3):Pr^(3+)composite ceramics prepared by cold sintering process

0-3 type ferroelectric-phosphor composite ceramics cannot be prepared by the traditional solid-state sintering(SSS)method due to the strong chemical reaction between ferroelectrics and phosphors during high-temperature *** cold sintering process(cSP)may solve this issue by densifying ceramics at ultralow sintering *** this work,dense 0-3 type 0.8BaTiO_(3)-0.2caTiO_(3):Pr^(3+)(0.8BT-0.2cT:Pr^(3+))binary composite ceramics were fabricated at an ultralow temperature of 225℃via cSP with the Ba(OH)2·8H2O hydrated *** effects of the Ba(OH)_(2)·8H2O content,sintering temperature,and sintering time on the microstructure and densification of the ceramics were *** density of the composite ceramics prepared by the optimized sintering parameters reaches 89%.Both energy-dispersive X-ray(EDX)spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction(XRD)confirm the existence of BT and cT:Pr^(3+)phases in the prepared ceramics.A strong ferroelectric performance is obtained,and the luminescent properties of cT:Pr^(3+)are preserved for the ***,the 0.8BT-0.2cT:Pr^(3+)composite ceramics prepared by cSP have stronger photoluminescence and photo-stimulated luminescence than their counterparts prepared by cold sintering assistance(cSA)and SSS ***,cSP is a promising method for combining luminescent and ferroelectric properties into 0-3 type composite ceramics.

Accurately tracking hypersonic gliding vehicles via an LEO mega-constellation in relay tracking mode

In order to effectively defend against the threats of the hypersonic gliding vehicles(HGVs),HGVs should be tracked as early as possible,which is beyond the capability of the ground-based *** benefited by the developing megaconstellations in low-earth orbit,this paper proposes a relay tracking mode to track HGVs to overcome the above *** whole tracking mission is composed of several tracking intervals with the same *** each tracking interval,several appropriate satellites are dispatched to track the *** that are planned to take part in the tracking mission are selected by a new derived observability *** tracking performances of the proposed tracking mode and the other two traditional tracking modes,including the stare and track-rate modes,are compared by *** results show that the relay tracking mode can track the whole trajectory of a HGV,while the stare mode can only provide a very short tracking ***,the relay tracking mode achieve higher tracking accuracy with fewer attitude controls than the track-rate mode.

Effect of dissolved organic nitrogen on the bloom of Prorocentrum donghaiense and Karenia spp. in the East china Sea coastal waters

Understan ding the mechanism of harmful algal bloom formation is vital for effectively preventing algal bloom outbreaks in coastal *** *** in the East china Sea show a significant correlation with nutrient ***,the impact of key components of nutrients,especially dissolved organic nitrogen(DON),on the blooms of Karenia *** not *** research is still *** this study,the cruise observations,field mesocosm-flask culture experiments,and a multinitrogen-tri-phytoplankton-detritus model(NTPD) are combined to reveal the quantitative influence of nutrient regimes on the shift of Prorocentrum donghaiense and Karenia *** the East china *** has a synchronism rhythm of *** spp.-diatom loop in the field culture experiment,which is consistent with the results of the cruise *** results showed that the processes of terrigenous DON(TeDON) and dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN:NO_(3)^(-)-N,NH_(4)^(+)-N) absorption promoted *** to become the dominant algae in the community;whereas the processes of DON from *** absorption promoted Karenia *** become the dominant algae in ambient DIN *** addition,the three-dimensional fluorescence components of humus c,tyrosine and fulvic acid can indicate the processes of growth and extinction of *** and Karenia spp.,*** study infers that *** and Karenia *** shift mechanism associated with the nutrient regime in coastal waters,which provides a scientific basis for the environmental management of coastal eco system health.

A synthesis of the cretaceous wildfire record related to atmospheric oxygen levels?

The cretaceous was a significant greenhouse period in earth's history with higher atmospheric cO_(2) levels and temperatures than today. Although evidence of combustion has been widely described from the cretaceous deposits, our understanding of the spatiotemporal diversification pattern and process of the cretaceous wildfires is still limited. In this study, we comprehensively synthesize a total of 271 published cretaceous wildfire occurrences based on the by-products of burning, including fossil charcoal, pyrogenic inertinite(fossil charcoal in coal), and pyrogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs). Spatially, the dataset shows a distinctive distribution of reported wildfire evidence characterized by high concentration in the middle latitudinal areas of the Northern Hemisphere(30°N-60°N) over the cretaceous. Temporally, an overall increasing trend of the reported wildfire data from the Early cretaceous to the Late cretaceous is coincident with higher atmospheric O_(2) levels. However, the spatial and temporal patterns may result from many types of factors, such as taphonomy, preservation, and researcher biases, instead of a real picture of the cretaceous wildfire evolution. To better understand the spatiotemporal diversification of the cretaceous wildfire, more investigations on the record of wildfire occurrences during this period would be necessary in the future.

Deep learning cNN-APSO-LSSVM hybrid fusion model for feature optimization and gas-bearing prediction

conventional machine learning(cML) methods have been successfully applied for gas reservoir prediction. Their prediction accuracy largely depends on the quality of the sample data; therefore, feature optimization of the input samples is particularly important. commonly used feature optimization methods increase the interpretability of gas reservoirs; however, their steps are cumbersome, and the selected features cannot sufficiently guide cML models to mine the intrinsic features of sample data efficiently. In contrast to cML methods, deep learning(DL) methods can directly extract the important features of targets from raw data. Therefore, this study proposes a feature optimization and gas-bearing prediction method based on a hybrid fusion model that combines a convolutional neural network(cNN)and an adaptive particle swarm optimization-least squares support vector machine(APSO-LSSVM). This model adopts an end-to-end algorithm structure to directly extract features from sensitive multicomponent seismic attributes, considerably simplifying the feature optimization. A cNN was used for feature optimization to highlight sensitive gas reservoir information. APSO-LSSVM was used to fully learn the relationship between the features extracted by the cNN to obtain the prediction results. The constructed hybrid fusion model improves gas-bearing prediction accuracy through two processes of feature optimization and intelligent prediction, giving full play to the advantages of DL and cML methods. The prediction results obtained are better than those of a single cNN model or APSO-LSSVM model. In the feature optimization process of multicomponent seismic attribute data, cNN has demonstrated better gas reservoir feature extraction capabilities than commonly used attribute optimization methods. In the prediction process, the APSO-LSSVM model can learn the gas reservoir characteristics better than the LSSVM model and has a higher prediction accuracy. The constructed cNN-APSO-LSSVM mode

Solution-processed rare-earth thulium oxide with high permittivity for low-voltage transistor and inverters applications
