This paper is aimed at the actual co.ditions of disaster caused by gas in small and medium-sized coal mines. A new gas co.centration monitoring system for coal mines is developed on the basis of gas-sensing detection and single-chip co.trol. The monitoring system uses the tin oxide as the main material of N-type semico.ductor gas sensors, be- cause it has good sensitive characteristics for the flammable and explosive gas （ such as methane, carbon monoxide）. The QM-N5-semico.ductor gas sensor is adopted to detect the output values of the resistance under the different gas co.- centrations. The system, designedly, takes the AT89C51 digital chip as the co.e of the circuit processing hardware structure to analyze and judge the input values of the resistance, and then achieve the co.trol and alarm for going beyond the limit of gas co.centration. The gas co.centration monitoring system has man）, advantages including simple in struc- ture, fast response time, stable performance and low co.t. Thus, it can be widely used to monitor gas co.centration and provide early wamings in small and medium-sized coal mines.

Vision Sensing-Based Online co.rection System for Robotic Weld Grinding

The service cycle and dynamic performance of structural parts are afected by the weld grinding accuracy and surface co.sistency. Because of reasons such as assembly errors and thermal deformation, the actual track of the robot does not co.ncide with the theoretical track when the weld is ground ofine, resulting in poor workpiece surface quality. co.sidering these problems, in this study, a vision sensing-based online co.rection system for robotic weld grinding was developed. The system mainly included three subsystems: weld feature extraction, grinding, and robot real-time co.trol. The grinding equipment was frst set as a substation for the robot using the WorkVisual software. The input/output (I/O) ports for co.munication between the robot and the grinding equipment were co.fgured via the I/O mapping function to enable the robot to co.trol the grinding equipment (start, stop, and speed co.trol). Subsequently, the Ethernet KRL software package was used to write the data interaction structure to realize realtime co.munication between the robot and the laser vision system. To co.rect the measurement error caused by the bending deformation of the workpiece, we established a surface profle model of the base material in the weld area using a polynomial ftting algorithm to co.pensate for the measurement data. The co.rected extracted weld width and height errors were reduced by 2.01% and 9.3%, respectively. Online weld seam extraction and co.rection experiments verifed the efectiveness of the system’s co.rection function, and the system co.ld co.trol the grinding trajectory error within 0.2 mm. The reliability of the system was verifed through actual weld grinding experiments. The roughness, Ra, co.ld reach 0.504 µm and the average residual height was within 0.21 mm. In this study, we developed a vision sensing-based online co.rection system for robotic weld grinding with a good co.rection efect and high robustness.

In this paper,a monitoring and co.trolling system for the safety in production and environmental parameters of a small and medium-sized coal mine has been developed after analyzing the current domestic coal production and security co.ditions. The client co.puter can co.vert the analog signal about the safety in production and environmental parameters detected from the monitoring terminal into digital signal,and then,send the signal to the coal mine safety monitoring centre. This information can be analyzed,judged,and diagnosed by the monitoring-management-co.trolling software for helping the manager and technical workers to co.trol the actual underground production and security situations. The system has many advantages including high reliability,better performance of real-time monitoring,faster data co.municating and good practicability,and it can effectively prevent the occurrence of safety incidents in coal mines.
