The role of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(auto-HSCT)following high-dose chemotherapy has been validated and accepted as a standard treatment for patients with relapsed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).However,its clinical efficacy as frontline therapy remains to be *** study aimed to examine the feasibility of frontline auto-HSCT for newly diagnosed intermediate/high-risk DLBCL *** retrospectively reviewed the data of 223 patients treated with frontline auto-HSCT or chemotherapy alone(year 2008-2014)from four *** median follow-up time was 29.4 *** the two treatment arms among the intermediate/high-risk DLBCL patients,the 3-year overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)rates of patients given frontline auto-HSCT were 87.6%and 81.9%,respectively,and the chemotherapy-alone group showed 3-year OS and PFS rates of 64.9%and 59.59%,*** with the chemotherapy-alone group,the frontline auto-HSCT could eliminate the adverse impact of non-germinal center B-cell(GCB)*** addition,in the frontline auto-HSCT group,patients who achieved complete response(CR)at auto-HSCT had a longer survival time than those who did not achieve *** results suggested that frontline auto-HSCT could improve the prognosis of intennediate/high-risk DLBCL patients.

AIM:To investigate the effect of hyperthermia on hy-poxia-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells, and its mechanism. METHODS:Cells were treated with hyperthermia at 43 ℃ for 0.5 h, followed by incubation under hypoxic or normoxic conditions for 72 h. Cell morphology was observed. Expressions of E-cadherin and vimentin were determined by immunofluorescence assay or Western blot. The protein and mRNA expressions of Snail were also determined by Western blot and reverse transcrip-tion-polymerase chain reaction. Cell migratory capacity was evaluated. RESULTS:Hypoxia induced EMT in HepG2 cells, which was evidenced by morphological, molecular and func-tional changes, including the formation of a spindle shape and the loss of cell contact. The expression of E-cadherin was decreased but the expression of vimentin was increased; also, the migratory capability was increased by 2.2 ± 0.20-fold as compared with normoxia. However, those effects were inhibited by hyperthermia pretreatment. Furthermore, protein synthesis and mRNA expression of Snail in the cells were enhanced by hy-poxia as compared with normoxia, and also significantly inhibited by hyperthermia pretreatment. CONCLUSION:Hyperthermia may inhibit hypoxia-induced EMT in HepG2 HCC cells, and the mechanism may involve inhibition of induced expression of Snail.

Coronary artery anomalies are a kind of rare congenital coronary disease most of which are nonmalignant and asymptomatic,while some could lead to severe clinical manifestations and even sudden cardiac ***,we reported an atypical anomaly of a double right coronary artery with no obvious atherosclerosis on angiograms,in a 51-year-old woman who showed mild symptoms and had ischemic signs on *** anomaly is neither similar to the typical appearances of a split right coronary artery nor a large right ventricle branch,is probably account for the potential risk of myocardial ischemia and highly likely to be missed during coronary angiography.

[Objectives]To analyze the efficacy of Compound Qingdai Capsule in the treatment of psoriasis and conduct a systematic evaluation.[Methods]The clinical total effective rate,PASI index score,IL-17 level,IL-23 level,TNF-level,and adverse reactions were *** 0.9 software was used to conduct sequential analysis of the total effective rate,and subgroup analysis was performed according to the average age of the experimental group.[Results]Single application of Compound Qingdai Capsule or in combination with other methods in the treatment of psoriasis was superior to non-Compound Qingdai Capsule group,and the side effects were less than non-Compound Qingdai Capsule group;the n≥40 year-old group had certain heterogeneity,suggesting that the difference was statistically significant,and the effective rate was higher than that of the control *** funnel plot showed that the graph was asymmetrical,and there may be publication bias or the possibility of low-quality *** TSA results indicated that the actual sample size was far lower than the expected sample size,and the cumulative Z value did not reach the TSA cut-off value and more trials need to be included to confirm the efficacy.[Conclusions]Compound Qingdai Capsule has a clear curative effect on psoriasis,and its safety is *** study can provide relevant evidence for the effectiveness of Chinese patent drugs(CPD)in treating psoriasis.
