Increased human activities in china's coastal zone have resulted in the depletion of ecological land ***,conducting current and future multi-scenario simulation research on land use and land cover change(LUCC)is crucial for guiding the healthy and sustainable development of coastal *** dynamic(SD)-future land use simulation(FLUS)model,a coupled simulation model,was developed to analyze land use dynamics in china's coastal *** model encompasses five scenarios,namely,SSP1-RCP2.6(A),SSP2-RCP4.5(B),SSP3-RCP4.5(C),SSP4-RCP4.5(D),and SSP5-RCP8.5(E).The SD model simulates land use demand on an annual basis up to the year ***,the FLUS model determines the spatial distribution of land use for the near term(2035),medium term(2050),and long term(2100).Results reveal a slowing trend in land use changes in china's coastal zone from 2000–*** these changes,the expansion rate of construction land was the highest and exhibited an annual *** 2100,land use predictions exhibit high accuracy,and notable differences are observed in trends across *** summary,the expansion of production,living,and ecological spaces toward the sea remains *** A emphasizes reduced land resource dependence,benefiting ecological land *** B witnesses an intensified expansion of artificial *** C sees substantial land needs for living and production,while Scenario D shows coastal forest and grassland ***,in Scenario E,the conflict between humans and land *** study presents pertinent recommendations for the future development,utilization,and management of coastal areas in *** research contributes valuable scientific support for informed,long-term strategic decision making within coastal regions.

Synthesis and applications of mesoporous Cu-Zn-Al_2O_3 catalyst for dehydrogenation of 2-butanol

A series of mesoporous Cu-Zn-Al2O3 materials have been synthesized at ambient temperature and their structure was characterized by XRD, N2 physical adsorption and TPR techniques. Their catalytic applications for the dehydrogenation of 2-butanol to methyl ethyl ketone （MEK） were evaluated in a fixed-bed flow reactor at atmospheric pressure. It is demonstrated from the XRD patterns that both the as-synthesized samples and calcined samples have the typical XRD patterns of meso-structured materials and the results of N20 chemical adsorption showed that Cu was embedded in the framework of the mesoporous materials and homogeneously dispersed in the mesoporous Cu-Zn-Al2O3 materials. The catalytic activity of 2-butanol dehydrogenation was varied in the order of CZA（10）〈 CZA（CP）〈 CZA（20）〈 CZA（30）; while the selectivity of MEK was increased in the order of CZA（CP）〈 CZA（10）〈 CZA（20）〈CZA（30）.

Occurrence and possible sources of antibiotic resistance genes in seawater of the South china Sea

Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)might have great effect on ecological security and human *** are important reservoirs that receive tremendous amounts of pollutants ***,information on the proliferation of ARGs in seawater is still *** study performed field sampling to investigate the occurrence and distribution of ARGs in seawater of the South china Sea,which is the deepest and largest sea in *** results showed that the total absolute abundances of ARGs in seawater samples ranged from 2.1×10^(3)to 2.3×10^(4)copies/mL,with an of 5.0×10^(3)copies/mL and a range of 2.2×10^(3)–1.8×10^(4)copies/mL for those with mobile genetic elements(MGEs).Genes resistant to multidrug,aminoglycoside,tetracycline,and fluoroquinolone antibiotics accounted for 77.3%–88.6%of total ARGs in *** and Cyanobacteria represented 32.1%–56.2%and 30.4%–49.5%of microbial community,***_MIT9313 and Clade_la were the prevalent genera in seawater of the South china *** co-occurrence relationship existed among ARGs,MGEs,and *** activities had critical influence on ARGs and *** wastewater,wastewater treatment plant effluent,sewage,aquaculture tailwater,and runoff were determined as the important sources of ARGs in seawater of the South china Sea based on positive matrix factorization analysis.

Accelerated corrosion test and corrosion failure distribution model of aircraft structural aluminum alloy

Based on corrosion damage data of 10 years for a type of aircraft aluminum alloy, the statistical analysis was conducted by Gumbel, Normal and two parameters Weibull distribution function. The results show that aluminum alloy structural member has the corrosion history of pitting corrosion—intergranular corrosion—exfoliation corrosion, and the maximum corrosion depth is in conformity to normal distribution. The accelerated corrosion test was carried out with the complied equivalent airport accelerated environment spectrum. The corrosion damage failure modes of aluminum alloy structural member indicate that the period of validity of the former protective coating is about 2.5 to 3 years, and that of the novel protective coating is about 4.0 to 4.5 years. The corrosion kinetics law of aluminum spar flange was established by fitting corrosion damage test data. The law indicates two apparent corrosion stages of high strength aluminum alloy section material: pitting corrosion and intergranular corrosion/exfoliation corrosion. The test results agree with the statistical fit result of corrosion data collected from corrosion member in service. The fractional error is 5.8% at the same calendar year. The accelerated corrosion test validates the corrosion kinetics law of aircraft aluminum alloy in service.

Characterization of Wnt genes in Argopecten scallops and their involvement in response to different temperature stresses in“Bohai Red”scallops

As“Bohai Red”scallops were originated from the hybrids between the Peruvian scallop(Argopecten purpuratus)and the bay scallop(Argopecten irradians)northern subspecies(Argopecten irradians irradians).Twelve Wnt members were identified from the two subspecies of bay scallop,and 13 Wnt genes were found in the genome of the Peruvian *** structure analyses showed that most Wnt genes poses all 5 conserved motifs except Wnt1,Wnt2,Wnt6,and Wnt9 in the bay scallops and Wnt2 and Wnt9 in the Peruvian ***,Wnt8 gene was present while Wnt3 was absent in both the bay scallops and the Peruvian *** analysis revealed that Wnt3 might have disappeared in the early evolution of *** expression profile of Wnt genes in the“Bohai Red”exposed to different temperatures was examined by *** show that expression of Wnt genes responded differentially to temperature *** Wnt genes such as Wnt1,Wnt6,Wnt7,Wnt11,and WntA that responded slowly to low and high temperature stresses may be related to the maintenance of basic *** Wnt genes such as Wnt4,Wnt9,Wnt5,and Wnt2 that responded rapidly to low temperature may play an important role in organismal protection against low temperature *** yet some Wnt genes including Wnt10,Wnt16,and Wnt8 that responded quickly to high temperature stress may play key roles in response to high temperature *** results provide new insights into the evolution and function of Wnt genes in bivalves and eventually benefit culture of“Bohai Red”scallops.

Remote Sensing Retrieval of Surface Suspended Sediment Concentration in the Yellow River Estuary

Accurate assessment of surface suspended sediment concentration （SSSC） in estuary is essential to address several important issues： erosion, water pollution, human health risks, etc. In this study, an empirical cubic retrieval model was developed for the retrieval of SSSC from Yellow River Estuary. Based on sediments and seawater collected from the Yellow River and southeastern Laizhou Bay, SSSC conditions were reproduced in the laboratory at increasing concentrations within a range common to field observations. Continu- ous spectrum measurements of the various SSSCs ranging from 1 to 5700 mg/1 were carried out using an AvaField-3 spectrometer. The results indicated the good correlation between water SSSC and spectral reflectance （Rrs） was obtained in the spectral range of 726-900 nm. At SSSC greater than 2700 mg/L, the 740-900 nm spectral range was less susceptible to the effects of spectral reflectance saturation and more suitable for retrieval of high sediment concentrations. The best correlations were obtained for the reflectance ratio of 820 nm to 490 nm. Informed by the correlation between Rrs and SSSC, a retrieval model was developed （R2 = 0.992）. The novel cubic model, which used the ratio of a near-infrared （NIR） band （740-900 nm） to a visible band （400-600 nm） as factors, provided robust quantifica- tion of high SSSC water samples. Two high SSSC centers, with an order of 103 mg/1, were found in the inversion results around the abandoned Diaokou River mouth, the present Yellow River mouth to the abandoned Qingshuigou River mouth. There was little sedi- ment exchange between the two high SSSC centers due to the directions of the residual currents and vertical mixing.

Based on the three-cathode plasma spraying system,tantalum(Ta)coatings were pre-pared on the substrate of CuCrZr *** effects of different auxiliary gas(helium)flow rates on the microstructure,phase composition,mechanical and wear resistance properties of Ta coatings were *** results showed that the oxidation degree of the coatings decreases first and then increases with the increase of the auxiliary gas *** the auxiliary gas flow rate is 70 L·min-1,the oxidation degree of the coating is the lowest,minimum value of the porosity is 0.21%,and the bonding strength reaches the maximum,59.3 *** this time,the coating wear rate is 0.0012 mm^(3)·N^(-1)·m^(-1)with the best wear *** indicates that the auxiliary gas flow has an important influence on the quality and surface mechanical properties of tantalum coating.

Extraction of electrons by magnetite and ferrihydrite from hydrogen-producing Clostridium bifermentans by strengthening the acetate production pathway

Conductive mineral nanoparticles, such as magnetite, can promote interspecies electron transfer between syntrophic ***, the effect of magnetite has only been inferred in intraspecific electron output. Herein, a hydrogen-producing strain,namely, Clostridium bifermentans, which holds several electron output pathways, was used to study the effect of magnetite on the intraspecific electron output manner. Additionally, insulated amorphous ferrihydrite, which was used as an extracellular electron acceptor, was selected to compare with magnetite. Electrons, which were originally used to generate hydrogen, were shunted with the addition of magnetite and ferrihydrite, which resulted in the reduction of hydrogen production and accumulation of Fe(II). Interestingly, more electrons(39.7% and 53.5%) were extracted by magnetite and ferrihydrite, respectively, which led to less production of butyrate and more acetate. More importantly, the increased electron extraction efficiency suggested that electroactive microorganisms can switch metabolic pathways to adapt to electron budget pressure in intraspecific systems. This work broadens the understanding of the interaction between iron oxides and fermentative hydrogen-producing microbes that hold the capacity of Fe(III) reduction.
