Demand-side Management Based on Model Predictive Control in Distribution Network for Smoothing Distributed Photovoltaic Power Fluctuations

With the rapid increase of distributed photovoltaic(PV) power integrating into the distribution network(DN), the critical issues such as PV power curtailment and low equipment utilization rate have been caused by PV power fluctuations. DN has less controllable equipment to manage the PV power fluctuation. To smooth the power fluctuations and further improve the utilization of PV, the regulation ability from the demandside needs to be excavated. This study presents a continuous control method of the feeder load power in a DN based on the voltage regulation to respond to the rapid fluctuation of the PV power output. PV power fluctuations will be directly reflected in the point of common coupling(PCC), and the power fluctuation rate of PCCs is an important standard of PV ***, a demand-side management strategy based on model predictive control(MPC) to mitigate the PCC power fluctuation is proposed. In pre-scheduling, the intraday optimization model is established to solve the reference power of PCC. In real-time control, the pre-scheduling results and MPC are used for the rolling optimization to control the feeder load demand. Finally,the data from the field measurements in Guangzhou, China are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in smoothing fluctuations of the distributed PV power.

A composite was created by incorporating the quantum dot-enhanced SiO_(2)nanoparticles within this *** on this composite,a temperature-controlled fluorescent probe for DCP was developed.A meticulous examination of this probe revealed its attributes and factors affecting its *** using temperature modulation,the probe was adept at detecting DCP concentrations ranging between 1.0×10^(-6)and 9.0×10^(-6)mol/*** a probe offers remarkable selectivity,repeatability,and robust stability,so that the detection of DCP can be carried out at different temperatures,and a fast,reliable,sensitive and low-cost intelligent detection method is realized.

Essential oil of the subterranean part of Cacalia tangutica(Maxim.)Hand.-Mazz was analyzed by gas chromatography(GC)-mass spectrum(MS)technique in two different capillary columns of different ***-one components were identified in the oil and the main compounds were a-zingiberene(13.49%),germacrene D(10.76%),α-pinene(8.54%),caryophyllene(Z-)(6.36%),linalool(6.16%),β-myrcene(4.89%),β-ocimene(Z-)(4.40%)and ocimenone(Z-)(3.58%).The antimicrobial activity of the oil was evaluated against 2 fungi and 12 bacteria including 6 clinically isolated strains using the agar disc diffusion and broth microdilution *** results show that the oil presented a broad antimicrobial spectrum and had better antimicrobial activity against yeast and gram-positive *** minimum inhibitory concentration values were 0.16–5.00 g/L and minimum bactericidal concentration values were 0.16–5.00 g/L.

Optimization on cut-hole of mining tunnel excavation

The efficiency of excavation a mining tunnel is definitely linked with modes of cut-holes. According to experience and methods of engineering analogy, the double-wedge cut, the 9-hole cut and the single spiral cut were determined originally by considering the production conditions and blasting environment of the mining tunnels of the-74 m horizontal in the Da-ye iron mine. Based on acquired modes of cut-holes, the effect of the cut was studied, on the one hand, by a numerical simulation method with the aid of LS-DYNA3D, a nonlinear dynamic finite element program; on the other hand, a spot experiment was carried out in the mining tunnels. Both the numerical simulation and the spot experiment demonstrated and agreed that a single spiral cut provides the optimum excavation effect.

In order to realize working state remote monitoring for a passive net, alarm timely and correctly for the rockfall invasion, and solve the disadvantages in the existing means, such as needing power supply in situ, vulnerability to electromagnetic interference and environmental climate impact, a smart passive net structure based on the optical fiber sensing technology was designed which equipped with intercepting and sensing functions. The wire rope net as one part of the smart passive net was weaved with two kinds of optical fiber sensing elements, namely, fiber Bragg grating （FBG） perimeter severity sensors and optical fiber monitoring net with each end of the tail fiber containing an FBG probe. Based on the proposed smart structure, a combination alarm strategy for rockfall was proposed, which can distinguish transmission bug, whether the rockfall invasion or net broken occurs. Through a designed simulation test, the effectiveness of the proposed alarm strategy was certificated.

Side-Channel Attacks in a Real Scenario

Existing Side-Channel Attacks （SCAs） have several limitations and, rather than to be real attack methods, can only be considered to be security evaluation methods. Their limitations are mainly related to the sampling conditions, such as the trigger signal embedded in the source code of the encryption device, and the acquisition device that serves as the encryption-device controller. Apart from it being very difficult for an attacker to add a trigger into the original design before making an attack or to control the encryption device, there is a big gap in the capacity of existing SCAs to pose real threats to cipher devices. In this paper, we propose a new method, the sliding window SCA （SW-SCA）, which can be applied in scenarios in which the acquisition device is independent of the encryption device and for which the encryption source code requires no trigger signal or modification. First, we describe the main issues in existing SCAs, then we theoretically analyze the effectiveness and complexity of our proposed SW-SCA --a method that can incorporate a sliding-window mechanism into almost all of the existing non-profiled SCAs. The experimental results for both simulated and physical traces verify the effectiveness of the SW-SCA and the appropriateness of its theoretical complexity.

The SSA-BP-based potential threat prediction for aerial target considering commander emotion

The target's threat prediction is an essential procedure for the situation analysis in an aerial defense ***,the traditional threat prediction methods mostly ignore the effect of commander's *** only predict a target's present threat from the target's features itself,which leads to their poor ability in a complex *** aerial targets,this paper proposes a method for its potential threat prediction considering commander emotion(PTP-CE)that uses the Bi-directional LSTM(BiLSTM)network and the backpropagation neural network(BP)optimized by the sparrow search algorithm(SSA).Furthermore,we use the BiLSTM to predict the target's future state from real-time series data,and then adopt the SSA-BP to combine the target's state with the commander's emotion to establish a threat prediction ***,the target's potential threat level can be obtained by this threat prediction model from the predicted future state and the recognized *** experimental results show that the PTP-CE is efficient for aerial target's state prediction and threat prediction,regardless of commander's emotional effect.

Dynamic and Static Recrystallization Behaviour of Coarse-grained Austenite in a Nb-V-Ti Microalloyed Steel

The dynamic recrystallization （DRX） and static recrystallization （SRX） behaviour of coarse-grained aus- tenite in a Nb-V-Ti microalloyed steel were studied by using a Gleeble thermomechanical simulator. Continuous and interrupted compression tests of coarse-grained austenite were performed in the temperature range of 1000-1 150 ℃ at a strain rate of 0. 1- 5 s 1. The peak and critical strains for the onset of DRX were identified with strain hardening rate analysis, and the ratio of critical strain to peak strain was found to be consistent with the one reported for fine- grained austenite. An equation of the time for 50% softening was proposed by considering the activation energy of steel without microalloying elements and the solute drag effect of microalloying elements. Strain-induced precipitation may not take place at the deformation temperature above 1000 ℃, which indicates that SRX of coarse-grained aus- tenite is mainly retarded by coarse grain size and Nb in solution during rough rolling.
