The different crystal forms of CuPc have distinct properties. In this article XPS results of α β γ X-CuPc have been reported. The character of shake-up satellite peaks and valence band spectra in these CuPc compounds was also examined. It was found that the difference of X-CuPc with other crystal forms of CuPc is obvious. XPS study on different crystal forms of CuPc has not been reported previously.
