Different lymph node staging systems for predicting the prognosis of colorectal neuroendocrine neoplasms

BACKGROUND Colorectal neuroendocrine neoplasms(NENs)are a rare malignancy that primarily arises from the diffuse distribution of neuroendocrine cells in the colon and *** studies have pointed out that the status of lymph node may be used to predict the *** To investigate the predictive values of lymph node ratio(LNR),positive lymph node(PLN),and log odds of PLNs(LODDS)staging systems on the prognosis of colorectal NENs treated surgically,and compare their predictive *** This cohort study included 895 patients with colorectal NENs treated surgically from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results *** endpoint was mortality of patients with colorectal NENs treated surgically.X-tile software was utilized to identify most suitable thresholds for categorizing the LNR,PLN,and *** were selected in a random manner to form training and testing *** prognosis of surgically treating colorectal NENs was examined using multivariate cox analysis to assess the associations of LNR,PLN,and LODDS with the prognosis of colorectal NENs.C-index was used for assessing the predictive *** conducted a subgroup analysis to explore the different lymph node staging systems’predictive *** After adjusting all confounding factors,PLN,LNR and LODDS staging systems were linked with mortality in patients with colorectal NENs treated surgically(P<0.05).We found that LODDS staging had a higher prognostic value for patients with colorectal NENs treated surgically than PLN and LNR staging *** results were obtained in the different G staging subgroup ***,the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve values for LODDS staging system remained consistently higher than those of PLN or LNR,even at the 1-,2-,3-,4-,5-and 6-year follow-up *** LNR,PLN,and LODDS were found to significantly predict the prognosis of patients with colorectal NENs treated surgically.

On the current breeding goose farm,the detection of individual egg laying mainly depends on some judgement experiences of farm *** present,there have been some egg laying detection systems developed with images and weighing sensors,which only signal the eggs being laid,but no egg position being ***,the detection rate of the system is not high due to environment limitations like dim light of the goose ***,to solve these problems mentioned above,an intelligent detection and positioning system is pro-posed by integrating technologies of the Radio Frequency(RF)and photoelectric sensors,together with the geometric calculation *** this research,individual egg laying information of breeding geese in a non-cage state was examined to improve the level of auto-matic detection and positioning in the field of breeder egg *** results showed that an accurate detection and positioning of an egg in a nest filled with the artificial turf could be achieved under some conditions:the height of sensor is 3.5 cm from the bottom plate of the egg laying nest,the spacing of the photoresistor module is 5 cm,and the external light intensity is less than 110 *** also shown that the error of the goose egg position recognition is 0.443 cm with a suitable level of straw in the ***,the monitoring system and positioningmethod that was developed in this research could provide a reference for the analysis of individual egg laying behavior,and could result in an improvement in the automatic egg collection for the breeding geese production.

A New 1D Cadmium Coordination Polymer Based on N- and O-donor Ligands: Synthesis, Structure and Luminescent property

One new cadmium coordination polymer, [Cd（nbdc）（dmpy）]n （1, H2nbdc = 2-nitro- terephthalic acid, dmpy = 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine） has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis （TGA）, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is of monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 11.7684（9）, b = 24.3715（19）, c = 13.9898（11） , β = 107.652（2）°, V = 3823.5（5） 3, C20H15N3O6Cd, Z = 8, Mr = 505.75, Dc = 1.757 g/cm3, μ（MoKα） = 1.187 mm-1, F（000） = 2016, the final R = 0.0207 and wR = 0.0560 for 3034 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. 1 exhibits an interesting one-dimensional double chain structure. Furthermore, the luminescent property of 1 has also been investigated.

Architecture modification and In^(3+)-doping of WO_(3) photoanodes to boost the photoelectrochemical water oxidation performance

WO_(3) photoanodes have been widely utilized for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in the photoelectrochemical water splitting ***,the effects of hydrazine hydrate modification and In^(3+)-doping on the physicochemical properties and photocurrent density of the WO_(3) photoanode prepared by hydrothermally treating at 160℃followed by calcining at 500℃are *** them,the hydrazine hydrate in the hydrothermal solution can serve as a texture regulator,resulting in the formation of WO_(3) films with the layered architecture stacked by nanosheets dominantly exposed(020)facets,which allows the WO_(3) films to have faster charge separation and larger specific surface area for OER according to the characterization results of microstructures and photoelectrochemcial behaviors;while the In^(3+)-doping can optimize the energy band structure of WO_(3) and adjust the work function to increase the driving force of OER based on the ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy,Mott–Schottky and open-circuit photovoltage *** the simulated sunlight(AM1.5G)illumination,the designed In^(3+)–WO_(3)(N_2H_4)photoanode in Na_2SO_4 solution delivers amaximum incident photon-to-current efficiency of 38.6%at 410 nm and a photocurrent density of 1.93 mA cm^(-2)at 1.23 V ***,which is 2.8 and 3.0 times higher than the pristine WO_(3) photoanode,*** study provides a promising strategy to improve the water splitting performance of nanostructured WO_(3) photoanodes by altering the architecture and introducing heteroatoms.

A Novel Regeneration Method of Cu(0)-deposited TiO_2 Photocatalytic Film:Air-assisted Electrochemical Oxidation

A rapid deactivation of TiO2 film was observed in the process of the photocatalytic degradation of formic acid in the presence of Cu(II) due to the deposition of Cu(0). A novel regeneration method, air-assisted electrooxidation, could efficiently retrieve the photocatalytic activity of the deact ivated film. HNO3 medium has a regeneration extent of 97.2% for first run, much higher than that of HCl and H2SO4 mediums.

Pd nanocluster-decorated CoFe composite supported on nitrogen carbon nanotubes as a high-performance trifunctional electrocatalyst

Rational design and synthesis of low-cost trifunctional electrocatalysts with improved stability and superior electrocatalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) are highly desirable but remain as the bottlenecks at the current state of *** this paper,the cobalt-iron(Co-Fe) composite supported on nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes(CoFe composite/NCNTs) is *** intrinsic OER and HER catalytic activities of this CoFe composite/NCNTs composite are significantly improved with palladium(Pd) nanocluster decoration [Pd-coated(CoFe composite/NCNTs)].The as-prepared Pd-coated(CoFe composite/NCNTs) catalyst exhibits excellent trifunctional electrocatalytic activity and stability due to the interfacial coupling between Pd and(CoFe composite/NCNTs).This catalyst is successfully employed in the water electrolysis cell as both OER and HER electrode catalysts,flexible rechargeable Zn-air battery as the bifunctional ORR and OER electrode *** cell voltage of this catalyst-coated electrodes requires only 1.60 V to achieve 10 mA cm^(-2) current density for water electrolysis cell,which is comparable to and even better than that of Pt/C and Ir/C based *** primary Zn-air battery using this catalyst shows a constant high open-circuit voltage(OCV) of 1.47 V and a maximum power density of 261 mW cm^(-2) in the flooded mode *** importantly,a flexible Zn-air battery with this catalyst runs very smoothly without a change in voltage gap during flat,bending,and twisting positions.

Reliability of a Multicomponent Stress-strength Model Based on a Bivariate Kumaraswamy Distribution with Censored Data

Acupuncture for ischemic stroke:cerebellar activation may be a central mechanism following Deqi

The needling sensation of Deqi during acupuncture is a key factor of influencing acupuncture *** studies have mainly focused on the brain function effects of Deqi in a physiological *** magnetic resonance imaging（f MRI）on the effects of acupuncture at Waiguan（SJ5）in pathological and physiological states is *** this study,12 patients with ischemic stroke received acupuncture at Waiguan（SJ5）and simultaneously underwent f MRI scanning of the brain,with imaging data of the activated areas *** on the patient＇s sensation,imaging data were allocated to either the Deqi group or non-Deqi *** the Deqi group,the activated/deactivated areas were the left superior temporal gyrus（BA39）/right anterior lobe of the cerebellum and left *** the non-Deqi group,the activated areas included the medial frontal gyrus of the right frontal lobe（BA11）,right limbic lobe（BA30,35）,and left frontal lobe（BA47）,while the only deactivated area was the right parietal lobe（BA40）.Compared with the non-Deqi group,the Deqi group exhibited marked activation of the right anterior lobe of the cerebellum and right limbic lobe（BA30）.These findings confirm that the clinical effect of Deqi during acupuncture is based on brain functional *** activation may be one of the central mechanisms of acupuncture in the treatment of ischemic stroke.

Coordination Skills during Vitrectomy in Treatment of Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy

Purpose: To discuss effective nursing and coordination skills for vitrectomy in the treatment of diabetic ***: Fifty patients(51 eyes) with diabetic retinopathy required vitrectomy were enrolled in this study. Individual nursing service was delivered by strengthening preoperative preparation, providing psychological nursing, and intraoperative observation of the severity of diseases by circulating nurses; meticulous nursing was given ***: All 50 patients underwent surgery successfully. Intraoperatively, patients had stable physical signs. Five patients had postoperative visual acuity0.3. No complicated infection was ***: For patients diagnosed with proliferative diabetic retinopathy requiring vitrectomy, full preparations should be made and psychological nursing should be delivered preoperatively, the severity of diseases and clinical reactions should be closely observed intraoperatively, and proper processing and nursing measures should be taken postoperatively, which collectively enhance surgical success rate, decrease surgical complications, and attain favorable treatment efficacy.
