If some suitable treatments are used plantations can be grown and established on the soil of soda-saline-alkali with the soil condition of PH 8.5- 9.6, salinity 0.1-0.3% and normality ratio of saline base Na+ / ( Ca+++ Mg++)≥4. From the results of plot inventory and tree stem analysis, the increment of Poplus simonigra is highest. For 9 years, the volume can reach 100 m3/ha, the biomass (above ground) can reach 28.7 ton/ha. Poplus simonigra grows very well on the all kinds of soda-saline-alkali soils except for the alkali spot with the worst soil condition. So Poplus simonigra is a good tree species for planting on the soil of soda-saline-alkali.

From field investigations and inoculations, Dothistroma pini, the pathogen of Dothistroma needle blight was found to overwinter as mycelium and unmaturcd accrvuli in infected needles. The conidia were sprcadcd mainly by rain splash. The disease became widespread by transporting diseased seedlings and scions, conidia spread throughout the growing season, but mainly from May to July. The disease was found in both stand locations in each summer of investigation. The outbreak severity was serious in pure stands of susceptible pine and mixed stunds with large components of susceptible pine, but slight in mixed stands of unsusceptible species with small components of susceptible hosts. The disease was less severe in pruned stands than in unpruned stands. The disease was most serious near the infection centre. indoor and outdoor tests, it was shown that Chlorothalonil smoke, Chlorothalonil spray and Thiram and Asomate sprays were effective control fungicides.

Green technology for the preparation of epoxidized soybean oil（ESBO） is of *** epoxidation of soybean oil with peroxyacetic acid generated in situ from hydrogen peroxide and glacial acetic acid as monomers and SO3H-functional ionic liquids 1-methyl-3-（3-sulfopropyl）-imidazolium hydrogen sulfate（／[C3SO3HMIM／]／[HSO4／]） as catalyst was *** influence of stirring speed,hydrogen peroxide-to-ethylenic unsaturation molar ratio,acetic acid-to-ethylenic unsaturation molar ratio,catalyst loading and temperature on the relative percentage conversion to oxirane and the recycling properties of catalyst were *** rate constant and activation energy for epoxidation of soybean oil were found to be of the order of 10-5L/（mol·s） and 51.4kJ/mol,*** thermodynamic parameters of enthalpy,entropy and free energy of activation were found to be of 48.6kJ/mol,-191.7J/（mol·K） and 112.2kJ/mol,respectively.

In the structural design of the high pier,in order to analyze the strength and structure stability,the pier was often considered a thin-walled *** incremental theory was used to establish the model of elastoplastic stability of high *** considering the combined action of pile,soil and pier together,the destabilization bearing capacity was calculated by using 3-D finite element method(3-D FEM) for piers with different pile and section ***,the equivalent stress in different sections of pier was computed and the processor of destabilization was *** the pier is lower,the bearing capacity under mutual effect of pile,soil and pier is less than the situation when mutual effect is not considered;when the pier is higher,their differences are not *** with the increase of the cross-sectional height,the direction of destabilization bearing capacity is varied and the ultimate capacity is *** results of a stability analysis example are almost identical with the practice.

This paper reports the histological observation of larvae ofZethenia rufescentaria Motsch. after infection by ZrNPV. Histopathologic study revealed that ZrNPV were multiplied within the nuclear of fat body, epidermis cell, midgut cell, tracheal matrix and blood cell. These cells showed obvious cytopathic effects. The nucleus of infected cells underwent swelled. Under electron microscope, virus and polyhedral of ZrNPV were clearly observed in these nucleus of infected cells. The nucleus of susceptible tissues were fulfilled with polyhedra after 70–140 h.

The comparative result shows that the physical and mechanical properties of wood between white wood of Dahurian larch (Larix gmelini (Rupr.) Rupr.) and Mangolian scotch pine (Pinus cylvesthe var. mongolica) are different Some differences are very conspicuous,(e. g. compressivc strength parallel to grain, modulus of elasticity in static bending, toughness and bending strength etc. ),and others are slightly conSPicuous or not conspicuous,(e.g. shrinkage, differential shrinkage and shearing strength parallel to grain etc.). The properties of white wood of Dahurian larch are suitable weight and soft texture, median strength,median shrinkage and good in worability, while which of Mongolian scotch pine are light and soft nearly very soft,weak strength, median shrinkage are good in workability. However, the white wood of Dahuran larch is superior to the Mongolian scotch pine in Strength-to-weight *** is a valuable timber tree.

Introduction:Management practices are essential for maintaining forest ecological functions under increasing diseases and pest *** effects of nitrogen fertilization(NF)and clear-cutting(CC)on the soil microbial community structure and greenhouse gases emission were investigated of pinewood nematodes(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus)-infected Masson pine(Pinus massoniana)***:CC increased the soil microbial biomass carbon(SMBC)and soil microbial biomass nitrogen(SMBN)contents relative to the control(CK).NF increased the SMBN but had no significant effect on the SMBC *** total fungal and bacterial abundances increased in the CC treatment compared with the CK,but there was no significant difference between the NF and *** cumulative soil CO_(2)emission(-2.35 t C·hm^(-2))was higher than that of CK(1.65 t C·hm^(-2))in summer,and the cumulative annual N_(2)O emission(16.90 kg N·hm^(-2)yr^(-1))of NF was approximately 47 times of CK(0.36 t N·hm^(-2)·yr^(-1)).CC increased the CO_(2)flux(-2.21 t C·hm^(-2))in summer but have no significantly effects on N_(2)O ***:These results indicated that NF and CC practices changed forest soil microbial community structure and affected soil greenhouse gas emissions in pinewood nematodes-infected Masson pine *** CO_(2)emission rates increased in the NF and CC treatments,which reduced the carbon sequestration function of forests and had a negative impact on climate change.

Zethenia rufescentaria Motsch. has outbroken successively in the larch plantation of Jixi region and seriously damaged stands since 1990. Chemical control was studied for controlling the occurrence of the pest. The results showed as follows: When the third or the forth instar larvae was controlled with smoke agent of 5% Lindane, the most suitable time was July 10-13. The area controlled was 2000 hm2. The dosage was 7.5 kg/hm2 and the mortality of the pest reached 93.5%. 25%dimilin Ⅲ (flowable formulation) was used to prevent the third instar larvae. The best time was about July 5. The dosage was 150g/hm2. The mortality of the pest reached 89.85%. 3% Hexyclan dusting was also used to control adults of the pest. The best time was before the peak of their emergence (June 3). the dosage was 11.3 kg/hm2. The mortality of the pests reached 89.6%.

In this paper, the relationship was studied bwtween the permeability of Pinus koraiensis. Larix grnelinii. Betula platphylla and Populus davidiana and moisture content of wood in the hygroscopic range. The mathenatical model of variation low has been obtained from the relationship between wood and water, The results are as fellow: (1)The relationsh ip betweed wood permeability and the moisture content is in twice curve function in the hygroscopic rang. (2)There is a peak value in tangential permeability, (3) The number of openings per cm of cross sectionand pit-opening average radii reduces by the increaasing of wood moisture content.
