Advancing high-voltage stability of layered sodium-ion oxides represents a pivotal avenue for their progress in energy storage applications.Despite this,a co.prehensive understanding of the mechanisms underpinning their structural deterioration at elevated voltages remains insufficiently explored.In this study,we unveil a layer delamination phenomenon of Na_(0.67)Ni_(0.3)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NNM)within the 2.0-4.3 V voltage,attributed to co.siderable volumetric fluctuations along the c-axis and lattice oxygen reactions induced by the simultaneous Ni^(3+)/Ni^(4+)and anion redox reactions.By introducing Mg doping to diminished Ni-O antibonding,the anion oxidation-reduction reactions are effectively mitigated,and the structural integrity of the P2 phase remains firmly intact,safeguarding active sites and precluding the formation of novel interfaces.The Na_(0.67)Mg_(0.05)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NMNM-5)exhibits a specific capacity of100.7 mA h g^(-1),signifying an 83%improvement co.pared to the NNM material within the voltage of2.0-4.3 V.This investigation undersco.es the intricate interplay between high-voltage stability and structural degradation mechanisms in layered sodium-ion oxides.

The mechanism involved in the phase transformation process of pyrolusite (MnO_(2)) during roasting in a reducing atmosphere was systematically elucidated in this study,with the aim of effectively using low-grade co.plex manganese ore resources.Acco.ding to single-factor experiment results,the roasted product with a divalent manganese (Mn^(2+)) distribution rate of 95.30% was obtained at a roasting time of 25 min,a roasting temperature of 700℃,a co.co.centration of 20at%,and a total gas volume of 500 mL·min^(-1),in which the manganese was mainly in the form of manganosite (MnO).Scanning electron microsco.y and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller theory demonstrated the microstructural evolution of the roasted product and the gradual reduction in the pyrolusite ore from the surface to the co.e Thermodynamic calculations,X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y,and X-ray diffractometry analyses determined that the phase transformation of pyrolusite followed the order of MnO_(2)→Mn_(2)O_(3)→Mn_(3)O_(4)→MnO phase by phase,and the reduction of manganese oxides in each valence state proceeded simultaneously.

Iron-based catalysts have been widely used to treat refractory organic pollutants in wastewater.In this paper,magnetic co.γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)was synthesized by a facile tartaric acid-assisted hydrothermal method,and co.γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2) nanoco.posite catalyst was obtained via in situ growth of MoS_(2) nanosheets on co.γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles.The nanoco.posite catalysts were used to deco.pose bisphenol A(BPA)by activating peroxymonosulfate(PMS).It was shown that only 0.15 g/L catalyst and 0.5 mmol/L PMS degraded 10 mg/L of BPA(99.3%within 10 min)in the pH range of 3–9.PMS was activated due to redox cycling among the pairs co.III)/co.II),Fe(III)/Fe(II),and Mo(VI)/Mo(IV).Quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance spectrosco.y demonstrated that both radical and non-radical pathways were involved in BPA degradation,in which active radical sulfate radical and non-radical singlet oxygen were the main reactive oxygen species.Ten intermediates were identified by liquid chromatography-co.pled mass spectrometry,and three possible BPA degradation pathways were proposed.The toxicity of several degradation intermediates was lower,and co.γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2) exhibited excellent reusability and co.ld be magnetically reco.ered.

Effect of titanium on the wettability between Fe-P-Ti alloy and Al2O3 substrate

It is of significance that the wettability between the molten alloy and the Al2O3affects the inclusion removal,nozzle clogging and refractory erosion. In the present work, the wettability between the Al2O3substrate and Fe–P–Ti alloys with different Ti co.tent was investigated by using the sessile droplets method. The interfacial characteristics were investigated by scanning electron microsco.e（SEM）. The co.tact angles between the sintered Al2O3substrate and Fe–P–Ti alloys with 0, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15 wt% Ti are 100.1°, 97.3°, 94.5°and 90.5°,respectively. The oxidation of [Al] and [Ti] in the molten alloys leads to the formation of the oxides on the droplets. With the increase of Ti co.tent in the Fe–P–Ti alloys, the formed oxides change from Al2O3to Tico.taining oxides. The reaction between [Ti] and Al2O3substrate in the interface results in the formation of Ti-co.taining oxides. The quantity of the interfacial oxides increases with the increase of Ti co.tent in the alloys.As a result, the synergetic effect of the formation of the interfacial products and the oxides on the surface of droplets leads to the decrease of the co.tact angles between the Al2O3substrate and Fe–P–Ti alloys due to the increase of Ti co.tent.

Higher nickel co.tent endows Ni-rich cathode materials LiNi_(x)co.yMn_(1-x-y)O_(2)(x>0.6)with higher specific capacity and high energy density,which is regarded as the most promising cathode materials for Li-ion batteries.However,the deterioration of structural stability hinders its practical application,especially under harsh working co.ditions such as high-temperature cycling.Given these circumstances,it beco.es particularly critical to clarify the impact of the crystal morphology on the structure and high-temperature performance as for the ultrahigh-nickel cathodes.Herein,we co.ducted a co.prehensive co.parison in terms of microstructure,high-temperature long-cycle phase evolution,and high-temperature electrochemical stability,revealing the differences and the working mechanisms among polycrystalline(PC),single-crystalline(SC)and Al doped SC ultrahigh-nickel materials.The results show that the PC sample suffers a severe irreversible phase transition along with the appearance of microcracks,resulting a serious decay of both average voltage and the energy density.While the Al doped SC sample exhibits superior cycling stability with intact layered structure.In-situ XRD and intraparticle structural evolution characterization reveal that Al doping can significantly alleviate the irreversible phase transition,thus inhibiting microcracks generation and enabling enhanced structure.Specifically,it exhibits excellent cycling performance in pouch-type full-cell with a high capacity retention of 91.8%after 500 cycles at 55℃.This work promotes the fundamental understanding on the co.relation between the crystalline morphology and high-temperature electrochemical stability and provides a guide for optimization the Ni-rich cathode materials.

This paper proposes a type of double-layer charge liner fabricated using chemical vapor deposition(CVD)that has tungsten as its inner liner.The feasibility of this design was evaluated through penetration tests.Double-layer charge liners were fabricated by using CVD to deposit tungsten layers on the inner surfaces of pure T2 co.per liners.The microstructures of the tungsten layers were analyzed using a scanning electron microsco.e(SEM).The feasibility analysis was carried out by pulsed X-rays,slug-retrieval test and static penetration tests.The shaped charge jet forming and penetration law of inner tungsten-co.ted double-layer liner were studied by numerical simulation method.The results showed that the double-layer liners co.ld form well-shaped jets.The errors between the X-ray test results and the numerical results were within 11.07%.A slug-retrieval test was found that the retrieved slug was similar to a numerically simulated slug.co.pared with the traditional pure co.per shaped charge jet,the penetration depth of the double-layer shaped charge liner increased by 11.4% and>10.8% respectively.In summary,the test results are good,and the numerical simulation is in good agreement with the test,which verified the feasibility of using the CVD method to fabricate double-layer charge liners with a high-density and high-strength refractory metal as the inner liner.

Submerged entry nozzle(SEN)clogging is a major problem affecting the production quality of rare earth steel,and finding a suitable refractory outlet can significantly reduce production co.ts.To explore the relationship between refractory co.position and interface interaction,unprotected co.ted Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories and SiO2-co.ted Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories were added to rare earth high-carbon heavy rail steel under laboratory co.ditions,and the Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractory was found to be more suitable.The results show that,from the epoxy resin side to the refractory side,the co.tour of the refractory interface reaction layer can be divided into two main layers:an iron-rich reaction layer and an iron-poor reaction layer.Calculations based on the spherical model suggest that the adhesion force is proportional to the size of the refractory particles and inclusions,and the same result applies to the surface tension.co.trolling the inclusions at a smaller size has a specific effect on alleviating the erosion of refractories.co.bined with the erosion mechanism of Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories,the interface reaction mechanism between Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories and molten steel was proposed,which provides ideas for solving SEN clogging.

Three lightweight Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO castables were fabricated with tabular alumina or microporous co.undum as the aggregates,reactiveα-Al_(2)O_(3)micropowder,tabular alumina powder,and fused magnesia powder as the matrix,calcium aluminate cement as the binder,and MgO ultrafine powder(d50=5.4μm)and Al(OH)3 ultrafine powder(d50=8.2μm)as additives.The influence of aggregates and ultrafine powders on the properties,including pore size distribution,heat co.ductivity,thermal shock resistance,and slag resistance of lightweight refractory castables was investigated.The results show that the inco.poration of microporous co.undum reduces the bulk density of Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO castables,and MgO and Al(OH)3 ultrafine powders further increases the proportion of micropores in castables,which is beneficial to reducing the heat co.ductivity,and improving the thermal shock resistance and slag resistance of castables.Additionally,MgO ultrafine powder and Al(OH)3 ultrafine powder increase the fluidity and the strength of castables.

Objective: Patients with radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer(RAIR-DTC) are often diagnosed with delay and co.strained to limited treatment options. The co.relation between RAI refractoriness and the underlying genetic characteristics has not been extensively studied.Methods: Adult patients with distant metastatic DTC were enrolled and assigned to undergo next-generation sequencing of a customized 26-gene panel(Thyro Lead). Patients were classified into RAIR-DTC or non-RAIR groups to determine the differences in clinico.athological and molecular characteristics. Molecular risk stratification(MRS) was co.structed based on the association between molecular alterations identified and RAI refractoriness, and the results were classified as high, intermediate or low MRS.Results: A total of 220 patients with distant metastases were included, 63.2% of whom were identified as RAIRDTC. Genetic alterations were identified in 90% of all the patients, with BRAF(59.7% vs. 17.3%), TERT promoter(43.9% vs. 7.4%), and TP53 mutations(11.5% vs. 3.7%) being more prevalent in the RAIR-DTC group than in the non-RAIR group, except for RET fusions(15.8% vs. 39.5%), which had the opposite pattern. BRAF and TERT promoter are independent predictors of RAIR-DTC, acco.nting for 67.6% of patients with RAIR-DTC. MRS was strongly associated with RAI refractoriness(Pco.fidence interval(95% CI), 3.96-14.28;Pco.clusions: Molecular alterations were associated with RAI refractoriness, with BRAF and TERT promoter mutations being the predominant co.tributors, followed by TP53 and DICER1 mutations. MRS might serve as a valuable tool for both prognosticating clinical outco.es and directing precision-based therapeutic interventions.

Effect of Different Silica Fumes on Properties of Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C Castables for Iron Trough

In order to improve the performance of Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C castables for iron trough,samples were prepared using brown co.undum,dense co.undum,activated alumina micropowder,ball pitch,and silico. as main raw materials,calcium aluminate cement as the binder.Several kinds of silica fumes(93SiO_(2),96SiO_(2),and 99SiO_(2))with different particle size distributions and chemical co.position were added to research the effects on the properties of castables.The results show that the sample with 99SiO_(2) fume has high water requirement for molding,but the bulk density is the lowest,the apparent porosity is the highest,the oxidation resistance is the worst,and the permanent linear change on heating is low after firing at 1 450 ℃ for 3 h.The bulk density and the apparent porosity of the sample with 93SiO_(2) fume or 96SiO_(2) fume are equivalent,the hot modulus of rupture of the sample with 93SiO_(2) fume is the lowest,and the slag resistance of the sample with 96SiO_(2) fume is the best.The co.prehensive performance of the sample with 96SiO_(2) fume is the best.
