[Objectives] This study aimed to co.pare the effects of water-fertilizer integrated drip irrigation modes and traditional fertilization mode on growth,yield,production co.ts and eco.omic benefit of sugarcane in latosolic red soil of Guangxi. [Methods]A field test was co.ducted. [Results] The agronomic traits and co.prehensive eco.omic benefit of sugarcane under the water-fertilizer integrated drip irrigation modes were superior to those under the traditional fertilization mode. Among them,the co.prehensive eco.omic benefit of sugarcane with special granular fertilizer as the base fertilizer and water-fertilizer integrated drip irrigation as topdressing were the highest,increased by 15 813 kg/ha,an increase of 15. 8%. co.sidering the co.t input,the co.prehensive eco.omic benefit increased by 5 676 yuan/ha. [co.clusions]Taking the production co.t,eco.omic benefit and input-output ratio into acco.nt,it is reco.mended to promote the application of water-fertilizer integrated drip irrigation mode in bases with water and fertilizer equipment co.ditions.

L-arabinose is a newly developed low-caloric monosaccharide, which has many biomedical and health effects, especially intestinal sucrase inhibition effect. L-arabinose is mainly produced by chemical or enzymatic hydrolysis of hemicellulose. The taste of L-arabinose is quite similar to that of sucrose, with approximately 50% of the sweetness. As a functional additive, L-arabinose can be used in medical and pharmaceutical applications for the treatment of diseases such as diabetes, chronic co.stipation, mineral absorption disorder and seco.dary bile acid formation disorder. However, L-arabinose has not been widely used in functional foods due to high price and lack of publicity and guidance. A co.prehensive review of L-arabinose physico.hemical properties, production, applications field, market statue and development direction is presented in this paper.

Endovascular repair of the thoracic aorta with self-expanding stent-grafts has been emerging as a less invasive alternative treatment co.pared with co.ventional open *** the promising efficacy and safety of endovascular stent grafting,the stent-graft failure remains a major co.cern in terms of stent migration,device fatigue,and the risk of *** associated with the stent-grafts involve optimized geometrical structure,lifetime fatigue resistance,and adequate radial *** this work,a novel endovascular stent-graft system is developed specially for the treatment of Stanford type B thoracic aortic dissections(TAD).Numerical study with finite element analysis(FEA)was utilized to evaluate the mechanical behaviors of the individual stent *** of the simulation were validated by experimental *** on the systematic analysis of the parametric variations,a final stent-graft system was developed by the selection and arrangement of the individual stent co.ponents,targeting an optimal performance for treatment of *** optimized solution of the stent-graft system was tested in clinical trials,showing advantageous therapeutic efficacy.

co.plicated changes are happening during the aging process of flue-cured tobacco.（FCT） and understanding of the changing co.ponents is of great significance in improving the quality,shortening aging time,and enhancing production and eco.omic efficiency in tobacco.*** aging samples of FCT from four main producing areas of China,i.e.,Yunnan,Sichuan,Hubei,and Dongbei,were used to study the changing rule of the co.ponents such as alkali,acid,and carbohydrate as well as the aroma and their relationship with sensory quality;and based on the co.relation among the co.ponents and the sensory quality index,multivariable models were established to predict the aging *** results showed that the sensory quality of FCT increased steadily during the aging time,and at the same time,the acidic co.ponents （total organic acids,volatile acids） increased gradually,while the alkaline substances （nico.ine,volatile alkali）,carbohydrate （total sugars,reducing sugar） and pH values showed a downward *** analysis found that the sensory quality and pH values were negatively co.related （P0.05）,while the sensory quality with total organic acids and aroma were positively *** optimal model for predicting the quality of FCT was y=56.75-0.63x12＋50.09x2-13.27x22,（y：sensory quality;x1：pH;x2：total organic acids）.The average predicating error was 1.04% with maximum predicating error of 2.89% and the accuracy rate of above 97%.

The effects of dietary inclusion of sugar syrup on quality of egg,cholesterol level,production performance,serum total protein and blood biochemical parameters were evaluated in laying hens.A total of300 co.mercial Lohmann LSL hens(30 weeks of age) were randomly distributed into 3 dietary treatments which co.sisted of a normal co.n diet co.taining co.nesoy and 2 diets co.taining 5% and 10%sugar *** treatment was replicated 5 times(n=20).Egg production,feed intake,body weight and egg weight of laying hens fed different diets were *** experiment lasted for 20 *** Haugh unit sco.es of hens fed diets with sugar syrup were significantly increased(P co.pared with the co.trol *** sugar syrup had no significant effect on liver enzymes,total protein,blood gluco.e and creatinine in all *** eggs laid by hens fed sugar syrup diets had lower cholesterol level(P co.pared with those laid by hens fed the co.trol *** analysis showed that co.parable electrophoretic patterns were noticed between serum proteins of treatment *** the results,it can be co.cluded that sugar syrup diets and co.n diets have similar effects on feed intake,body weight,production of eggs and blood biochemical parameters in layer hens,which suggests sugar syrup can be used as an energy source for replacing part of co.n in poultry layer diets.

Background:Simiaowan(SMW),a well-known traditional Chinese medicine,has been employed to treat hyperuricemia(HUA)and gout for ***,the bioactive co.ponents and underlying mechanisms have not been *** objective of this study was to identify the active co.ponents and potential mechanisms of SMW by integrating pharmaco.ogical experimentation,serum pharmaco.hemistry,network pharmaco.ogy and molecular ***:HUA rats modelling by high-fat/high-sugar diet and potassium oxonate/adenine oral administration were used to evaluate the pharmaco.ynamic effects of ***-Q-Exactive-MS/MS was employed to detect the bioactive co.ponents present in SMW-co.taining *** pharmaco.ogy and molecular docking were utilized to elucidate the potential targets and underlying ***:SMW effectively ameliorated HUA rats via the inhibition of uric acid(UA)production,promotion of UA excretion,improvement of lipid and gluco.e metabolic abnormalities,antioxidant,anti-inflammatory and anti-insulin resistance effects.A total of 73 co.pounds detected in SMW-co.taining serum were identified as potential active co.ponents,with alkaloids,flavonoids,organic acids,and terpenoids emerging as the primary active *** 203 co.responding targets were obtained as SMW anti-HUA/gout targets,which mainly participated in apoptosis,insulin resistance,TNF,PI3K-Akt,HIF-1,NF-κB,MAPK,IL-17 and TLR signaling *** docking indicated that active co.pounds(***,phellodendrine,quercetin,formononetin,ferulic acid)had superior binding abilities to the key targets(*** carrier family 22 member 12(URAT1),solute carrier family 22 member 6(OAT1),ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member 2(ABCG2),solute carrier family 2,facilitated gluco.e transporter member 9(GLUT9),xanthine dehydrogenase/oxidase(XDH),transcription factor p65(RELA),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),prostaglandin G/H synthase 2(PTGS2),caspase-3(CASP3),insulin(INS)).co.clusion:S

Dietary energy for chickens normally includes cereal grains and fat. This innovative study investigated the effect of replacing part of the co.n and fat in broiler chicken rations with graded levels of sugar syrup on growth performance and biochemical parameters. Experimental treatments co.sisted of feeding a co.n-soy basal diet alone, or with graded levels of sugar syrup in increments of 5%, 10% and 15%. All starter diets were isonitrogenous and isocaloric. Body weight gain and efficiency of feed utilization of chicks fed the co.trol diet alone were not significantly(P sugar syrup. Supplementation of sugar syrup to broiler diets had no significant effect on blood gluco.e, creatinine, total protein, or liver enzymes. Adding 5% sugar syrup to broiler rations significantly decreased blood cholesterol and triglycerides in chickens fed the sugar syrup diet co.pared with birds fed the co.trol diet. In co.clusion, the results shows sugar syrup can be used in poultry ration to replace part of the co.n as a source of energy. These results allowed the authors to reco.mend the safe usage of sugar syrup in broiler rations.

Joint survey panel co.posed of three units investigated sugarcane borers in Xianggui sugarcane area,in order to make clear the current situation of sugarcane borers,estimate the eco.omic loss caused by sugarcane borers,and analyze the causes of increasingly serious occurrence of sugarcane *** survey results indicated that sugarcane pests occurred seriously in Xianggui sugarcane area;the average rate of borer-damaged strain was 46.54%,the average yield loss was 14.87%,and the average sucrose co.tent loss was as high as 1.12%.The estimated results of eco.nomic damage caused by pests demonstrated that the agricultural loss was 467 million yuan,the industry loss was 856 million yuan and the national financial loss was 51 million *** to the survey results,the experts of research group analyzed and summarized the causes of increasing-ly serious occurrence of sugarcane pests in Xianggui sugarcane area,and put forward the co.ntermeasures for the prevention and co.trol of sugar-cane pests in this area.
