Experiment on acoustic emission response and damage evolution characteristics of polymer-modified cemented paste backfill under uniaxial compression

The mechanical properties of cemented paste backfill(CPB)determine its control effect on the goaf *** this study,the mechanical strength of polymer-modified cemented paste backfill(PCPB)samples was tested by uniaxial compression tests,and the failure characteristics of PCPB under the compression were ***,acoustic emission(AE)technology was used to monitor and record the cracking process of the PCPB sample with a curing age of 28 d,and two AE indexes(rise angle and average frequency)were used to classify the failure modes of samples under different loading *** results show that waterborne epoxy resin can significantly enhance the mechanical strength of PCPB samples(when the mass ratio of polymer to powder material is 0.30,the strength of PCPB samples with a curing age of 28 d is increased by 102.6%);with the increase of polymer content,the mechanical strength of PCPB samples is improved significantly in the early and middle period of *** uniaxial load,the macro cracks of PCPB samples are mostly generated along the axial direction,the main crack runs through the sample,and a large number of small cracks are distributed around the main *** AE response of PCPB samples during the whole loading process can be divided into four periods:quiet period,slow growth period,rapid growth period,and remission period,corresponding to the micro-pore compaction stage,elastic deformation stage,plastic deformation stage,and failure instability stage of the stress-strain *** AE events are mainly concentrated in the plastic deformation stage;both shear failure and tensile failure occur in the above four stages,while tensile failure is dominant for PCPB *** study provides a reference for the safety of coal pillar recovery in pillar goaf.

Calculation method of prestack FAGVO and its applications

Frequency attenuation occurs when seismic waves propagate through the porous reservoirs containing hydrocarbons. Current researches on the seismic frequency attenuation mainly focus on the post-stack domain instead of the prestack domain. Here we propose the frequency attenuation gradient vs. offset （FAGVO） based on the amplitude variation with offset and frequency attenuation integral equations. We derive the FAGVO equation that equals to zero in a full-elastic medium and is negative in a viscoelastic medium. FAGVO is affected by the viscosity of the medium, the coefficients of reflection, the frequency variation, and high-frequency attenuation. FAGVO uses the differences of partially stacked data to decrease the interference caused by subsurface strata affecting the frequency attenuation, highlights the frequency attenuation gradient anomalies in hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir pores, and finally realizes the hydrocarbon fluid identification. The method was verified using a two-dimensional wave equation forward model and was found to be cost effective. Furthermore, the method does not require well information, which can be applied in the stage of seismic exploration, especially, in the exploration of a none-well project.

Effects of different loading rates and types of biochar on passivations of Cu and Zn via swine manure composting

Pollution of arable land caused by heavy metals in livestock and poultry manure has become a potential threaten to human health in *** disposal of the contained toxic pollution with animal manure by co-composting with biochar is one of the alternative *** from different sources(wheat straw,peanut shells and rice husks)amended with different loading rates were investigated for passivations of copper and zinc(Cu and Zn)in swine manure *** showed that the passivation effects of the three types of biochar on Cu and Zn were enhanced with increasing biochar *** of Cu and Zn measured by diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA)and Community Bureau of Reference(CBR)showed that wheat straw biochar with the loading rates of 10%–13%(w/w)was superior to the other two types of biochar in this *** with the control,sample from wheat straw biochar was more favorable for the bacterial growth of Proteobacteria,Firmicutes and *** addition,pot experiment showed that organic fertilizer amended with wheat straw biochar could significantly improve the growth of Chinese pakchoi and enzyme activities(superoxide dismutase,peroxidase,polyphenol oxidase and catalase)as compared with the *** and Zn contents of Chinese pakchoi in the organic fertilizer group containing wheat straw biochar reduced by 73.2%and 45.2%,65.8%and 33.6%,respectively,compared with the group without loading *** was no significant difference in the contents of vitamin C and reducing sugar between the groups of organic fertilizer amended with/without wheat straw biochar,however,there was significant difference compared with the heavy metal addition *** application of organic fertilizer formed by adding biochar can effectively reduce the adverse effects of heavy metals on crops.

Considering the application of wind-forecasting technology along the railway,it becomes an effective means to reduce the risk of tain more reliable wind-speed prediction results,this study proposes an intelligent ensemble forecasting method for strong winds train derailment and *** prediction of crosswinds can provide scientific guidance for safe train *** obalong the high-speed *** method consists of three parts:the data preprocessing module,the hybrid prediction module and original wind speed ***,Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno(BFGS)method,non-linear autoregressive network with exoge-the reinforcement learing ensemble ***,fast ensemble empirical model decomposition(FEEMD)is used to process the prediction models for all the sublayers of ***,Q-learning is utilized to iteratively calculate the combined weights nous inputs(NARX)and deep belief network(DBN),three benchmark predictors with different characteristics are employed to build of the three models,and the prediction results of each sublayer are superimposed to obtain the model *** real wind speed data of two railway stations in xinjiang are used for experimental *** show that compared with the single benchmark model,the hybrid ensemble model has better accumacy and robustness for wind speed prediction along the *** 1-step forecasting results mean absolute error(MAE),mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)and root mean square error(RMSE)of Q-leaming-FEEMD-BFGS-NARX-DBN in site #1 and site #2 are 0.0894 m/s,0.6509%,0.1146 m/s,and 0.0458 m/s.0.2709%,0.0616 m/*** proposed ensemble model is a promising method for railway wind speed prediction.

Background:There is a need for effective and safe therapies for psoriasis that provide sustained *** aim of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of tildrakizumab,an anti-interleukin-23p19 monoclonal antibody,for treating moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in Chinese ***:In this multi-center,double-blind,phase III trial,patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis were enrolled and randomly assigned(1:1)to receive subcutaneous tildrakizumab 100 mg or placebo at weeks 0 and *** initially assigned to placebo were switched to receive tildrakizumab at weeks 12,16,and every 12 weeks *** in the tildrakizumab group continued with tildrakizumab at week 16,and every 12 weeks until week *** primary endpoint was the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI 75)response rate at week ***:At week 12,tildrakizumab demonstrated significantly higher PASI 75 response rates(66.4%[73/110]vs.12.7%[14/110];difference,51.4%[95%confidence interval(CI),40.72,62.13];Pgroups,reaching maximal efficacy after 28 weeks(86.8%[92/106]vs.82.4%[89/108])and maintained up to 52 weeks(91.3%[95/104]vs.87.4%[90/103]).Most treatment-emergent adverse events were mild and not related to ***:Tildrakizumab demonstrated durable efficacy through week 52 and was well tolerated in Chinese patients with moderate-to-severe plaque *** registration:***,NCT05108766.

Crumble rubber(CR)can be used to prepare CR and styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS)composite modified asphalt with a good high-and low-temperature performance,meanwhile the addition of CR could work as the substitute for SBS and help reduce the content of *** study contains three main parts:effect of preparation and effect of material composition as well as rheological performance *** during the preparation,including shearing temperature,shearing time,mixing time and swelling time,were selected,while base binder,CR content,CR particle size and SBS content in material composition were *** effects of these factors were assessed in terms of the conventional performance(penetration,softening point,ductility and storage stability).After identifying these effects,the sample of CR and SBS modified asphalt at the selected preparing condition and material composition(CR/SBSMA)was made,and the corresponding SBS modified and CR modified asphalt(SBSMA and CRMA)were produced for the comparing ***,temperature sweeps from 0℃ to 80℃ were utilized to depict the viscoelasticity of these modified asphalt binders by complex modulus and phase *** stress creep recovery tests(MSCR)at 64℃ and bending beam rheometer tests(BBR)at various low temperatures were employed to evaluate the high-and low-temperature performance,*** highlight that that CR/SBSMA could exhibit an excellent high-temperature performance(better than SBSMA),and a good low-temperature performance(reaching the level of base binder).

Flavanone and flavonoid hydroxylase genes regulate fiber color formation in naturally colored cotton

Using naturally colored cotton(NCC)can eliminate dyeing,printing and industrial processing,and reduce sewage discharge and energy ***(PAs),the primary coloration components in brown fibers,are polyphenols formed by oligomers or polymers of flavan-3-ol units derived from *** essential structural genes for flavanone and flavonoid hydroxylation encoding flavanone-3-hydroxylase(F3H),flavonoid 3’-hydroxylase(F3’H)and flavonoid 3’5’-hydroxylase(F3’5’H)are initially committed in the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway to produce common *** three genes were all expressed predominantly in developing fibers of NCCs,and their expression patterns varied temporally and spatially among NCC *** GhF3Hi,GhF3’Hi and GhF3’5’Hi silenced lines of NCC varieties XC20 and ZX1,the expression level of the three genes decreased in developing cotton fiber,negatively correlated with anthocyanidin content and fiber color *** color depth and type in RNAi lines changed with endogenous gene silencing efficiency and expression pattern,the three hydroxylase genes functioned in fiber color ***3H showed functional differentiation among NCC varieties and GhF3’H acted in the accumulation of anthocyanin in *** with GhF3’H,GhF3’5’H was expressed more highly in brown fiber with a longer duration of expression and caused lighter color of fibers in GhF3’5’H silenced *** three genes regulating fiber color depth and type could be used to improve these traits by genetic manipulation.

Study on the temperature characteristic and high temperature risk of asphalt layer of Beijing-xinjiang ExpresswayWutong Daquan to Yiwu Section

High temperature rutting is a typical highway damage in xinjiang, China, and its trigger process usually has a close relationship with characteristics of road temperature distribution. A numerical model of earth-atmosphere coupling heat transfer on a typical section of the Beijing-xinjiang Expressway(G7) from Wutong Daquan to Yiwu was established in this work. Spatiotemporal characteristics of pavement structure layer temperature distribution, frequency and duration times of road surface high temperature from May 1 to September 30 are statistically studied. The effects of wind speed, weather and air temperature on asphalt layer and pavement temperature are analyzed. The results show that:(1) Spatial and temporal temperature distribution characteristics of pavement structural layers are greatly affected by the coupled earth-atmosphere heat transfer process. Surface temperature increases along the airflow direction and daily temperature variation of the pavement structure layer decreases with an increase of depth.(2) G7 expressway will face the challenge of high rutting damage. The proportion of temperature higher than 50 ℃ for pavement surface and asphalt upper layer both exceeds 50%and high temperature of road lasts for more than six hours in numerous days.(3) High temperatures of asphalt pavement are usually associated with low ambient wind speeds, while the wind flow has little cooling effect when the road surface temperature is relative high. Weather conditions have a significant impact on temperature of the road surface. The probability of high temperature in sunny days is obviously higher than other weather conditions.(4) Pavement temperature rises as air temperature rises. When air temperature is higher than 30 °C, the proportion of pavement daily maximum temperature over softening point reaches up to 78%.

Seeing Networks Clearly:The Influence of Holistic-Analytic Thinking Styles on Network Perception and Coalition Formation

Accurate knowledge of who knows whom in organizations have important benefits for individual work performance and managerial decision making,but people are not very accurate when recalling connections among others in their social *** present study investigates how holisticanalytic thinking styles influence the extent people can accurately perceive network relationships and choose the right persons to form a coalition in a fictious persuasive task We focused on two dimensions of holistic-analytic thinking style,namely attention to field(as opposed to parts)and interactionist(as opposed to dispositionist)causal theory Results from 281 participants reveals that while individuals with greater attention to field were more accurate in recalling relationships in asocial network those inclined toward interactionism in causal theory were less accurate Furthermore,greater attention to field enhanced the effectiveness of coalition member selection,in part through the mediationof accurate network perception;while interactionism,via the full mediation of network perception,indirectly led to less effective coalition choice.
