The chaotic behaviour exhibited by a typical ferroresonant circuit in a neutral grounding system is investigated in this paper. In most earlier ferroresonance studies the core loss of the power transformer was neglected or represented by a linear resistance. However, this is not always true. In this paper the core loss of the power transformer is modelled by a third order series in voltage and the magnetization characteristics of the transformer are modelled by an llth order two-term polynomial. Extensive simulations are carried out to analyse the effect of nonlinear core loss on transformer ferroresonance. A detailed analysis of simulation results demonstrates that, with the nonlinear core loss model used, the onset of chaos appears at a larger source voltage and the transient duration is shorter.

By modeling metal as a special piezoelectric material with extremely small piezoelec- tricity and extremely large permittivity,we have obtained the analytical solutions for an interfacial permeable crack in metal/piezoelectric bimaterials by means of the generalized Stroh formalism. The analysis shows that the stress fields near a permeable interfacial crack tip are usually with three types of singularities:r;and r;.Further numerical calculation on the oscillatory indexεare given for 28 types of metal/piezoelectric bimaterials combined by seven commercial piezoelectric materials: PZT-4,BaTiO;,PZT-5H,PZT-6B,PZT-7A,P-7 and PZT-PIC 151 and four metals:copper,silver,lead and aluminum,*** explicit expressions of the crack tip energy release rate（ERR）and the crack tip generalized stress intensity factors（GSIF）are *** is found that both the ERR and GSIF are independent of the electric displacement loading,although they seriously depends on the mechanical loadings.

Among the emitters in powder dusting to visualize the latent fingerprints(LFPs),aggregation-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens)are well employed for their high brightness and resistance to ***,the serious background interference and low resolution still limit their fast ***,to further enhance the signal-to-noise ratio in LFPs imaging,especially to improve the analysis for level 3 details,donor-acceptor(D-A)typed AIEgens of DTPA-2,3-P,DTPA-2,5-P and DTPA-2,6-P are designed *** is observed that strong emission covering from 450nm to 650nm can be obtained for all these molecules,especially that a high PLQY value of 10.06%in solids is achieved in DTPA-2,*** is much higher than that of the other two cases(0.80%and 0.51%).By utilizing the DTPA-2,3-P in powder dusting,fluorescence imaging of LFPs can be clearly captured on both smooth and rough ***,confocal laser scanning microscope(CLSM)enables us to achieve high-resolution LFPs imaging in both 2D and 3D views,providing more detailed information of fingerprints pores in width,distance,distribution,and *** results here demonstrate that highly emissive AIEgen of DTPA-2,3-P could be an excellent candidate for the visualization of fingerprints,thus providing the potential application in criminal investigation in the future.

The ZnO/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3thin fi lm was epitaxially fabricated on La Al O3（100） by pulse laser *** Raman scattering on the single layer La Sr Mn O and junction ZnO/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3was investigated in a giant softening by 490 cm-1John-Teller, 620 and 703cm-1optical phonon modes. The Raman spectra La Sr Mn O and ZnO/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3were observed with distinct features, i.e., the thickness was in dependent of frequency and intensity. The dynamics results showed that the spin–orbital coupling was caused by anomalies tilt of Mn O6 octahedron. The LSMO/Zn O junction exhibited excellent junction positive magneto-resistance behavior in the temperature range of 77–300 K. The kinetic energy gain was achieved by orbital competition, strong crystal fi eld and charge order of energy band splitting. The transport orbits were in the environment of the ferromagnetic-orbital ordering. The structures of barriers could be adjusted by junction interface and domain boundary condition in terms of the presence of spin–orbital fl uctuating.

Vortex density current in the Gross-Pitaevskii theory is studied. It is shown that the inner structure of the topological vortices can be classified by Brouwer degrees and Hopf indices of φ-mapping. The dynamical equations of vortex density current have been given. The bifurcation behavior at the critical points of the current is discussed in detail.

L-dopa(l-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine)-induced dyskinesia(LID)is a debilitating complication of dopamine replacement therapy for Parkinson’s *** potential contribution of striatal D_(2) receptor(D2R)-positive neurons and downstream circuits in the pathophysiology of LID remains *** this study,we investigated the role of striatal D_(2)R+neurons and downstream globus pallidus externa(GPe)neurons in a rat model of *** administration of raclopride,a D_(2)R antagonist,significantly inhibited dyskinetic behavior,while intrastriatal administration of pramipexole,a D_(2)-like receptor agonist,yielded aggravation of dyskinesia in LID *** photometry revealed the overinhibition of striatal D_(2)R+neurons and hyperactivity of downstream GPe neurons during the dyskinetic phase of LID *** contrast,the striatal D2R+neurons showed intermittent synchronized overactivity in the decay phase of *** with the above findings,optogenetic activation of striatal D_(2)R+neurons or their projections in the GPe was adequate to suppress most of the dyskinetic behaviors of LID *** data demonstrate that the aberrant activity of striatal D_(2)R+neurons and downstream GPe neurons is a decisive mechanism mediating dyskinetic symptoms in LID rats.

Transonic flow of moist air around an NACA 0012 airfoil with non-equilibrium condensation

The classical condensation model of water vapor is coupled with the Euler equations to calculate transonic flows of moist air with non-equilibrium condensation. By means of this model, numerical computations are implemented to investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of an NACA 0012 airfoil in transonic flows of moist air at various angles of attack and relative humidities, and the results are compared with those in dry air flows. For different angles of attack considered at 50% relative humidity, the lift decreases 30%—40%. The pressure drag increases when the angle of attack is smaller than 1.4° and decreases when higher than 1.4°. At zero angle of attack, with the relative humidity rising from zero to 90%, the pressure drag increases exponentially. At 90% relative humidity, the pressure drag increases 160%, and self-oscillation takes place periodically and alternately over the upper and lower surfaces of the airfoil. The oscillation is caused by the interactions of local supersonic flow and heat release in the condensation process.

Seismic monitoring is one of the most important approaches for ground-based nuclear explosion monitoring. In order to improve the monitoring capability for low magnitude seismic events, a seismic information system was developed by using the technologies of geographic information system and database. This paper describes the designing and critical technologies of the Seismic Information System in CTBT Verification developed based on ArcGIS and ORACLE platforms. It is a combination of the database storage framework, application programming interface and graphic application software for users to meet their monitoring objectives. Combining the ArcSDE Geodatabase, RDBMS ORACLE and ArcObjects developing technique on COM, not only the multi-sources data has been seamlessly integrated, but also the most functions of ORACLE, for example, consistency, concurrent access, security mechanism, etc, have been reserved. For easy access to the information system we develop two different mechanisms. The first is a menu-driven internal system that is run on NT platforms. The second access mechanism is based on LAN and easily accessible by any web browsers.
