In this paper,a novel ternary eutectic salt Na_(2)CO_(3)-Li_(2)CO_(3)-LiF was designed and investigated for concentrated solar power(CSP).The FactSage software was used to predict the composition and eutectic point of Na_(2)CO_(3)-Li_(2)CO_(3)-*** microstructure,thermophysical properties,and thermal stability of eutectic salts were experimentally measured using various analytical *** a mass ratio of 57%:32%:11%,the eutectic salt exhibited excellent thermal storage properties with a fusion enthalpy of 413 J/g and a melting point of 426.8℃.The excellent thermal stability of the eutectic salt was reflected by a weight loss of only 0.8% at 600℃.

Gas–solid separation fluidized bed is a typical method for coal separation without water *** A particles is also considered as the ideal dense medium to strengthen separation *** stability reflects the bed pressure fluctuations and the distribution of bubble and emulsion phases,affecting the separation *** the main frequency of pressure fluctuations can directly reflect the degree of pressure ***,the detailed fluidization stability is analyzed combined the method of standard deviation of pressure fluctuations,power spectral density,etc.,for Geldart A *** results showed that maintaining an appropriate gas velocity resulted in an average bed pressure of around 2000 *** main frequency is mainly concentrated around 1–1.5 ***,a prediction model of the main frequency of pressure fluctuations is established,and the error can be controlled within±*** investigation further proved the stable fluidization of Geldart A particles and provides a method for predicting the main frequency of pressure fluctuations in the gas–solid separation fluidized bed.

The study is focused on the use of nanofluids in a micro-open tall cavity,which is a type of micro heat exchanger(MHE).The cavity is heated from the bottom sidewall in a sinusoidal pattern,and the effects of four input parameters(Ra,Ha,Kn,and Vf)on heat transfer and irreversibility are investigated using numerical simulations based on Lattice boltzmann Method(LbM).The findings of the study suggest that the local heat transfer on the bottom sidewall is strongly influenced by Ra and Ha,while the surface distribution of entropy generation is mainly dependent on *** study also shows that the optimization of the magnitude and wavelength of the sinusoidal temperature can improve both local heat transfer and surface distribution of entropy *** results of the study provide valuable insights into the design of micro heat exchangers and suggest that the optimization of micro-porous geometries using DOE could lead to increased energy *** study contributes to our understanding of the complex interactions between input parameters in micro heat exchangers and highlights the importance of considering multiple parameters in the design process.

In this paper,we address the complex problem of dock-door assignment and truck scheduling within cross-docking *** is a problem that requires frequent resolution throughout the operational day,as disruptions often invalidate the optimal *** the problem's highly combinatorial nature,finding an optimal solution demands significant computational time and ***,the distribution of data across problem instances over a lengthy planning horizon remains consistently stable,with minimal concern regarding distribution *** factors collectively establish the problem as an ideal candidate for a learn-to-optimize solution *** propose a Dantzig-Wolfe reformulation,solving it via both a conventional branch-and-price approach and a neural branch-and-price approach,the latter of which employs imitation ***,we introduce some classes of valid inequalities to enhance and refine the pricing problem through a branch-and-cut *** computational experiments demonstrate that this methodology is not only feasible but also presents a viable alternative to the traditional branch-and-price algorithms typically utilized for such challenges.

In groundwater hydrology,aquitard heterogeneity is often less considered compared to aquifers,despite its significant impact on groundwater hydraulics and groundwater resources evaluation.A semi-analytical solution is derived for pumping-induced well hydraulics and groundwater budget with consideration of vertical heterogeneity in aquitard hydraulic conductivity(K)and specific storage(S_(s)).The proposed new solution is innovative in its partitioning of the aquitard into multiple homogeneous sub-layers to enable consideration of various forms of vertically heterogeneous K or S_(s).Two scenarios of analytical investigations are explored:one is the presence of aquitard interlayers with distinct K or S_(s) values,a common field-scale occurrence;another is an exponentially depth-decaying aquitard S_(s),a regional-scale phenomenon supported by statistical *** investigations reveal that a low-K interlayer can significantly increase aquifer drawdown and enhance aquifer/aquitard depletion;a high-S_(s) interlayer can noticeably reduce aquifer drawdown and increase aquitard *** of low-K or high-S_(s) interlayers also significantly impact well hydraulics and groundwater *** the context of an exponentially depth-decaying aquitard S_(s),a larger decay exponent can enhance aquifer *** using current models with a vertically homogeneous aquitard,half the sum of the geometric and harmonic means of exponentially depth-decaying aquitard S_(s) should be used to calculate aquitard depletion and unconfined aquifer leakage.

Luminescence thermometry is a reliable approach for remote thermal sensing,and extensive studies have been devoted to designing a luminescence thermometer with heightened thermal ***,we report a promising luminescence thermometric material,Ta^(5+)-substituted K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3):0.003Er^(3+)transparent ferroelectric *** temperature sensing sensitivity is significantly improved by adjusting the concentration of Ta^(5+)in the ***,utilizing the fluorescence intensity ratio from the 2H_(11/2) and 4S_(3/2) thermally coupled states of Er^(3+)as a detecting signal within the temperature range of 273–543 K,an optimal maximum absolute sensitivity of 0.0058 K–1 and relative sensitivity of 0.0158 K–1 are achieved for K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3):0.65Ta^(5+)/0.003Er^(3+).Simultaneously,as the concentration of Ta5+increase,a unique evolution of structural phase transitions is observed from orthorhombic to tetragonal and then to *** is accompanied by an improvement in luminescence temperature sensing properties,and the best sensitivity is demonstrated in the cubic-phase ***,a huge change in infrared luminescence properties as a function of temperature is found around the structure transition temperature of the *** results indicate a promising potential for achieving highly sensitive thermometry or monitoring phase structure transitions through luminescence thermometry behavior in the K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3) host.

Phosphate tailings are usually used as backfill material in order to recycle tailings *** study considers the effect of the mix proportions of clinker-free binders on the fluidity,compressive strength and other key performances of cementitious backfill materials based on phosphate *** particular,three solid wastes,phosphogypsum(PG),semi-aqueous phosphogypsum(HPG)and calcium carbide slag(CS),were selected to activate wet ground granulated blast furnace slag(WGGbS)and three different phosphate tailings backfill materials were ***,rheology,settling ratio,compressive strength,water resistance and ion leaching behavior of backfill materials were *** to the results,when either PG or HPG is used as the sole activator,the fluidity properties of the materials are *** tailings backfill material activated with PG present the largest fluidity and the lowest yield ***,the backfill material’s compressive strength is considerably increased to 2.9 MPa at 28 days after WGGbS activation using a mix of HPG and CS,all with a settling ratio of only 1.15 ***,all the three ratios of binder have obvious solidification effects on heavy metal ions Cu and Zn,and P in phosphate tailings.

The number and composition of species in a community can be quantified withα-diversity indices,including species richness(R),Simpson’s index(D),and the Shannon-Wiener index(H΄).In forest communities,there are large variations in tree size among species and individu-als of the same species,which result in differences in eco-logical processes and ecosystem ***,tree size inequality(TSI)has been largely neglected in studies using the available diversity *** TSI in the diameter at breast height(DbH)data for each of 99920 m×20 m forest census quadrats was quantified using the Gini index(GI),a measure of the inequality of size *** generalized performance equation was used to describe the rotated and right-shifted Lorenz curve of the cumulative proportion of DbH and the cumulative proportion of number of trees per *** also examined the relationships ofα-diversity indices with the GI using correlation *** generalized performance equation effectively described the rotated and right-shifted Lorenz curve of DbH distributions,with most root-mean-square errors(990 out of 999 quadrats)beingbetween each of threeα-diversity indices(i.e.,R,D,and H’)and the ***,the total abundance of trees in each quadrat did not significantly influence the *** means that the TSI increased with increasing spe-cies ***,two new indices are proposed that can balanceα-diversity against the extent of TSI in the com-munity:(1−GI)×D,and(1−GI)×H’.These new indices were significantly correlated with the original D and H΄,and did not increase the extent of variation within each group of *** study presents a useful tool for quantifying both species diversity and the variation in tree sizes in forest communities,especially in the face of cumulative species loss under global climate change.
