Concentrations and light absorption properties of PM_(2.5) organic and black carbon based on online measurements in Lanzhou, China

To elucidate the variations in mass concentrations of organic carbon(OC)and black carbon(BC)in PM_(2.5) and their light absorption characteristics in Lanzhou,we conducted one-year online measurements by using a newly developed total carbon analyzer(TCA08)coupled with an aethalometer(AE33)from July 2018 to July *** mean OC and BC concentrations were 6.4±4.4 and 2.0±1.3μg/m^(3),*** seasonal variations were observed for both components,with winter having the highest concentrations,followed by autumn,spring,and *** diurnal variations of OC and BC concentrations were similar throughout the year,with daily two peaks occurring in the morning and evening,respectively.A relatively low OC/BC ratio(3.3±1.2,n=345)were observed,indicating that fossil fuel combustion was the primary source of the carbonaceous *** is further substantiated by relatively low biomass burning contribution(f_(biomass):27.1%±11.3%)to BC using aethalometer based measurement though f_(biomass) value which increased significantly in winter(41.6%±5.7%).We estimated a considerable brown carbon(BrC)contribution to the total absorption coefficient(b_(abs))at 370 nm(yearly average of 30.8%±11.1%),with a winter maximum of 44.2%±4.1%and a summer minimum of 19.2%±4.2%.Calculation of the wavelength dependence of total b_(abs) revealed an annual mean AAE_(370-520) value of 4.2±0.5,with slightly higher values in spring and *** mass absorption cross-section of BrC also exhibited higher values in winter,with an annual mean of 5.4±1.9 m^(2)/g,reflecting the impact of emissions from increased biomass burning on BrC concentrations.

Production and operation of xinjiang's textile industry in the first three quarters of 2018

In the first three quarters of 2018, textile enterprises in xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region with an operating income of above three million yuan finished the added value by 7.304 billion yuan, which was 11.1% higher than that of the same period last year, but the growth rate dropped by 8.0% compared with the same period last year. Textile enterprises above the designated scale finished the added value of 7.115 billion yuan, accounting for 97.4% of the textile industry’s added value, and increasing by 10.4% compared with the same period last year. The growth rate, however, fell by 8.2% compared with the same period last year.

Temporal and spatial variation and stability of the oasis in the Sangong River Watershed, xinjiang, China

Starting with the change of the land cover and the landscape patterns as well as the cold-island effect of the oasis, the temporal and spatial variation and the stability of the oasis of the alluvial-diluvial-fan/alluvial-plain type in the Sangong River watershed are researched by using the theories and methods of GIS, RS and landscape ecology based on the aerial photos in 1978 and 1987, the TM images in 1998 and the meteorological and hydrological data of the watershed. The results show that (ⅰ) the land cover of the whole oasis changes rapidly in a big amplitude, and there is an obvious temporal variation; (ⅱ) during the period of 1978—1987, the diversity and the variation of the oasis landscapes were increased but the stability of the oasis was decreased, the diversity of the oasis landscapes, however, has been decreased, but the stability has increased since 1987; (ⅲ) the cold-island effect of the oasis in the Sangong River watershed has been gradually increased since the 1960s, which reveals that the stability of the oasis has been obvi-ously increased viewed from the angle of climate.

Origin and Geodynamic Implications of Concealed Granite in Shadong Tungsten Deposit, xinjiang, China： Zircon U-Pb Chronology, Geochemistry, and Sr-Nd-Hf Isotope Constraint

Shadong deposit is the first large-scale tungsten deposit found in the East Tianshan orogenic belt, and the geologic characteristics of the deposit indicate that the deeply concealed granite body is ge- netically related with the mineralization. The LA-ICPMS U-Pb age of zircons from the Shadong concealed granite obtained in this research is 239±2.0 Ma, belonging to the Middle Triassic. The whole rock samples are metaiuminous to slightly peraluminous （A/CNK=0.95-1.02） with low contents of SiO2 （64.0 wt.%-68.5 wt.%） and low K2O/Na2O ratios （0.73-0.96）. The samples reveal enrichment of K, Rb, Th and depletion of Nb, Ta, P, Ti and have a negative slope from La to Lu （LaN/YbN=16.29-36.8） with weak negative Eu anom- aly （Eu/Eu＊= 0.71-0.82）. Initial ^87Sr/^86Sr ratios of whole rock range of 0.706 59-0.707 75, eNd（t） values range from -1.77 to -2.53 and εnf（t） values of zircon are between 2.54 and 4.90. The lithogeochemistry and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic characteristics revealed that the concealed granite in Shadong tungsten deposit is I-type granite, and occurs in an intraplate tectonic setting. The magma mixing during intraplating of mantle de- rived magma intruding into the crust in Indosinian Period is the major formation mechanism of the granite. Of which, the proportion of mantle derived magma ranges from 58% to 60%, and the crustal materials are mainly the metamorphic basement of Xingxingxia Group of Mesoproterozoic Changcheng System, which may orovide the main source of ore forming metals of Shadong tungsten deposit.

Analysis on Hydrological Regimes of the Medium and Small Rivers in Hami of xinjiang——Take Toudaogou Basin as an Example

[ Objective] The research aimed to analyze hydrological regimes of the medium and small rivers in Hami of xinjiang. [ Method] According to actual observation data at Toudaogou hydrological station during 1956 -2010, climate, runoff, flood, sediment and water quality in the basin were analyzed. [ Result] Runoff in Toudaogou River was mainly from bedrock fissure water and rainfall, and depended on temperature and precipi- tation in the catchment zone. Runoff in Toudaogou River had very big change during the year. Runoff in whole year mainly concentrated during April -June, which occupied 57.9% of annual runoff. Flood in Toudaogou basin was divided into spring and summer flood from time, and snowmelt and rainstorm flood from type. Sediment load was related to terrain, gradient, runoff, precipitation, flood and process. Suspended sediment load at Toudaogou hydrological station had close relationship with the annual maximum flow capacity of flood peak, and related coefficient was 0.917. [ Conclusion] Hydrological regime in Toudaogou basin basically represented corresponding hydrological information of rivers without glacier water supply in Hami even whole western arid zone of China. The research could provide theoretical basis for scientifically using water resources of the medium and small rivers in the zone.

Study on Self-Affine Fractal and Multi-Fractal Features of Geomorphic System in the Tianshan Area of xinjiang Region, China

In this paper, we use the standard deviation method and the fixed mass method to study the self affine fractal and multi fractal features along two topographic profiles across different tectonic geomorphic elements in the Tianshan area of xinjiang region, China. The results show that in the studied scaling range, the two profiles display different scaling fractal features, and the form and value range of multi fractal spectra D q also show different characteristics. The study suggests that the landforms are not completely random, but are deterministically random. The fractal dimension values in different scaling ranges express the mode, intensity and spatial dimension of the endogenic and exogenic processes. Meanwhile, a boundary point between the macroscopic and microscopic scales of geomorphic process is suggested to be about 5 km. These results are of significance in quantitative study of geomorphic dynamics.

Research on Present Activity Characteristics of Heizi Fault and Discussion of Its Relative Problems

Based on other previous researches, we recalculate the micro-displacement along the Heizi fault with recent deformation data of the Heizi reservoir. The result shows that activity characteristics of Heizi fault has changed greatly since 1973 and have experienced four phases. The third phase is characteristics of normal fault, and others characteristic of reverse faults. Constructing the reservoir dam and reservoir sluice has important effect on present activity of the fault, even changed the activity characteristics of faults in some phases. Seismicity has some effect on deformation data and fault activity.

Ex vivo liver resection followed by autotransplantation for end-stage hepatic alveolar echinococcosis

Background For patients with end-stage hepatic alveolar echinococcosis （AE）, in vivo resection of the involved parts of the liver is usually very difficult, therefore, allogenic liver transplantation is indicated. However, we hypothesize that for selected patents, ex vivo liver resection for thorough elimination of the involved tissues and liver autotransplantation may offer a chance for clinical cure. Methods We presented a 24-year-old women with a giant hepatic AE lesion who was treated with hepatectomy, ex vivo resection of the involved tissue and hepatic autotransplantation. The patient had moderate jaundice and advanced hepatic AE lesion which involved segments I, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and retrohepatic inferior vena cava. The lateral segments （II and III） of the left liver remained normal with over 1000 ml in its volume. No extrahepatic metastases （such as to the lung or brain） could be found. As the first step of treatment, X-ray guided percutaneous transhepatic cholangiodrainage （PTCD） was performed twice for bile drainage in segment III and II separately until her serum total bilirubin decreased gradually from 236 to 88 umol/L. Total liver resection was then performed, followed by extended right hepatic trisegmentectomy and the entire retrohepatic vena cava was surgically removed en bloc while her hemodynamics parameters were stable. Neither veino-veinous bypass nor temporary intracorporeal cavo-caval or porto-caval shunt was used during the 5.7-hour anhepatic phase. The remained AE-free lateral segments of the-left liver were re-implanted in situ. The left hepatic vein was directly anastomosed end-to-end to the suprahepatic inferior vena cava due to the lack of the retrohepatic inferior vena cava with AE total infiltration. Because compensatory retroperitoneal porto-caval collateral circulation developed, we enclosed remained infrahepatic inferior vena cava at renal vein level without any haemodynamics problems.
