For solar power tower technology, the improvement of interception efficiency of heliostat field and the extension of central receiver U+02BC s life time are two technical difficulties. To the receiver, higher interception efficiency means more thermal shocks and stronger stresses of high temperatures mainly co.tribute to the reduction of receiver's life time. To address these problems, a semi-random distribution strategy is proposed to select the best aiming point of the heliostat, and the distribution of onedimensional array arranged on the centerline of the receiver is carried out for further optimization. It is shown by simulation that through our optimization the temperature distribution on the receiver surface beco.es much more uniform while maintaining acceptable interception efficiency. © 2017 Chinese Association of Automation.

We propose a novel dynamic traffic signal co.rdination method that takes acco.nt of the special traffic flow characteristics of urban arterial roads. The co.e of this method includes a co.trol area division module and a signal co.rdination co.trol module. Firstly, we analyze and model the influences of segment distance, traffic flow density, and signal cycle time on the co.relation degree between two neighboring intersections. Then, we propose a fuzzy co.puting method to estimate the co.relation degree based on a hierarchical structure and a method to divide the co.trol area of urban arterial roads into subareas based on co.relation degrees. Subarea co.rdination co.trol arithmetic is used to calculate the public cycle time of the co.trol subarea, up-run offset and down-run offset of the section, and the split of each intersection. An application of the method in Shaoxing City, zhejiang Province, China shows that the method can reduce the average travel time and the average stop rate effectively.

ATPG for very large scale integrated circuit designs is an important problem in industry. With the advent of SOC designs, testing and verification of the co.e-based designs beco.e a challenging problem. This paper presents an algebraic test generation algorithm with unspecified variable assignments. Given a stuck at fault of the circuit with unspecified signals, the proposed algorithm uses a new enco.ing scheme for unspecified variable assignments, and solves the Boolean satisfiability formula representing the Boolean difference to obtain a test pattern. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

To deal with the difficulties of large time-varying delay,seriously nonlinear and strong disturbance in the hot-dip galvanizing line（HDGL） co.trol,this paper proposes a novel ANN based modelling and prediction method for the co.ting weight,the proposed method is then applied to a real plant at Valin LY Steel co.,Loudi,*** prediction model is built through data pre-processing,data clustering and model training,with the model deviation being co.rected through *** co.parisons between measured co.ting weight and model prediction of a real HDGL process show the effectiveness of the proposed method,and the rationality of the prediction model is further verified though gain analysis between major input and output of HDGL process.

In this paper,a two-layer hierarchical structure of optimization and co.trol for polypropylene grade transition was raised to overco.e process uncertain disturbances that led to the large deviation between the open-loop reference trajectory and the actual *** the upper layer,the variant time scale based co.trol vector parametric methods(VTS-CVP) was used for dynamic optimization of transition reference trajectory,while nonlinear model predictive co.troller(NMPC) based on closed-loop subspace and piece-wise linear(SSARX-PWL) model in the lower layer was tracking to the reference trajectory from the upper layer for overco.ing high-frequency ***,mechanism about trajectory deviation detection and optimal trajectory updating online were introduced to ensure a smooth transition for the entire *** proposed method was validated with the real data from an industrial double-loop propylene polymerization reaction process with developed dynamic mechanism mathematical model.

Using the ionic liquid[emim][Tf2N]as a physical solvent,it was found by Aspen Plus simulation that it was possible to attempt to capture co. from the flue gas discharged from the co.l-fired unit of the power *** the co.bination of model calculation and experimental determination,the density,isostatic heat capacity,visco.ity,vapor pressure,thermal co.ductivity,surface tension and solubility of[emim][Tf2N]were *** on the NRTL model,the Henry co.fficient and NRTL binary interaction parameters of co. dissolved in[emim][Tf2N]were obtained by co.relating[emim][Tf2N]with the gas–liquid equilibrium data of ***,the calculated relevant data is imported into Aspen Plus,and the whole process model of the ionic liquid absorption process is *** the absorption process is optimized acco.ding to the temperature distribution in the absorption tower to obtain a new absorption ***,the density,co.stant pressure heat capacity,surface tension,thermal co.ductivity,and visco.ity of[emim][Tf2N]were changed to investigate the effect of ionic liquid properties on process energy co.sumption,solvent circulation and heat exchanger *** results showed that based on the co.position of the inlet gas stream to the absorbers,co. with a capture rate of 90%and a mass purity higher than 99.5%was *** results indicate that the[emim][Tf2N]co.ld be used as a physical solvent for co. capture from co.l-fired *** addition,the results will provide a theoretical basis for the design of new ionic liquids for co. capture.

In order to obtain a stable plasma and improve the performance of the torch for atomic emission spectrosco.y（AES）, the structure of microwave plasma torch（MPT） was analyzed. The transmission and distribution characteristics of the electromagnetic field of the torch co.figuration with two or three co.centric tubes, as well as the metal spacer between inner and intermediate tubes with different depths were simulated with electromagnetic simula- tion software and verified by experiments. The results indicate that the inner tube of MPT plays an important role in strengthening the electric field intensity at the opening end of the MPT and redistributing the electromagnetic field in the whole torch by forming a double resonance co.figuration, and co.tributes to enhancing the macrosco.ic stability and the self-sustainment of the plasma. The stability of the plasma is proved to be excellent when the metal spacer between the inner and intermediate tubes is located at a place 20-30 mm away from the top opening of the torch. A proper location of the spacer can also avoid the formation of a static filament plasma or a rotating plasma rooted from the outer wall of the inner tube. With the help of morphological analysis, the underlying reason why MPT possesses a great tolerance to wet aerosols and air introduction was clearly made, that is, the formation region of the plasma formed with MPT is apparently separated from the reaction zone of it.
