Combined Insights from Leachate Structure and Microstructure Characteristics for Eating Quality of Convenience Rice Processed by Super-Heated and Pressurized Steam Technologies

Convenience rice has become widely popular due to its easy availability for cooking. This study investigated the starch structure and composition of leachate and the microstructure of reheated convenience rice using novel processing technologies: super-heated steaming(SHS), auto-electric cooking(AEC), and pressurized-steam cooking(PSC). Additionally, the effect of two different target water contents(58% and 63%) was also evaluated. The PSC_63% sample had the highest total solids and amylopectin amount in the leachate. The amylopectin amount in the leachate differed significantly based on the targeted water content. Morphological characterization revealed that the swelling of starch and the coated layer on the surface of rice grains were most pronounced in the PSC_63% sample due to the pressure processing. The textural hardness of the AEC_58% sample was much higher than that of the other samples. The PSC_63% sample had the highest textural adhesiveness value, which can be attributed to the highest amylopectin amount in the leachate. Sensory characterization showed that the PSC_63% sample had the highest glossiness, whiteness, moistness, and overall acceptability. The principal component analysis score plots presented substantial differences in the leachate and textural and sensory characteristics of reheated convenience rice among the different processing technologies.

We propose a method for producing composite materials(hTNO@C60) comprising crystalline C60particles and hollow-structu red TiNb2O7（hTNO） nanofibers via facile liquid-liquid interface precipitation followed by low-temperature *** allows the systematic design of crystalline C60as an active material for Li-ion battery *** hTNO@C60composite demonstrates outstanding cyclic stability,retaining a capacity of 465 mA h g-1after 1,000 cycles at 1 A g-1It maintains a capacity of 98 mA h g-1even after16,000 ultralong cycles at 8 A g-1The enhancement in electrochemical properties is attributed to the successful growth and uniform doping of crystalline C60,resulting in improved electrical *** excellent electrochemical stability and properties of these composites make them promising anode materials.

The layered δ-MnO2（dMO） is an excellent cathode material for rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries owing to its large interlayer distance （～0.7 nm）,high capacity,and low cost; however,such cathodes suffer from structural degradation during the long-term cycling process,leading to capacity *** this study,a Co-doped dMO composite with reduced graphene oxide（CC-dMO） is developed using a simple cost-effective hydrothermal *** degree of disorderness increases owing to the hetero-atom doping and graphene oxide *** is demonstrated that layered dMO and CC-dMO undergo a structural transition from K-birnessite to the Zn-buserite phase upon the first discharge,which enhances the intercalation of Zn2+ions,H2O molecules in the layered *** CC-dMO cathode exhibits an excellent capacity of 302mAhg-1at a current density of 100mAg-1after100 cycles as compared with the dMO cathode (159mAhg-1).The excellent electrochemical performance of the CC-dMO cathode owing to Co-doping and graphene oxide sheets enhances the interlayer gap and disorderness,and maintains structural stability,which facilitates the easy reverse intercalation and de-intercalation of Zn2+ions and H2O ***,CC-dMO is a promising cathode material for large-scale aqueous ZIBs.

The journey to implement cancer genomic medicine(CGM)in oncology practice began in the 1980s,which is considered the dawn of genetic and genomic cancer *** the time,a variety of activating oncogenic alterations and their functional significance were unveiled in cancer cells,which led to the development of molecular targeted therapies in the 2000s and *** CGM is still a relatively new discipline and it is difficult to predict to what extent CGM will benefit the diverse pool of cancer patients,the national Cancer Center(NCC)of Japan has already contributed considerably to CGM advancement for the conquest of *** back at these past achievements of the NCC,we predict that the future of CGM will involve the following:1)A biobank of paired cancerous and non-cancerous tissues and cells from various cancer types and stages will be *** quantity and quality of these samples will be compatible with omics *** biobank samples will be linked to longitudinal clinical information.2)New technologies,such as whole-genome sequencing and artificial intelligence,will be introduced and new bioresources for functional and pharmacologic analyses(e.g.,a patient-derived xenograft library)will be systematically deployed.3)Fast and bidirectional translational research(bench-to-bedside and bedside-to-bench)performed by basic researchers and clinical investigators,preferably working alongside each other at the same institution,will be implemented;4)Close collaborations between academia,industry,regulatory bodies,and funding agencies will be established.5)There will be an investment in the other branch of CGM,personalized preventive medicine,based on the individual's genetic predisposition to cancer.

BACKGROUND Intrahepatic duct(IHD)stones are among the most important risk factors for cholangiocarcinoma(CCC).Approximately 10%of patients with IHD stones develop CCC;however,there are limited studies regarding the effect of IHD stone removal on CCC *** To investigate the association between IHD stone removal and CCC *** We retrospectively analyzed 397 patients with IHD stones at a tertiary referral center between January 2011 and December *** CCC occurred in 36 of the 397 enrolled *** univariate analysis,chronic hepatitis B infection(11.1%vs 3.0%,P=0.03),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9,176.00 vs 11.96 II/mL,P=0.010),stone located in left or both lobes(86.1%vs 70.1%,P=0.042),focal atrophy(52.8%vs 26.9%,P=0.001),duct stricture(47.2%vs 24.9%,P=0.004),and removal status of IHD stone(33.3%vs 63.2%,Pre significantly different between IHD stone patients with and without *** the multivariate analysis,CA19-9>upper normal limit,carcinoembryonic antigen>upper normal limit,stones located in the left or both lobes,focal atrophy,and complete removal of IHD stones without recurrence were independent factors influencing CCC ***,the type of removal method was not associated with CCC *** Complete removal of IHD stones without recurrence could reduce CCC risk.

reservoir simulation is known as perhaps the most widely used, accurate, and reliable method for field development in the petroleum industry. An integral part of a reliable reservoir simulation process is to consider robust and rigorous tuned EOS models. Traditionally, EOS models are tuned iteratively through arduous workflows against experimental PVT data. However, this comes with a number of drawbacks such as forcingly using weight factors, which upon alteration adversely affects the optimization *** objective of the current work is thus to introduce an auto-tune PVT matching tool using NSGA-II multi-objective optimization. In order to illustrate the robustness of the presented technique, three different PVT samples are used, including two black-oil and one gas condensate sample. We utilize PengRobinson EOS during all the manual and auto-tuning processes. Comparison of auto-tuned EOS-generated results with those of experimental and computed statistical error values for these samples clearly show that the proposed method is robust. In addition, the proposed method, contrary to the manual matching process, provides the engineer with several matched solutions, which allows them to select a match based on the engineering background to be best amenable to the problem at hand. In addition, the proposed technique is fast, and can output several solutions within less time compared to the traditional manual matching method.
