The analysis of optical spectra—emission or absorption—has been arguably the most powerful approach for discovering and understanding *** invention and development of many kinds of spectrometers have equipped us with versatile yet ultra-sensitive diagnostic tools for trace gas detection,isotope analysis,and resolving hyperfine structures of atoms and *** proliferating data and information,urgent and demanding requirements have been placed today on spectrum analysis with ever-increasing spectral bandwidth and frequency *** requirements are especially stringent for broadband laser sources that carry massive information and for dispersive devices used in information processing *** addition,spectrum analyzers are expected to probe the device’s phase response where extra information is *** we demonstrate a novel vector spectrum analyzer(VSA)that is capable of characterizing passive devices and active laser sources in one *** a dual-mode VSA can measure loss,phase response,and dispersion properties of passive *** also can coherently map a broadband laser spectrum into the RF *** VSA features a bandwidth of 55.1 THz(1260–1640 nm),a frequency resolution of 471 kHz,and a dynamic range of 56 ***,our fiber-based VSA is compact and *** requires neither high-speed modulators and photodetectors nor any active feedback ***,we employ our VSA for applications including characterization of integrated dispersive waveguides,mapping frequency comb spectra,and coherent light detection and ranging(LiDAR).Our VSA presents an innovative approach for device analysis and laser spectroscopy,and can play a critical role in future photonic systems and applications for sensing,communication,imaging,and quantum information processing.

This paper is concerned with the stability of neural networks with time-varying delays. Under assumption that the nonlinear stimulate functions are Lipschitz continuous, by means of generalized Halanay inequalities, Dini＇s derivative and functional analysis techniques, several globally exponential stability criteria are established, which are only dependent on the parameters of the system.

Stabilization for multi-group coupled models stochastic by delay feedback control and nonlinear impulsive control are considered in this paper. Using graph theory and Lyapunov method, some sufficient conditions are acquired by some control methods. Those criteria are easier to verify and no need to solve any linear matrix inequalities. These results can be designed more easily in practice. At last, the effectiveness and advantage of the theoretical results are verified by an example.

To better reflect the psychological behavior characteristics of loss aversion,this paper builds a double reference point decision making method for dynamic multi-attribute decision-making(DMADM)problem,taking bottom-line and target as reference ***,the gain/loss function is given,and the state is divided according to the relationship between the gain/loss value and the reference ***,the attitude function is constructed based on the results of state division to establish the utility ***,the comprehensive utility value is calculated as the basis for alternatives classification and ***,the new method is used to evaluate the development level of smart *** results show that the new method can judge the degree to which the alternatives meet the requirements of the *** the new method can effectively screen out the unsatisfactory alternatives,the ranking results of other alternatives are consistent with those of traditional methods.

An effective spray drift-reducing method for a plant-protection unmanned aerial vehicle

A spraying system for a plant-protection unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)was designed to reduce spray drift.A custom low-speed wind tunnel was constructed to generate a wind speed ranging from 0 to 5.92 m/*** results showed that the wind speed was attenuated with an increase in *** compensate for the attenuation,a linear-fitting model was ***,the relationship between the spraying pressure and atomization rate was analyzed,and a fuzzy algorithm was adopted to adjust the spraying angle and pressure according to the wind speed and its changing ***,an evaluation of the proposed system in the compensated wind tunnel was conducted,and the drift distance was reduced by 33.7%compared with the system without adjustment of the spraying angle and pressure.

Analysis on Dynamic Characteristics in Time Domain of Slider with Ultra Thin Spacing

With increasing recording density in computer hard disks,the flying height of the magnetic head becomes 10 nm or *** numerical method of the control equations needs to be optimized consistently with the decrease of the flying *** iterative process is usually divergent with traditional methods which cannot ensure the accuracy of the analysis results and the stability of numerical ***,a new scheme is presented to solve the ultra-thin lubricating control equations in this *** equilibrium equation is obtained by taking the Couette flow terms and time term as dominating terms in iterative ***,the weighting flow factor is introduced for the abrupt change of film thickness in order to reduce calculated ***,the rules for variation of flying pose of the magnetic head with time are obtained by the time domain *** results show that the magnetic head can recover to the equilibrium position after being slightly influenced by outside *** the dynamic lubrication properties of the head suffer heavily from the vibrations in the height direction and fluctuation in the pitch ***,the analysis of the sine roughness-passing capacity of the head indicates that the head can surpass small sine waves and the equilibrium position can be retrieved after a period of decaying *** proposed research ensures the accuracy and stability of the numerical calculation of the control equations,and the dynamic characteristics and flying stability of a magnetic head is studied *** can also be the theoretical basis for the analysis of the flight characteristics of the slider.

A porous biochar supported nanoscale zero-valent iron material highly efficient for the simultaneous remediation of cadmium and lead contaminated soil

Risk associated with heavy metals in soil has been received widespread *** this study,a porous biochar supported nanoscale zero-valent iron(BC-nZVI)was applied to immobilize cadmium(Cd)and lead(Pb)in clayey *** results indicated that the immobilization of Cd or Pb by BC-nZVI process was better than that of BC or nZVI process,and about 80%of heavy metals immobilization was obtained in BC-nZVI *** of BC-nZVI could increase soil pH and organic matter(SOM).Cd or Pb immobilization was inhibited with coexisting organic compound 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP),but 2,4-DCP could be removed in a simultaneous manner with Cd or Pb immobilization at low concentration *** immobilization of Cd and Pb was achieved in BC-nZVI process,and both Cd and Pb availability significantly *** Cd species inculding Cd(OH)_(2),CdCO_(3)and CdO were formed,whereas stable Pb species such as PbCO_(3),PbO and Pb(OH)_(2)were produced with BC-nZVI *** immobilization mechanism of Cd and Pb in soil by BC-nZVI was thereby *** study well demonstrates that BC-nZVI has been emerged as a potential technology for the remediation of multiple heavy metals in soil.

The plasticizer is an important polymer material ***-toxic and environmentally friendly plasticizers are developed recently in order to decrease fossil fuel reserves,serious environmental pollution and the toxicity of phthalate *** this study,a new,efficient and environmentally friendly plasticizer of hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester was prepared by an esterification reaction of hydrogenated rosin and *** influences of different reaction conditions(including different catalysts,the catalyst concentration,the ratio of the reactants,reaction temperature,and reaction time)on the esterification yield are examined and *** rosin dodecyl ester with 71.8%yield was synthesized under the optimized reaction conditions(1:0.8 molar ratio of rosin to dodecanol,1 mol%tetrabutyl titanate concentration,and 210℃for 6 h).The esterification reaction is a second-order reaction,and kinetic calculations showed that the activation energy is 39.77 KJ·mol^(−1).The structure of the hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester was confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopy and^(13)C NMR ***,the thermal stability of target product(hydrogenated rosin dodecyl ester)was also tested by thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),which showed a good thermal stability.

Physiological Dynamics and Transcriptomic Analysis of Cut Roses‘Carola’Treated with KNO_(3)

The consumption of cut roses(Rosa hybrida)has always ranked first in the ***,it is vulnerable to rapid petal and leaf wilting due to leaf stomatal water loss,which seriously affects its ornamental quality and economic *** movement,a key in plant physiological processes,is influenced by potassium and *** comprehension of its physiological and molecular mechanism holds promise for preserving the freshness of cut *** study observed the impacts of different concentrations of KNO_(3) vase treatments on stomatal opening and water loss in cut rose‘Carola’leaves,as well as their transcriptional responses to KNO_(3).Water loss rates were influenced by KNO_(3) concentrations,with the 25 and 75 mmol/L treatments exhibiting the highest water loss *** stomatal aperture reached its widest value when treated with 75 mmol/L KNO_(3).Transcriptional sequencing analysis was performed to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs)of which 5456 were up-regulated,and 6607 were down-regulated associated with photosynthesis,starch and sucrose metabolism,metabolic pathways,plant-pathogen interaction,plant hormone signal transduction,and related pathways.246 DEGs were selected related to response to KNO_(3) treatment,of which gene ontology(GO)enrichment were nitrate and terpenoid metabolism,ion transport,and response to *** heatmap analysis revealed that several genes related to nitrate transport a metabolism,K+transport,vacuoles,and aquaporin were in close association with the response to KNO_(3) *** gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)revealed that hub genes,including LAX2,TSJT1,and SCPL34 were identified in turquoise,black,and darkgreen *** factors such as NAC021,CDF3,ERF053,ETR2,and ARF6 exhibited regulatory roles in the response to KNO_(3) treatment under light *** findings provide valuable insights into the physiological and molecular mechanisms underlying the response of cu

Convective Heat Transfer of Molten Salt in Receiver Tube with Axially and Circumferentially Non-Uniform Heat Flux

Convective heat transfer characteristics of molten salt in receiver tube under axially and circumferentially non-uniform(ACN)heat flux were experimentally investigated under Reynolds number of 16000 to 58000 and Prandtl number of 4.6 to *** results showed that flow rate,flow direction and non-uniform heat flux directly affected molten salt *** coating thickness and flow velocity increased,the difference of outer wall temperature in coating side and molten salt temperature *** average Nusselt number in entrance section was larger than that in middle and end sections for higher Prandtl *** axial wall temperature difference in coating side with counter-flow heating was lower than that with parallel-flow heating,and receiver tube with counter-flow heating will cause smaller axial thermal *** experiment measurement and Sieder-Tate correlation,heat transfer correlation of molten salt in tube under ACN heat flux was obtained by using circumferential heat flux ratio and axial heat flux ratio,and it fit with experimental data with maximum deviation of 5%.
