Wind shear reflects that the wind field is not uniform, which is one of the primary factors which make the retrieval of the wind field difficult. Based on volume velocity process(VVP) wind field retrieval technique, the intensity of wind shear is identified in this paper. After analyzing the traditional techniques that rely on the difference of radial velocity to identify wind shear, a fixed difference among radial velocities that may cause false identification in a uniform wind field was found. Because of the non-uniformity in wind shear areas, the difference of retrieved results between surrounding analysis volumes can be used as a measurement to show how strong the wind shear is. According to the analysis of a severe convective weather process that occurred in Guangzhou, it can be found that the areas of wind shear appeared with the strength significantly larger than in other regions and the magnitude generally larger than4.5 m/(s·km). Besides, by comparing the variation of wind shear strength during the convection, it can be found that new cells will be more likely to generate when the strength is above 3.0 m/(s·km). Therefore, the analysis of strong wind shear's movement and development is helpful to forecasting severe convections.

[ Objective] The research aimed to analyze triggered mechanism of a hail weather in Tianjin on July 10,2011. [Method] Using Micaps data, automatic meteorological observation data, sounding data and Doppler radar data, a hail process rarely happened in Daliutan Village, Yangli- uqing Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin City on July 10, 2011 was analyzed. Triggered mechanism of the hail weather was discussed. [ Result] The hail weather was generated by super cell which was triggered by sea breeze front and ground convergence interaction. Upper situation was in front of the forward tilted trough at bottom rear of the cold vortex, which was favorable for development of the strong convective weather. On ground map, water vapor transportation existed in easterly airflow at bottom rear of the high-pressure. Meanwhile, convergence zone also existed. It was wet lay- er over 0 ℃layer, and strong ascending motion existed, which was favorable for formation and development of the hail. Sea breeze front brought rich moisture, weak cold air and lifting effect when it moved toward inland from ocean, to make up for adverse conditions at low and middle layers. It could trigger a severely convective weather when moved to surface convergence zone. Doppler weather radar could monitor entire hail evolution process, [ Conclusion] The research had obvious guidance significance for judging hail process.

[Objective]The research aimed to analyze hail weather during 18：30-19：30 on August 21,2011.[Method]Based on NCEP 6 h reanalysis data,Micaps data and FY-2 satellite cloud image,weather situation field,meteorological element field and satellite cloud image of the hail during 18：30-19：30 on August 21,2011 were *** causes of the hail and characteristics of the satellite cloud image were *** summed up how to conduct prewarning analysis of the hail suppression weather from live weather data and numerical forecast products.[Result]In occurrence and development process of the hail weather,cold vortex at 500 hPa was background weather system.850 hPa warm tongue and ground wind shear were essential conditions for forming strong convective hail *** weather chart was *** could analyze occurrence reason of the weather from mechanism aspect of the weather system,and issue weather prewarning as early as *** forecast products were used to analyze meteorological element *** could further analyze and accurately predict probability,time and range of the hail *** satellite cloud image was more accurate for monitoring strong convective hail cloud,which could intuitively predict occurrence of the hail weather.[Conclusion]The research offered some hail suppression prewarning experiences for the future similar hail weather.

AIM: To investigate catalase (KatA) and alkyl hydroperoxide reductase (AhpC) antibodies of Helicobacter pylori as biomarkers for gastric cancer (GC). METHODS: This study included 232 cases and 264 controls. Recombinant KatA and AhpC proteins were constructed and the levels of antibodies were tested by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Logistic regression was applied to analyze the relationships between KatA, AhpC and GC. The chi(2) trend test was used to evaluate the dose-response relationships between serum KatA and AhpC antibody levels and GC. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the screening accuracy of KatA and AhpC as biomarkers. Combined analysis was used to observe screening accuracy of predictors for GC. RESULTS: In all subjects, the association between KatA and AhpC and GC risk was significant (P < 0.001) with odds ratio (OR) = 12.84 (95%CI: 7.79-21.15) and OR = 2.4 (95%CI: 1.55-3.73), respectively. KatA and AhpC antibody levels were strongly related to GC risk with a dose-dependent effect (P for trend < 0.001). The area under the ROC (AUC) for KatA was 0.806, providing a sensitivity of 66.81% and specificity of 86.36%; and the AUC for AhpC was 0.615, with a sensitivity of 75.65% and specificity of 45.49%. The AUC was 0.906 for KatA and flagella protein A (FlaA) combined analysis. CONCLUSION: Serum KatA and AhpC antibodies are associated with GC risk and KatA may serve as a biomarker for GC. KatA/FlaA combined analysis improved screening accuracy.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) has been far more devastating than expected, showing no signs of slowing down at present. heilongjiang province is the most northeastern province of China, and has cold weather for nearly half a year and an annual temperature difference of more than 60℃, which increases the underlying morbidity associated with pulmonary diseases, and thus leads to lung dysfunction. The demographic features and laboratory parameters of COVID-19 deceased patients in heilongjiang province, China with such climatic characteristics are still not clearly *** To illustrate the demographic features and laboratory parameters of COVID-19 deceased patients in heilongjiang province by comparing with those of surviving severe and critically ill *** COVID-19 deceased patients from different hospitals in heilongjiang province were included in this retrospective study and compared their characteristics with those of surviving severe and critically ill cases in the COVID-19 treatment center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University. The surviving patients were divided into severe group and critically ill group according to the Diagnosis and Treatment of New Coronavirus Pneumonia(the seventh edition).Demographic data were collected and recorded upon admission. Laboratory parameters were obtained from the medical records, and then compared among the *** Twelve COVID-19 deceased patients, 27 severe cases and 26 critically ill cases were enrolled in this retrospective study. No differences in age, gender, and number of comorbidities between groups were found. Neutrophil percentage(NEUT%), platelet(PLT), C-reactive protein(CRP), creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB), serum troponin I(TNI) and brain natriuretic peptides(BNP) showed significant differences among the groups(P = 0.020, P = 0.001, P < 0.001, P = 0.001, P < 0.001, P <0.001, respectively). AIM： To explore the expression and correlation of CD44v6, vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF）, matrix metalloproteinase （MMP）-2 and matrix metalloproteinase （MMP）-9 in Krukenberg and primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma. METHODS： The expressions of CD44v6, VEGF, MMP-2 and MMP-9 were detected by immunohistochemical method in 20 cases of normal ovarian tissues, 38 cases of Krukenberg tumor and 45 cases of primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma. RESULTS： The expression of CD44v6 （primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma tissue vs normal ovarian tissue： χ^2= 4.516, P= 0.034; Krukenberg tumor tissue vsnormal ovarian tissue： χ^2 = 19.537, P = 0.001） and VEGF （primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma tissue vs normal ovarian tissue： P = 0.026; Krukenberg tumor tissue vs normal ovarian tissue： χ^2 = 22.895, P = 0.001） was significantly higher in primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma tissue and Krukenberg tumor tissue than in normal ovarian tissue. The positive expression rate of MMP-2 and MMP-9 was 0% in the normal ovarian tissue. The positive expression rate of CD44v6 （ χ^2= 10.398, P= 0.001）, VEGF （ χ^2= 13.149, P = 0.001）, MMP-2 （ χ^2 = 33.668, P = 0.001） and MMP-9 （ χ^2= 38.839, P = 0.001） was remarkably higher in Krukenberg tumor than in primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma. The correlation of CD44v6, VEGF, MMP-2, and MMP-9 was observed in primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma and Krukenberg tumor. CONCLUSION： CD44v6, VEGF, MMP-2, and MMP-9 are involved in ovarian carcinoma, gastric cancer and Krukenberg tumor. Detection of CD44v6, VEGF, MMP-2 and MMP-9 may contribute to the diagnosis of ovarian carcinoma, gastric cancer, and Krukenberg tumor.

OBJECTIVE： To observe the impact of total flavo- noids from Ganshanbian （Herba Hyperici Attenuati） on the expression of vascular smooth muscle mem-brane L-type calcium channel alpha1 C subunit （CaL-olC） and ATP-sensitive K＋ channel （KATp）-Kir6.1 mRNA, and explore the mechanisms of the antiar- rhythmic effect of Ganshanbian （Herba Hyperici At- tenuatl~ total flavonoids. METHODS： The treatment vonoids from Ganshanbian group was fed total fla- （Herba Hyperici Attenua- ti） for 7 days by gavage with 100 mg. kg-~. d 1. The blank control group and model control group were given the same amount of normal saline for 7 do Ar- rhythmias were induced by performing a myocardi- al ischemia-reperfusion and electrocardiogram was observed. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expression of CaL-a 1Cand KATp-Kir6.1 mRNA in the myocardial cell mem- brane of all groups of rats. RESULTS： Total flavonoids from Ganshanbian （Her- ba Hyperici Attenuat can delay the appearance of myocardial ischemia reperfusion arrhythmias, shorten the duration of myocardial ischemia reper- fusion arrhythmias, reduce heart rate, reduce cell membrane expression of CaL-a1C mRNA and en- hance the expression of K_ATp-Kir6.1 mRNA in myocar- dial ischemia-reperfusion arrhythmic rats. CONCLUSION： Total flavonoids from Ganshanbian （Herba Hyperici Attenuat can alleviate arrhythmias by affecting the expression of L-type calcium chan- nels and ATP-sensitive K_ATP channels.
