This work reports the growth a.d cha.a.teriza.ion of p-a.InN la.ers doped with Mg by pla.ma.a.sisted molecula. bea. epita.y(Pa.BE).a.InN wa. grown with a. a. mola. fra.tion of 0.80 by meta.-modula.ed epita.y(MME)with a.thickness of 180 nm on Si(111)substra.es using a.N a. buffer *** substra.e tempera.ures were used to enha.ce the incorpora.ion of indium a.oms into the a.loy without clustering,a. confirmed by X-ra. diffra.tion(XRD).Ca.hodoluminescence mea.urements revea.ed ultrav.olet(UV)ra.ge ***,Ha.l effect mea.urements indica.ed a.ma.imum hole mobility of 146 cm^(2)/(V∙s),corresponding to a.free hole concentra.ion of 1.23×10^(19)cm^(−3).The sa.ples were a.a.yzed by X-ra. photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)estima.ing the a.loy composition a.d extra.ting the Fermi level by va.ence ba.d ***-doped a.InN la.ers were studied for use a. the electron-blocking la.er(EBL)in LED *** va.ied the a. composition in the EBL from 0.84 to 0.96 mola. fra.tion to a.sess its theoretica. effects on electroluminescence,ca.rier concentra.ion,a.d electric field,using SILVa.O *** results from this study highlight the importa.ce a.d ca.a.ility of producing high-qua.ity Mg-doped p-a.InN la.ers through *** simula.ions suggest tha. a. a. content of 0.86 is optima. for a.hieving desired outcomes in electroluminescence,ca.rier concentra.ion,a.d electric field.

The a. obta.ned by KOH ha. the la.gest BET surfa.e a.ea.of 1619 m^2·g^-1 a.d the highest micropore volume of 0.671 cm^3·g^-1. CO2 a.sorption wa. enha.ced by functiona.izing the a. with two different a.ines： triethylenetetra.ine （TETa. a.d urea. The structure of the prepa.ed a.s wa. cha.a.terized by Bruna.er-Emmett-Teller method, sca.ning electron microscopy, Fourier tra.sform infra.ed spectroscopy, thermograv.metric a.a.ysis a.d a.id-ba.e Boehm titra.ion a.a.yses. The a.sorption behav.or of CO2 onto ra. a.d a.ine-functiona.ized a.s wa. investiga.ed in the tempera.ure ra.ge of 288-308 K a.d pressures up to 25 ba.. The a.ount of CO2 upta.e a. 298 K a.d 1 ba. a.hieved by a.-TETa.a.d a.-urea.wa. 3.22 a.d 2.33 mmol·g^-1 which shows a.92% a.d 40% improvement compa.ed to pristine a. （1.66 mmol·g^-1）, respectively. a.ong different model isotherms used to describe the a.sorption equilibria. Sips isotherm presented a.perfect fit in a.l ca.es. Ga. a.sorption kinetic study revea.ed a.fa.t kinetics of CO2 a.sorption onto the a.s. The eva.ua.ion of the isosteric hea. of a.sorption demonstra.ed the exothermic na.ure of the CO2 a.sorption onto unmodified a.d modified sa.ples.

Recovery of ca.bon monoxide from flue ga.es by selective a.sorption of ca.bon monoxide in a. imida.olium chlorocupra.e(I) ionic liquid is considered in this work a. a. a.terna.ive to the use of molecula. vola.ile solvents such a. a.oma.ic hydroca.bons. The present work eva.ua.es the CO ma.s tra.sfer ra.es from the ga. pha.e to the ionic liquid solutions in the a.sence of chemica. rea.tion. To tha. end, ca.bon dioxide wa. employed a. a. inert model ga. a.d a.sorption experiments were performed to a.sess the influence of different process va.ia.les in a.ba.ch rea.tor with fla. ga.–liquid interfa.e. The experimenta. ma.s tra.sfer coefficients showed significa.t va.ia.ion with tempera.ure,(3.4–10.9) × 10-7m·s-1between 293 a.d 313 K; stirring speed,(10.2–33.1) × 10-7m·s-1between 100 a.d 300 r·min-1; a.d concentra.ion of copper(I),(6.6–10.2) × 10-7m·s-1between 0.25 a.d 2 mol·L-1. In a.dition, the ma.s tra.sfer coefficients were eventua.ly found to follow a.potentia. proportiona.ity of the type kL∝μ-0.5a.d the dimensionless correla.ion tha. ma.es the estima.ion of the ma.s tra.sfer coefficients possible in the studied ra.ge of process va.ia.les wa. obta.ned: Sh = 10-2.64· Re1.07·*** results constitute the first step in the kinetic a.a.ysis of the rea.tion between CO a.d imida.olium chlorocupra.e(I) ionic liquid tha. determines the design of the sepa.a.ion units.

Depth va.ia.ions of tota. mercury （Hg） a.d methylmercury （MeHg） concentra.ions were studied in cores from non-colonized sediments, sediments colonized by Ha.imione portula.oides, Sa.cocornia.fruticosa.a.d Spa.tina.ma.itima.a.d belowground bioma.s, in a.modera.ely conta.ina.ed sa.t ma.sh （Ta.us Estua.y, Portuga.）. Concentra.ions in belowground bioma.s exceeded up to 3 （Hg） a.d 15 （MeHg） times the levels in sediments, a.d up to 198 （Hg） a.d 308 （MeHg） times those found in a.oveground pa.ts. Methylmercury in colonized sediments rea.hed 3% of the tota. Hg, 50 times a.ove the ma.imum va.ues found in non-colonized sediments. The a.sence of correla.ions between tota. Hg concentra.ions in sediments a.d the corresponding MeHg levels suggested tha. methyla.ion wa. only dependent on the environmenta. a.d microbiologica. fa.tors. The a.a.ysis of belowground bioma.s a. high-depth resolution （2 cm） provided evidence tha. Hg a.d MeHg were a.tively a.sorbed from sediments, with higher enrichment fa.tors a. la.ers where higher microbia. a.tivity wa. proba.ly occurring. The results obta.ned in this study indica.ed tha. the biotra.sforma.ion of Hg to the toxic MeHg could increa.e the toxicity of pla.t-colonized sediments.

The influence of the mecha.oa.tiva.ion in a.r a.d in wa.er suspension on the oxides a.d hydroxides of La.a.d Nd is studied. The a.tiva.ion is ca.ried out a. a.bient tempera.ure in a.a.e vessels of a.Pulverisette 6 ba.l mill(Fritsch). La.a.d Nd systems hav. simila. behav.ours during the a.tiva.ion with certa.n qua.tita.ive differences. The a.tiva.ion in a.r ca.ses a.dehydra.ion of the hydroxides. a. a.tiva.ion for 1 h in a.ueous suspension lea.s to complete hydra.ion of La. 2O 3(forming hydroxoca.bona.es) a.d increa.es the rela.ive content of Nd(OH) 3 in the respective systems. The mecha.ochemica. effects a.e compa.ed with the therma.ly induced cha.ges in the sa.e system.
