The commercialized binder carboxymethyl cellulose sodium(CMC-Na)is considered unsuitable for micro-sized SiO_(x) anode as it cannot endure the large volume change to retain the conductive network during repeated charge/discharge ***,a small amount of silicon nanoparticles(SiNPs)is added during slurry preparation process as“nano-combs”to unfold the convoluted CMC-Na polymer chains so that they undergo a coilto-stretch transition by interaction between polar groups(e.g.,-OH,-COONa)of polymer and SiNPs’large *** maximizing the utilization of binders,a uniform conductive network is constructed with increased interfacial contact with micro-sized SiO_(x).As a result,the SiO_(x) electrode with optimized(10 wt%)SiNPs addition shows significantly improved initial capacity and cycling *** revisiting CMCNa,a currently deemed unqualified binder in SiO_(x) anode,this work gives a brand-new perspective on the failing mechanism of Si-based anode materials and an improving strategy for electrode preparation.

AIM: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of high-dose Vitamin C (Vit. C) on acute pancreatitis (AP), and to explore its potential ***: Eghty-four AP patients were divided into treatment group and control group, 40 healthy subjects were taken as a normal group. In the treatment group,Vit. C (10 g/day) was given intravenously for 5 days,whereas in the control group, Vit. C (1 g/day) was given intravenously for 5 days. Symptoms, physical signs, duration of hospitalization, complications and mortality rate were monitored. Meanwhile, serum amylase, urine amylase and leukocyte counts were also determined. The concentration of plasma vitamin C (P-VC), plasma lipid peroxide (P-LPO),plasma vitamin E (P-VE), plasma β-carotene (P-13-CAR),whole blood glutathione (WB-GSH) and the activity of erythrocyte surperoxide dimutase (E-SOD) and erythrocyte catalase (E-CAT) as well as T lymphocyte phenotype were measured by spectrophotometry in the normal group and before and after treatment with Vit. C in the treatment and the control ***: Compared with the normal group, the average values of P-VC, P-VE, P-β-CAR, WB-GSH and the activity of E-SOD and E-CAT in AP patients were significantly decreased and the average value of P-LPO was significantly increased, especially in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) patients (P<0.05. P-VC, P=0.045; P-VE, P=0.038; P=0.041;P-β-CAR, P=0.046; WB-GSH, P=0.039; E-SOD, P=0.019;E-CAT, P =0.020; P-LPO, P =0.038). Compared with the normal group, CD3 and CD4 positive cells in AP patients were significantly decreased. The ratio of CD4/CD8 and CD4 positive cells were decreased, especially in SAP patients (P<0.05. CD4/CD8, P =0.041; CD4, P =0.019). Fever and vomiting disappeared, and leukocyte counts and amylase in urine and blood become normal quicker in the treatment group than in the control group. In order to optimize test flow after the default flow is modified by a tester, a new software framework for the radar fault isolation is illustrated. This framework separates all mapping algorithms from test flows so as to modify flow and to insert mapping algorithm dynamically in testing process. Based on this framework, a kind of optimization method of test flow is proposed and studied. By defining an objective function, we can evaluate all candidate test flows so as to get an optimized flow. An example explains how to search the flow from candidate flows.

ZnO particles doped with 0 mol%-5 mol% Cd dopant were successfully synthesized by a precipitation *** as-synthesized products were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),X-ray diffraction(XRD),photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM) coupled with an energydispersive X-ray(EDX) spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The precursors showed weight loss at 35-700℃ caused by phase transformation and evaporation *** as-synthesized products were specified as hexagonal wurtzite *** crystallite size of ZnO samples doped with 0 mol%-5 mol% Cd gradually increased with the increase in Cd *** photocatalytic activities of 0 mol%-5 mol% Cd-doped ZnO samples were evaluated through photodecolorization of methylene blue(MB) under ultraviolet(UV) *** this research,ZnO doped with 3 mol% Cd shows the best photocatalytic activity in degrading of MB molecules as much as 89% within 240 min.

The effect of nozzle geometry on sonic line and characteristics of supersonic air jet was studied. Computational fluid dynamics was applied in this study. The axisymmetric nozzle geometries investigated were two different contour converging nozzles, two different conically converging sharp-edged nozzles and a sharp-edged orifice. The results show that the supersonic jet structure, sonic line and streamlines in supersonic jet are strongly influenced by the nozzle geometry, and the total pressure loss increases with the increase of Mach disk diameter. The present numerical simulation is an effective tool to evaluate compressible flows in supersonic air jet.
