Experimental Study for Effect of Multi-Site Spark Ignition on Dedicated Hybrid Engine Performance under High Dilution Condition

In this study,a triple spark ignition scheme was first designed on a three-cylinder 1.5-L dedicated hybrid engine（DHE）.On this basis,the effect of different ignition modes on engine combustion and emission characteristics was studied,especially under high dilution *** results tested at 2000 r/min and 0.8 MPa BMEP（brake mean effective pressure） show that with highly increased in-cylinder flow intensity,using only passive prechamber（PPC） has a lower lean limit than that with single central spark plug（CSP）,thereby leading to slightly higher minimum fuel consumption and nitrogen oxides（NOx） *** side spark plugs（SSP）based on PPC can result in improved capability of lean limit extension and engine performance than ***,the improvement level is lower than that with triple spark plugs（TSP）.As the excess air ratio λincreases,the advantage of PPC and PPC with SSP in improving the combustion phasing compared with CSP gradually ***,the increasing tendency of their ignition delay and combustion duration is more *** added SSP based on PPC can effectively shorten the ignition delay of leaner mixture,but the combustion duration can be only slightly *** a result,under extremely lean condition,the advantage of PPC and PPC with SSP in terms of combustion characteristics over CSP becomes much *** contrast,the TSP ignition can achieve much shorter ignition delay and combustion duration simultaneously under this *** to the highest available dilution level,the TSP ignition achieves the lowest raw ***,it can also reduce the raw carbon monoxide（CO） and hydrocarbons（HC） emissions compared to CSP due to a more thorough combustion of the end gas *** on the excellent performance of TSP,the highest engine brake thermal efficiency（BTE） was further *** results show that with normal RON 92 fuel,the engine finally achieved 43.69% and 45.02% BTE under stochiometric mode with exhaust

1 Introduction Aromatics (mainly benzene, toluene, and xylenes, BTX) are essential intermediates in the chemical industry. They are employed in the synthesis of a broad spectrum of chemicals and materials, e.g., various polymers, plastics, resins, solvents, dyes, pharmaceuticals [1]. The manufacturing pathway of BTX mainly includes petroleum reforming of naphtha, coal-to-aromatics, methanol-to-aromatics [2].

In this study, we determined the granite ages in the middle to east Gangdese batholith. Zircon ages from these granites are 57.6-68.7 Ma, indicating that intrusions were formed in the Late Cretaceous to early Paleocene. The large-ion lithophile elements are highly enriched, whereas some high-field-strength elements are depleted. The Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic characteristics are similar to those of the Dianzhong volcanics in the Linzhou Basin, indicating the same origin and tectonic environment. The samples show positive εHf（t） values that are slightly lower than the values for the Linzizong volcanics, the Quxu intrusion, and other intrusions in middle Gangdese. We conclude that our samples, the Linzizong volcanics, and most main-collisional intrusions are derived from the same source with different ratios of crust and mantle input. On the basis of geological, geochemical, geochronological, and isotopic information, we conclude that the Late Cretaceous to Paleogene evolution of Gangdese can be divided into three stages. First, the collision began at 70-60 Ma, the same time as rollback of the Tethys Ocean slab. Second, during 60-50 Ma, slab breakoff triggered upwelling of the asthenosphere. Third, after 50 Ma, the Tethys Ocean slab＇s effect disappeared and the interaction between Indian and Asian crusts began influencing magmatism in Gangdese.

Rail weld irregularities are one of the primary excitation sources for vehicle-track interaction dynamics in modern high-speed *** can cause significant wheel-rail dynamic interactions,leading to wheel-rail noise,component damage,and *** researchers have employed the vehicle-track interaction dynamic model to study the dynamic interactions between wheel and rail induced by rail weld geometry ***,the cosine wave model used to simulate rail weld irregularities mainly focuses on the maximum value and neglects the geometric *** this study,novel theoretical models were developed for three categories of rail weld irregularities,based on measurements of the high-speed railway from Beijing to *** vertical dynamic forces in the time and frequency domains were compared under different running *** forces generated by the rail weld irregularities that were measured and modeled,respectively,were compared to validate the accuracy of the proposed ***,based on the numerical study,the impact force due to rail weld irrregularity is modeled using an Artificial Neural Network(ANN),and the optimum combination of parameters for this model is *** results showed that the proposed model provided a more accurate wheel/rail dynamic evaluation caused by rail weld irregularities than that established in the *** ANN model used in this paper can effectively predict the impact force due to rail weld irrregularity while reducing the computation time.

We have determined the ages of the ore-bearing Tinggong porphyries and the Eocene granites using the LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb *** from one adamellite porphyry and two diorite porphyries yield ages of 15.54±0.28 Ma,15.02±0.25 Ma and 14.74±0.22 Ma,*** ages of two granites are 50.48±0.71 Ma and 50.16±0.48 *** Rare Earth Elements （LREE） are enriched in the ore-bearing adamellite porphyries,which are high-K caic-alkaline and metaluminous,while Heavy Rare Earth Elements （HREE） and Y are strongly depleted,indicating an adakitic *** Large Ion Lithophile Elements （LILE） of the adamellite porphyries are highly enriched,whereas some High Field Strength Elements （HFSE） are *** diorite porphyry in this study is chemically similar to the adamellite porphyries,except that the Mg# of the diorite porphyry is a little higher,demonstrating more mantle *** samples from different rocks are selected for in situ zircon Hf isotopic *** samples show positive εHf（t） values and young Hf model ages,indicating their derivation from juvenile ***,the adamellite porphyry and diorite porphyry formed in the Miocene exhibit more heterogeneous Hf isotopic ratios,with lower （Σ）Hf （t） values than the granites formed in the Eocene,suggesting the involvement of old Indian continent crust in their *** geochronology and geochemistry of the adamellite porphyries and the diorite porphyries indicate that they formed from the same source region in a post-collisional environment,but contaminated by crust and mantle materials in different *** metallic minerals formed mainly during the older adamellite porphyry stage,but they were recycled and reactivated by the diorite porphyry intrusion.

In order to achieve the large-scale application of manufactured sand in railway high-strength concrete structure,a series of high-strength manufactured sand concrete(HMC)are prepared by taking the manufactured sand lithology(tuff,limestone,basalt,granite),stone powder content(0,5%,10%,15%)and concrete strength grade(C60,C80,C100)as *** evolution of mechanical properties of HMC and the correlation between cubic compressive strength and other mechanical properties are *** to river sand,manufactured sand enhances the cubic compressive strength,axial compressive strength and elastic modulus of concrete,while its potential microcracks weaken the flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of *** powder content displays both positive and negative effects on mechanical properties of HMC,and the stone powder content is suggested to be less than 10%.The empirical formulas between cubic compressive strength and other mechanical properties are proposed.

Amperometric Glucose Sensor Based on Batch CuO-Modified Screen-Printed Silver-Carbon Electrodes

CuO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via a two-jet electrospun method,and then screen-printed on silver-carbon electrodes,forming CuO-modified Ag-C(CuO/Ag-C)disposable strip *** natural environment condition for glucose detection,the obtained CuO/Ag-C electrodes show a high sensitivity of 540 nA·mM^(-1)·cm^(-2),and a low limit of detection(0.68 mM)in a wide linear response range of 0.68 mM and 3 mM(signal/noise=3),*** addition,the CuO/Ag-C electrodes also exhibit excellent anti-interference,air stability and *** a result,the fabrication of CuO nanoparticles via an electrospun process and the technique of screen-printed electrodes are of great significance for glucose detection.

Sulfide mineral dissolution microbes: Community structure and function in industrial bioleaching heaps

Heap bioleaching is one of the most clean and economical processes for recovery of low-grade and complex ores, because the sulfide minerals are natural habitats for acidophiles capable of iron-and sulfur-oxidation. The most exciting advances in heap bioleaching are occurring in the field of microbiology, especially with the development of advanced molecular biology approaches. These chemolithotrophic microorganisms living in the acid mine environment fix N_2 and CO_2 and obtain energy for growth from soluble ferrous iron and reduced inorganic sulfur compounds during oxidation of sulfide minerals. The ferric iron as oxidant and sulfuric acid are a result of microbial activity and provide favorable conditions for the dissolution of sulfide minerals. Various microbial consortia were applied successfully in commercial bioleaching heaps around the world, and microbial community and activity were adapted related to the local climatic conditions, ore characteristics and engineering configuration. This review focuses on diversity of bioleaching microbes, their role in heap bioleaching processes, their community structure and function in industrial heaps and the relation to the ore characteristics and the engineering configuration, to give implications for optimizing leaching efficiency of heap bioleaching.
