Photothermal catalytic CO2hydrogenation is an effective means of utilizing carbon ***,it is severely limited in terms of kinetics and ***,it is necessary to meticulously design catalysts to solve this ***,a sandwich structured NiO@InNi/In2O3is designed to intrinsically regulate the direction of photogenerated carriers transfer,resulting in a CO yield of 42.97 mmol g-1h-1(1290.3μmol h-1) with a selectivity near to 100%.InNi alloy favors the collection of photogenerated carriers by the parallel way and enhancement of the adsorption and activation of *** grown on the surface of InNi alloy not only improves the adsorption of H2and provides sufficient H+for the reaction,but also makes InNi alloy more stable during the reaction *** photothermal effect caused by In2O3accelerates the transfer of photogenerated carriers and increases the surface temperature of the catalyst,thereby synergistically promoting the reaction from a kinetic *** work ameliorates the kinetic and thermodynamic limitations of the photothermal catalytic CO2hydrogenation process through rationally designing the electron transfer direction of the sandwich structured catalysts to parallel way.

Metal recovery from bottom ash was deemed to be significant to achieve a higher stability of bottom ash and recycle valuable extractable *** China,the existing rugged industrial production ignores the actual metal distribution and thus fails to exploit the utilization potential of recoverable metals in bottom *** on these findings,this work was proposed to obtain a comprehensive and in-depth study on the recoverability of metals in bottom ***,the particle size distribution and elemental composition of the bottom ash were ***,complete information on the recoverable metals in bottom ash fractions with different sizes was obtained by washing,sorting,crushing,density separation and XRF(X Ray Fluorescence)*** results showed that the smaller than 5 mm fraction accounted for up to 60%of the bottom ash,and the 5–20 mm fractions accounted for about 15%.The material characterization revealed that the contents of recoverable Fe,stainless steel,Al and Cu in bottom ash were averagely 9.01%,0.136%,0.78%and 0.08%,*** 50%of Fe,68%of Al,61%of Cu,and 22%of stainless steel were distributed in smaller than 10 mm ***,Fe was evenly distributed among 0–2 mm,2–5 mm,5–10 mm fractions,and the content was between 5.41%and 7.5%.Non-magnetic stainless steel was mainly distributed in 20–40 mm and larger than 40 mm *** highest share of Al was present in the fractions between 5 mm and 20 mm,accounting for 48%of the total *** 45.6%of the Cu was enriched in the 5–10 mm ***,the Zn content was less than 0.01%.This work provides an in-depth understanding and information on metal recovery as well as promisingly guide ash utilization.

The potential risk assessment for different arsenic species in the aquatic environment

The different toxicity characteristics of arsenic species result in discrepant ecological *** predicted no-effect concentrations（PNECs） 43.65, 250.18, and 2.00 × 10^3μg/L were calculated for As（III）, As（V）, and dimethylarsinic acid in aqueous phase, respectively. With these PNECs, the ecological risk from arsenic species in Pearl River Delta in China and Kwabrafo stream in Ghana was evaluated. It was found that the risk from As（III） and As（V）in the samples from Pearl River Delta was low, while much high in Kwabrafo stream. This study implies that ecological risk of arsenic should be evaluated basing on its species.

Mercury（Hg） exists in different chemical forms presenting varied toxic potentials. It is necessary to explore an ecological risk assessment method for different mercury species in aquatic environment. The predicted no-effect concentrations（PNECs） for Hg（Ⅱ） and methyl mercury（Me Hg） in the aqueous phase, calculated using the species sensitivity distribution method and the assessment factor method, were 0.39 and 6.5 × 10-3μg/L, respectively. The partition theory of Hg between sediment and aqueous phases was considered, along with PNECs for the aqueous phase to conduct an ecological risk assessment for Hg in the sediment phase. Two case studies, one in China and one in the Western Black Sea, were conducted using these PNECs. The toxicity of mercury is heavily dependent on their forms,and their potential ecological risk should be respectively evaluated on the basis of mercury species.

Humic acid(HA)is a typical refractory organicmatter,so it is of great significance to investigate its effect on the performance of Anammox granular *** the dosage ofHA≤50 mg/L,HA promotes the total nitrogen removal rate(NRR)to 1.45 kg/(m^(3)·day).When HA was between 50 and 100 mg/L,the NRR of Anammox was *** this time,the adsorption of HA causes the sludge to gradually turn fromred to brown,but the activities of heme and enzymes showed that its capacitywas not *** HA levels reached 250 mg/L,the NRR dropped to 0.11 kg/(m^(3)·day).Moderate HA levels promoted the release of extracellular polymeric substance(EPS),but excessive HA levels lead to a decrease in EPS *** inhibited Anammox activity,which indirectly hindered the transmission of substrate and accumulated substrate *** HA promoted the increase of heterotrophicmicrobial abundance in Anammox system,the microbial diversity decreased *** the increase of HA concentration,the abundance of Candidatus_Brocadia,the main functional microorganism of Anammox system,decreased gradually,while the abundance of Candidatus_Kuenenia increased gradually.

The utilization of traffic information received from intelligent vehicle highway systems(IVHS) to plan velocity and split output power for multi-source vehicles is currently a research hotspot. However, it is an open issue to plan vehicle velocity and distribute output power between different supply units simultaneously due to the strongly coupling characteristic of the velocity planning and the power distribution. To address this issue, a flexible predictive power-split control strategy based on IVHS is proposed for electric vehicles(EVs) equipped with battery-supercapacitor system(BSS). Unlike hierarchical strategies to plan vehicle velocity and distribute output power separately, a monolayer model predictive control(MPC) method is employed to optimize them online at the same time. Firstly, a flexible velocity planning strategy is designed based on the signal phase and time(SPAT) information received from IVHS and then the Pontryagin’s minimum principle(PMP) is adopted to formulate the optimal control problem of the BSS. Then, the flexible velocity planning strategy and the optimal control problem of BSS are embedded into an MPC framework, which is online solved using the shooting method in a fashion of receding horizon. Simulation results verify that the proposed strategy achieves a superior performance compared with the hierarchical strategy in terms of transportation efficiency, battery capacity loss, energy consumption and computation time.

Performances of biological aerated filter employing hollow fiber membrane segments of surface-improved poly(sulfone) as biofilm carriers

Using the surface of poly （sulfone） hollow fiber membrane segments as grafted layer, the hydrophilic acrylamide chain was grafted on by UV-photoinduced grafting polymerization. The gained improvement of surface wettability for the modified membrane was tested by measuring the contact-angle as well as FTIR spectra. Then correlation between the hydrophilic ability of support material and the biofilm adherence ability was demonstrated by comparing the pollutant removal rates from urban wastewater via two identical lab-scale up-flow biological aerated filters, one employed the surface wettability modified poly （sulfone） hollow fiber membrane segment as biofilm carder and the other employed unmodified membrane segment as biofilm carder. The experimental results showed that under the conditions of influent flux 5 L/h, hydraulic retention time 9 h and gas to liquid ratio （G/L） 10： 1, the removal rates of chemical oxygen demand （COD） and ammonium nitrogen （NH4^＋-N） for the modified packing filter and the unmodified packing filter was averaged at 83.64% and 96.25%, respectively, with the former filter being 5%-20% more than the latter. The effluent concentration of COD, NH4^＋-N and turbidity for the modified packing filter was 25.25 mg/L, 2 mg/L and 8 NTU, respectively. Moreover, the ammonium nitrogen removal performance of the filter packing the modified PSF was compared with the other bioreactor packing of an efficient floating medium. The biomass test indicated that the modified membrane matrixes provided better specific adhesion （3310-5653 mg TSS/L support）, which gave a mean of 1000 mg TSS/L more than the unmodified membrane did. In addition, the phenomenon of simultaneous denitrification on the inner surface of the support and nitrification on the outer surface was found in this work.

In this paper we first determine three phases of cell images： background, cytoplasm and nucleolus according to the general physical characteristics of cell images, and then develop a variational model, based on these characteristics, to segment nucleolus and cytoplasm from their relatively complicated backgrounds. In the meantime, the preprocessing obtained information of cell images using the OTSU algorithm is used to initialize the level set function in the model, which can speed up the segmentation and present satisfactory results in cell image processing.

A new method named rotating extrusion was developed to mitigate residual distortion of thin-plate weldments. The basic principle and characteristic of rotating extrusion as well as an efficient rotating extrusion device were introduced. Systematic trials were conducted to investigate the influence of several technological parameters including the distance between the extrusion tool and welding torch, the pressure acting on weldment, the dimension of the extrusion tool and its rotational speed on distortion control effect. Experimental results show that, as for 2A12T4 aluminum alloy weldment with 2 mm in thickness, 150 mm in width and 350 mm in length, when appropriate technological parameters are adopted, rotating extrusion can reduce its buckling deflection to below 3% of the original value. Implementing rotating extrusion during welding with an extrusion tool more than 100 mm away from the welding torch may achieve better distortion mitigation effect.
