Developing highly robust and efficient electrode materials is of critical importance to promoting the energy density of current supercapacitors for ***,we report an efficient catalyst with monodispersed Mn single-atoms embedded in carbon nanotubes(Mn-CNTs)for enhancing the electrode performance of supercapacitors.A high specific capacitance(1523.6 F·g^(-1) at 1.0 A·g^(-1))can be achieved,which is about twice as high as the specific capacitance of the electrode material without the introduction of Mn ***,the asymmetric electrochemical capacitor created with Mn-CNT and activated carbon exhibits a high energy density of 180.8 Wh·kg^(-1) at a power density of 1.4 kW·kg^(-1),much higher than most reported *** study shows that the integration of Mn atoms into the CNT can enhance the charge transport capacity and the number of polar active sites of Mn-CNT and then facilitate chemical interactions between Mn-CNT and OH-.This work provides a novel strategy to enable high-energy storage in supercapacitors by introducing single-atoms into carbon nanotubes to improve electrodes’energy density and cycle life.

The state-selective cross section data are useful for understanding and modeling the x-ray emission in celestial *** the present work,using the cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy,for the first time we investigated the state-selective single electron capture processes for S^(q+)–He and H_(2)(q=11–15)collision systems at an impact energy of q×20 keV and obtained the relative state-selective cross *** results indicate that only a few principal quantum states of the projectile energy level are populated in a single electron capture *** particular,the increase of the projectile charge state leads to the population of the states with higher principal quantum *** is also shown that the experimental averaged n-shell populations are reproduced well by the over-barrier *** database is openly available in Science Data Bank at 10.57760/sciencedb.j00113.00091.

Recent work has validated a new method for estimating the grain size of microgranular materials in the range of tens to hundreds of micrometers using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS).In this situation,a piecewise univariate model must be constructed to estimate grain size due to the complex dependence of the plasma formation environment on grain *** the present work,we tentatively construct a unified calibration model suitable for LIBS-based estimation of those grain ***,two unified multivariate calibration models are constructed based on back-propagation neural network(BPNN)algorithms using feature selection strategies with and without considering prior *** detailed analysis of the performances of the two multivariate models,it was found that a unified calibration model can be successfully constructed based on BPNN algorithms for estimating the grain size in the range of tens to hundreds of *** was also found that the model constructed with a priorguided feature selection strategy had better prediction *** study has practical significance in developing the technology for material analysis using LIBS,especially when the LIBS signal exhibits a complex dependence on the material parameter to be estimated.

Analog feature extraction(AFE)is an appealing strategy for low-latency and efficient cognitive sensing systems since key features are much sparser than the Nyquist-sampled ***,applying AFE to broadband radio-frequency(RF)scenarios is challenging due to the bandwidth and programmability bottlenecks of analog electronic ***,we introduce a photonics-based scheme that extracts spatiotemporal features from broadband RF signals in the analog *** feature extractor structure inspired by convolutional neural networks is implemented on integrated photonic circuits to process RF signals from multiple antennas,extracting valid features from both temporal and spatial *** of the tunability of the photonic devices,the photonic spatiotemporal feature extractor is trainable,which enhances the validity of the extracted ***,a digital-analog-hybrid transfer learning method is proposed for the effective and low-cost training of the photonic feature *** validate our scheme,we demonstrate a radar target recognition task with a 4-GHz instantaneous *** results indicate that the photonic analog feature extractor tackles broadband RF signals and reduces the sampling rate of analog-to-digital converters to 1/4 of the Nyquist sampling while maintaining a high target recognition accuracy of 97.5%.Our scheme offers a promising path for exploiting the AFE strategy in the realm of cognitive RF sensing,with the potential to contribute to the efficient signal processing involved in applications such as autonomous driving,robotics,and smart factories.

MXene is a promising electrode material for both high volumetric capacitance and high-rate performance in ***,the current study has mainly focused on the monometallic element Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene until now,while the bimetallic and multimetallic MXene have received comparatively less *** this work,we demonstrate that the electronic structure of the Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene could be regulated by fine-tuning the content of doped Nb *** enhanced electron cloud density of surface–O termination and the electron spin of the Mo atoms in the Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene,leads to the boost of electric double-layer capacitor(EDLC)and improvement of *** a consequence,the electrochemical performance of Nb-doped Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene(Nb-0.3-MXene)demonstrates a capacitance of 398 F·cm^(−3),roughly doubling that of the pristine Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene electrode at 197 F·cm^(−3) in the 3 M H_(2)SO_(4) *** the same time,the Nb-0.3-MXene could even maintain a capacitance of 82.75% at 200 mV·s−1,with high cyclic stability for 19,000 cycles at 10 A·g−***,Nb-0.3-MXene-based hybrid supercapacitors deliver a remarkable volumetric energy density of 48.1 W·h·L^(−1)at 230.7 W·L^(−1),and 34.4 W·h·L^(−1)at a high power density of 82.6 kW·L^(−1).There exists a balance between the volumetric capacitance and rate performance with different ratios of Nb atoms in the Nb-doped MXene due to the strong interaction between the Nb-doped MXene and the intercalated ***,optimizing the electronic structure of MXene through heteroatom doping is of great potential for enhanced supercapacitor performance.

High-cost pre-alloyed powder is the bottleneck problem that limits the widespread application of additivemanufactured shape memory *** this work,the lowcost ternary NiTiFe shape memory alloy is fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)technique via mechanically mixed pre-alloy NiTi powder and varying contents pure Fe powder(1,2,3 wt%).All NiTiFe alloys show a relative density of up to 99.8%by optimizing the LPBF processing *** to the heterogeneous nucleation effect of micron-sized Fe particles,both grain refinement and texture weakening are generated in the NiTiFe alloys,accompanied by the reduction of dislocation *** the room-temperature mechanical properties,the NiTi-3Fe alloy shows the highest microhardness of HV370,but the fracture strength and elongation reduce to1701 MPa and 23%*** evolution of mechanical properties is attributed to the high internal defects,low dislocation density and the incoherent ***,the NiTi-3Fe alloy shows the quasi-linear superelasticity behavior;the superelastic recoverable strain of NiTi-1Fe and NiTi-2Fe decreased with the increase in Fe *** study provided a new-fangled insight for the development of multi-component NiTi-based shape memory alloys by additive manufacturing.

Efficient and selective glucose-to-fructose isomerization is a crucial step for production of oxygenated chemicals derived from sugars,which is usually catalyzed by base or Lewis acid heterogeneous ***,high yield and selectivity of fructose cannot be simultaneously obtained under mild conditions which hamper the scale of application compared with enzymatic ***,a Li-promoted C3N4catalyst was exploited which afforded an excellent fructose yield （40.3 wt%） and selectivity （99.5%） from glucose in water at 50~oC,attributed to the formation of stable Li–N bond to strengthen the basic sites of ***,the so-formed N6–Li–H2O active site on Li–C3N4catalyst in aqueous phase changes the local electronic structure and strengthens the deprotonation process during glucose isomerization into *** superior catalytic performance which is comparable to biological pathway suggests promising applications of lithium containing heterogeneous catalyst in biomass refinery.

Selection Method for New Energy Output Guaranteed Rates Considering Optimal Energy Storage Configuration

The output of new energy represented by wind power and photovoltaic power features volatility and randomness. It is a practical approach to use the guaranteed rate with statistical characteristics to analyze the output coefficient of new energy. However, there is a lack of analysis and demonstration on the value of the new energy output guaranteed rate. To solve this problem, a selection method for the new energy output guaranteed rate considering optimal energy storage configuration is proposed. First, the influence of the new energy output guaranteed rate on the new energy output coefficient is analyzed. Secondly, with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive costs, an optimal configuration model of energy storage based on the output guaranteed rate of new energy is constructed, and particle swarm optimization is used for the optimization solution. Then, according to the optimal energy storage configuration results under different guaranteed rates, a reasonable new energy output guaranteed rate is determined by maximizing the comprehensive benefits obtained from energy storage. Finally, an example applied to the power grid in an area of Guangdong in Southern China is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
