In order to estimate the systematic error in the processof maneuvering target adaptive tracking, a new method is *** proposed method is a linear tracking scheme basedon a modified input estimation approach. A special augmentationin the state space model is considered, in which both the systematicerror and the unknown input vector are attached to thestate vector. Then, an augmented state model and a measurementmodel are established in the case of systematic error, andthe corresponding filter formulas are also given. In the proposedscheme, the original state, the acceleration and the systematicerror vector can be estimated simultaneously. This method can notonly solve the maneuvering target adaptive tracking problem in thecase of systematic error, but also give the system error value inreal time. Simulation results show that the proposed tracking algorithmoperates in both the non-maneuvering and the maneuveringmodes, and the original state, the acceleration and the systematicerror vector can be estimated simultaneously.

Rare information on the fate of microplastics in the integrated membrane system (IMS) system in full-scale wastewater treatment plant was available. The fate of microplastics in IMS in a coastal reclaimed water plant was investigated. The removal rate of microplastics in the IMS system reached 93.2% after membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment while that further increased to 98.0% after the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane process. The flux of microplastics in MBR effluent was reduced from 1.5 × 10^(13) MPs/d to 10.2 × 10^(11) MPs/d while that of the RO treatment decreased to 2.7 × 10^(11) MPs/d. Small scale fiber plastics (< 200 μm) could break through RO system according to the size distribution analysis. The application of the IMS system in the reclaimed water plant could prevent most of the microplastics from being discharged in the coastal water. These findings suggested that the IMS system was more efficient than conventional activated sludge system (CAS) for the removal of microplastics, while the discharge of small scale fiber plastics through the IMS system should also not be neglected because small scale fiber plastics (< 200 μm) could break through IMS system equipped with the RO system.

Improvement of low temperature activity and stability of Ni catalysts with addition of Pt for hydrogen production via steam reforming of ethylene glycol

Hydrogen production by steam reforming of ethylene glycol(EG) at 300℃ was investigated over SiO2 and CeO2 supported Pt–Ni bimetallic catalysts prepared by incipient wetness impregnation methods. It was observed that impregnation sequence of Pt and Ni can affect the performance of catalysts apparently. Catalyst with Pt first and then Ni addition showed higher EG conversion and H2 yield owing to the Ni enrichment on the surface and the proper interaction between Pt and Ni. It was observed that although SiO2 supported catalysts exhibited better activity and H2 selectivity, CeO2 supported ones had better stability. This is attributed to the less coke formation on CeO2. Increasing Pt/Ni ratio enhanced the reaction activity, and Pt3–Ni7 catalysts with 3 wt% Pt and 7 wt% Ni showed the highest activity and stability. Ni surficial enrichment facilitated the C-C bond rupture and water gas shift reactions;and Pt addition inhibited methanation reaction. Electron transfer and hydrogen spillover from Pt to Ni suppressed carbon deposition. These combined effects lead to the excellent performance of Pt3–Ni7 supported catalysts.

Effect of pressure on thermal behavior of KDP crystals is investigated by using the in-situ infrared reflective *** with that under normal atmosphere,the onset temperature of decomposition under pressure of 1 MPa is improved to from 210℃to 213℃,suggesting that the thermal stability of KDP is *** pressure of 2 MPa,the thermal stability is deteriorated and KDP begins to decompose at 183℃.Under normal atmosphere KDP decomposes in route of translating to K_(4)P_(2)O_(7)firstly,and then to KPO_(3).Under pressures of 1 MPa and 2MPa,KDP translates to KPO_(3)directly without any other polymeric intermediates.

Both activated carbon and magnetite have been reported to promote the syntrophic growth of Geobacter metallireducens and Geobacter sulfurreducens co-cultures, the first model to show direct interspecies electron transfer (DIET); however, differential transcriptomics of the promotion on co-cultures with these two conductive materials are unknown. Here, the comparative transcriptomic analysis of G. metallireducens and G. sulfurreducens co-cultures with granular activated carbon (GAC) and magnetite was reported. More than 2.6-fold reduced transcript abundances were determined for the uptake hydrogenase genes of G. sulfurreducens as well as other hydrogenases in those co-cultures to which conductive materials had been added. This is consistent with electron transfer in G. metallireducens-G. sulfurreducens co-cultures as evinced by direct interspecies electron transfer (DIET). Transcript abundance for the structural component of electrically conductive pili (e-pili), PilA, was 2.2-fold higher in G. metallireducens, and, in contrast, was 14.9-fold lower in G. sulfurreducens in co-cultures with GAC than in Geobacters co-cultures without GAC. However, it was 9.3-fold higher in G. sulfurreducens in co-cultures with magnetite than in Geobacters co-cultures. Mutation results showed that GAC can be substituted for the e-pili of both strains but magnetite can only compensate for that of G. sulfurreducens, indicating that the e-pili is a more important electron acceptor for the electron donor strain of G. metallireducens than for G. sulfurreducens. Transcript abundance for G. metallireducens c-type cytochrome gene GMET_RS14535, a homologue to c-type cytochrome gene omcE of G. sulfurreducens was 9.8-fold lower in co-cultures with GAC addition, while that for OmcS of G. sulfurreducens was 25.1-fold higher in co-cultures with magnetite, than in that without magnetite. Ontogenetic changes in digestive enzyme activities and the amino acid(AA) profile of starry flounder,Platichthys stellatus,were investigated and limiting amino acids were estimated compared with the essential AA profile between larvae and live food to clarify starry flounder larval nutritional *** were collected at the egg stage and 0,2,4,7,12,17,24 days after hatching(DAH)for *** grew from 1.91 mm at hatching to 12.13 mm at 24 *** and chymotrypsin activities changed slightly by 4 DAH and then increased significantly 4 *** activity increased sharply beginning 17 *** activity increased significantly 4 DAH and increased progressively with larval *** activity was also detected in newly hatched larvae and increased 7 DAH followed by a gradual *** free amino acid(FAA) content was detected in starry flounder eggs(110.72mg/g dry weight).Total FAA content dropped to 43.29 mg/g in 4-DAH larvae and then decreased gradually to 13.74 mg/g in 24-DAH *** FAAs(except lysine and methionine) decreased >50%in 4-DAH larvae compared with those in eggs and then decreased to the lowest values in 24-DAH *** in the protein amino acid(PAA) profile were much milder than those observed for *** PAAs increased gradually during larval development,except lysine and *** percentages of free threonine,valine,isoleucine,and leucine decreased until the end of the trial,whereas the protein forms of these four AAs followed the opposite trend.A comparison of the essential AA composition of live food(rotifers,Artemia nauplii,and Artemia metanauplii) and larvae suggested that methionine was potentially the first limiting *** results may help develop starry flounder larviculture methods by solving the AA imbalance in live ***,the increased digestive enzyme activities indicate the possibility of introducing artificial compound feed.

We investigated the correlation between leaf/soil minerals and fruit quality in apple trees grown in orchards,with the ultimate goal of improving the *** mineral nutrients;soil nutrients in the 0-20,20-40,and 40-60 cm layers;and fruit quality traits in 32 apple orchards in China were monitored for 2 *** factors associated with fruit quality were identified via correlation *** analysis of leaf data revealed that leaf nitrogen（N） and leaf magnesium（Mg） levels were extremely high in 75 and 89%of the orchards,*** the Bohai Gulf region,94%of the orchards showed significantly higher values than the *** soil pH values of the orchards in eastern China like eastern Shandong or Liaoning were lower than 7.0,while the pH values in the Loess Plateau of northwestern China like Shaanxi were much higher than *** alkali-hydrolyzable N levels in 47%of the orchards were lower than the optimal level of 70 mg kg^-***,the soil alkali-hydrolyzable N levels of orchards in the Bohai Gulf region were significantly higher than those in the Loess Plateau *** available P levels in the orchards of the Bohai Gulf region were up to three times higher than those of the Loess Plateau ***,although the available potassium（K） in most orchards was sufficient（51.39-309.94 mg kg^-1）,leaf K content in 73%of the orchards was low,possibly due to fruit bagging or fruit *** 63%of the orchards in Shandong and 29%of the orchards in Shannxi showed leaf Fe *** the Loess Plateau,most orchards showed high leaf Ca levels,a strong correlation was observed between leaf and soil phosphorus/potassium（P/K）content and fruit organic acid *** amounts of fruit soluble sugar or fructose were positively correlated with soil calcium/potassium（Ca/K） levels and leaf calcium/boron（Ca/B） levels in most *** excessive leaf N levels caused by the extensive application of N fertilizers had a negative effect on
