Effect of Biostimble Therapy on Gastrointestinal Function Recovery after Gynecological Surgery

Objective:To clarify the effectiveness and safety of the Biostimble therapeutic instrument in postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction in ***:Eighty cases of gynecological surgery patients from Changle County People's Hospital in shandong province were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 40 patients in each ***-frequency pulse electrical stimulation on the Zu San Li acupoint with Biostimble therapy instrument was carried in the experimental *** pads were arranged at the location of the bilateral Zu San Li acupoints,and the Biostimble treatment was applied twice a day for 30 minutes each *** patients in the control group received stand postoperative *** time of first anal venting,the time of recovery of bowel sounds,the duration of abdominal distension,the duration of abdominal pain,and the postoperative symptom score were observed in the two *** events were ***:Compared to the control group,the experimental group demonstrated significantly shorter bowel sound recovery time,first anal exhaust time(all P<0.001).The duration of abdominal distension was 23.79±5.12 hours,and the duration of abdominal pain was 30.15±4.24 hours in the experimental *** the duration of abdominal distension was 29.07±5.06 hours,and the duration of abdominal pain was 37.17±5.24 hours in the control *** was a significant difference between the two groups(All P<0.001).The mean postoperative symptoms scores in the experimental group(1.17±1.03)were lower than those in the control group(2.08±1.71)at the 72-hour after the operation(P=0.005).The complete recovery rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control *** difference in treatment outcome between experimental and control was statistically significant(P=0.013).Conclusion:Biostimble therapy instrument electrostimulation on Zu San Li acupoints can promote rapid recovery of gastrointestinal functi

By using the statistics of national economy with 19 industries of shandong province in 2003 and 2008 , both shift - share analysis of the traditional model and spatial model were applied to analysis the industrial competitiveness of 17 cities in shandong . The classical shift-share approach analyses the evolution of an economic magnitude between two periods identifying three components: a national effect, a sectoral effect and a competitive effect. The spatial shift-share approach analyses the evolution of an economic magnitude identifying three components: the national effect, industry mix neighboring regions-nation effect and the competitive neighboring regions effect. The results of the two models are below: Of all the three effects, the national effect is the most important to the economic growth of all the cities in shandong, and its contribution rate are above 80%. The rate of the total economy and the industries of all the cities were decided by their original amount. The comprehensive benefit of industries structure of Jinan, Qingdao, weifang, Zibo, Weihai, Liaocheng, Binzhou and Dezhou and their adjacent region are conducive to the city’s whole economic growth. The comprehensive benefits of industries structure of Heze, Rizhao and Jining and their adjacent areas are not conducive to the city’s whole economic growth. The industrial growth rate of Rizhao, Yantai, Linyi, Jinan, weifang, Binzhou and Jining were faster than the province and its neighboring regions, and their competitiveness were becoming stronger between 2003 and 2008. The industrial growth rate of Liaocheng, Dongying, Heze, Laiwu, Qingdao, Weihai, Dezhou and Zibo were slower than the whole province and its neighboring regions, and their competitiveness were becoming weaker between 2003 and 2008.

Plants establish symbioses with mutualistic fungi,such as arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi,and bacteria,such as rhizobia,to exchange key nutrients and *** and symbionts have coevolved and represent vital components of terrestrial *** employ an ancestral AM signaling pathway to establish intracellular symbioses,including the legume–rhizobia symbiosis,in their ***,the relationship between the AM and rhizobial symbioses in native soil is poorly ***,we examined how these distinct symbioses affect root-associated bacterial communities in Medicago truncatula by performing quantitative microbiota profiling(QMP)of 16S rRNA *** found that *** mutants that cannot establish AM or rhizobia symbiosis have an altered microbial load(quantitative abundance)in the rhizosphere and roots,and in particular that AM symbiosis is required to assemble a normal quantitative root-associated microbiota in native ***,quantitative microbial co-abundance network analyses revealed that AM symbiosis affects Rhizobiales hubs among plant microbiota and benefits the plant *** QMP of rhizobial rpoB and AM fungal SSU rRNA genes,we revealed a new layer of interaction whereby AM symbiosis promotes rhizobia accumulation in the rhizosphere of *** further showed that AM symbiosis-conditioned microbial communities within the *** rhizosphere could promote nodulation in different legume plants in native *** that the AM and rhizobial symbioses are critical for crop growth,our findings might inform strategies to improve agricultural ***,our work sheds light on the co-evolution of these intracellular symbioses during plant adaptation to native soil conditions.

Quantitative design of yield components to simulate yield formation for maize in China

Maize(Zea mays L.) stands prominently as one of the major cereal crops in China as well as in the rest of the ***,predicting the growth and yield of maize for large areas through yield components under high-yielding environments will help in understanding the process of yield formation and yield potential under different environmental *** accurate early assessment of yield requires accuracy in the formation process of yield components as *** order to formulate the quantitative design for high yields of maize in China,yield performance parameters of quantitative design for high grain yields were evaluated in this study,by utilizing the yield performance equation with normalization of planting *** density was evaluated by parameters including the maximum leaf area index and the maximum leaf area per *** showed that the variation of the maximum leaf area per plant with varying plant density conformed to the Reciprocal Model,which proved to have excellent prediction with root mean square error(RMSE) value of 5.95%.Yield model estimation depicted that the best optimal maximum leaf area per plant was 0.63 times the potential maximum leaf area per plant of *** performance parameters for different yield levels were quantitatively designed based on the yield performance *** validation of the yield performance model by simulating high yields of spring maize in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Jilin province,China,and summer maize in shandong province,the yield performance equation showed excellent prediction with the satisfactory mean RMSE value(7.72%) of all the *** present study provides theoretical support for the formulation of quantitative design for sustainable high yield of maize in China,through consideration of planting density normalization in the yield prediction process,providing there is no water and nutrient limitation.

Dormancy-associated MADS-box(DAM)genes serve as crucial regulators of the endodormancy cycle in rosaceous *** pear DAM genes have been identified previously,the lack of a high-quality reference genome and techniques to study gene function have prevented accurate genome-wide analysis and functional verification of such ***,the contribution of other genes to the regulation of endodormancy release remains poorly *** this study,a high-quality genome assembly for'Cuiguan'pear(Pyrus pyrifolia),which is a leading cultivar with a low chilling requirement cultivated in China,was constructed using PacBio and Hi-C *** this genome sequence,we revealed that pear DAM genes were tandemly clustered on Chr8 and Chr15 and were differentially expressed in the buds between'Cuiguan'and the high-chilling-requirement cultivar'Suli'during the dormancy *** a virus-induced gene silencing system,we determined the repressive effects of DAM genes on bud *** novel genes potentially involved in the regulation of endodormancy release were identified by RNA sequencing and H3K4me3 chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing analyses of‘Suli'buds during artificial chilling using the new reference *** findings enrich the knowledge of the regulatory mechanism underlying endodormancy release and chilling requirements and provide a foundation for the practical regulation of dormancy release in fruit trees as an adaptation to climate change.

Synthesis of atomic platinum with high loading on metal-organic sulfide

Synthesis of ultrafine noble metal with sizes down to nanoscale and even atomic scale is of great significance for heterogeneous catalysis. However, the metal loading is usually kept below 2 wt% due to the aggregation tendency at higher metal contents. Herein, by mimicking the multicentered metal sulfur cluster of metalloenzyme, a bioinspired synthesis of isolated noble metal atoms on the metal-organic sulfide(MOS) framework was reported. The sulfur-rich framework featuring [Mo_(3)S_(2)Br_(6)]^(2-) cluster as the building block and dithiol as the linking node was constructed via chemical bonding and employed to support atomic metal species. Remarkably, highly dispersed platinum atoms with a loading amount as high as 18.5 wt% on the underlying sulfurrich framework could be obtained after reduction. By increasing the number of benzene rings in the dithiol, the pore size and even the wettability of the MOS frameworks could be modulated. The general applicability of the synthesis could also be extended to the synthesis of atomic Pd. Furthermore,the Pt-loaded MOS could serve as the catalyst for selective hydrogenation of phenylacetylene to styrene in both organic solvent and pure water. Density function theory calculation demonstrated that the atomic Pt sites in the sulfur-rich coordination environment could activate H_(2) molecules and chemoselectively catalyze the semi-hydrogenation of phenylacetylene to styrene through moderately low energy *** metalation of such a versatile MOS framework will shed light on the synthesis of bioinspired catalytic materials with well-defined structures for more diverse applications.

Characterization of Hemicelluloses Extracted from Populus tomentosa Carr. by the Hydrothermal Method with Ethanol

The aim of this study was to investigate the hemicelluloses extracted from Populus tomentosa *** the hydrothermal method with *** influence of ethanol concentration on the hemicellulosic fractions was systematically *** chemical compositions and structural features of the hemicellulosic fractions were investigated by a combination of sugar analysis,gel-permeation chromatography,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and one-dimensional proton and carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance,and two-dimensional heteronuclear single quantum coherence *** sugar analysis of the hemicellulosic fractions revealed that a higher ethanol concentration(45%~80%) favored the isolation of hemicelluloses with more side chains and lower glucose *** molecular weights of these polysaccharides ranged between 2842 g/mol and 5101 g/*** results of this study indicate that the hydrothermal ethanol process provides a new pretreatment strategy for the isolation and extraction of biomass.

Background:Current treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing gastric cancer at third-line have shown limited clinical ***,there is no specific treatment for HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)2+and fluorescence in-situ hybridization-negative ***,we report the efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 antibody RC48 for patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction ***:Patients with HER2-overexpressing(IHC 2+or 3+),locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who were under at least second-line therapy were eligible and received RC482.5 mg/kg alone every 2 *** primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR)assessed by an independent review *** endpoints included progressionfree survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),duration of response,time to progression,disease control rate,and ***:Of 179 patients screened,125 were eligible and received RC48 *** ORR was 24.8%(95%confidence interval[CI]:17.5%-33.3%).The median PFS and OS were 4.1 months(95%CI:3.7-4.9 months)and 7.9 months(95%CI:6.7-9.9 months),*** most frequently reported adverse events were decreased white blood cell count(53.6%),asthenia(53.6%),hair loss(53.6%),decreased neutrophil count(52.0%),anemia(49.6%),and increased aspartate aminotransferase level(43.2%).Serious adverse events(SAEs)occurred in 45(36.0%)patients,and RC48-related SAEs were mainly decreased neutrophil count(3.2%).Seven patients had adverse events that led to death were not ***:RC48 showed promising activity with manageable safety,suggesting potential application in patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who have previously received at least two lines of chemotherapy.
