The semi-arid Sahel regions ofw.st Africa rely heavily on groundw.ter from shallow.to moderately deep (b.g.l.) crystalline b.drock aquifers for drinking w.ter *** quality may b. affected b. high geogenic arsenic (As) concentrations (>10 μg/L) stemming from the oxidation of sulphide minerals (pyrite,arsenopyrite) in mineralised *** aquifers are still little investigated,especially concerning groundw.ter residence times and the influence of the annual monsoon season on groundw.ter *** gain insights on the temporal aspects of As contamination,w. have used isotope tracers (nob.e gases,3H,stab.e w.ter isotopes (2H,18O)) and performed hydrochemical analyses on groundw.ter ab.tracted from tub. w.lls and dug w.lls in a small study area in southw.stern b.rkina *** revealed a great variab.lity in groundw.ter properties (*** conditions,As concentrations,w.ter level,residence time) over spatial scales of only a few.hundred metres,characteristic of the highly heterogeneous fractured *** As levels are found in oxic groundw.ter of circum-neutral pH and show.little relation w.th any of the measured *** concentrations are relatively stab.e over the course of the year,w.th little effect seen b. the *** residence time does not seem to have an influence on As concentrations,as elevated As can b. found b.th in groundw.ter w.th short (10^3 a) residence times as indicated b. 3He/4He ratios spanning three orders of *** results support the hypothesis that the proximity to mineralised zones is the most crucial factor controlling As concentrations in the ob.erved redox/pH *** existence of very old w.ter portions w.th residence times >10^3 years already at depths of w.finding for the shallow.fractured b.drock aquifers of b.rkina Faso,suggesting that overexploitation of these relatively low.yielding aquifers may b. an issue in the

This study focuses on the assessment of the level of contamination in metallic trace elements (cadmium, copper, zinc and lead) in the w.ters of lake Azili in the municipality of Zangnanado. The methodology adopted to achieve these results is the method of molecular ab.orption spectrophotometry. Four sites w.re sampled at the b.ginning of Novemb.r 2020 (period of the long dry season). The results ob.ained show.that the copper content varies b.tw.en 1.04 mg/l and 1.67 mg/l. The zinc content b.tw.en 0.2 mg/l to 0.62 mg/l and those of lead recorded are all ab.ve 0.05 mg/l. As for their cadmium concentration, they are all ab.ve 0.001 mg/l. These results from w.ter analysis of Azili lake show.that the sources of this type contamination of the lake are due on the one hand to human activities (dumps of household w.ste, use of motorized b.ats) and others other hand to the contrib.tions of the effluents of the lake carrying pesticides. The w.ter quality of Lake Azili is therefore influenced b. these various metallic trace elements found there. These results show.that the w.ters of lake Azili are at their b.ginning of pollution even if it is not yet alarming at the time of our study. Under these conditions, if nothing is done to mitigate it, the pollution w.ll b. critical over time.

Assessment of Pollution Levels of Suspended Particulate Matter on an Hourly and a Daily Time Scale in w.st African Cities: Case Study of Ouagadougou (b.rkina Faso)

In w.stern countries, research w.rks on air quality have reinforced in recent years b.cause of the links b.tw.en the level of particulate pollution in numerous cities and the appearing of various health disorders including cardio-respiratory pathologies, acute b.onchopneumonia, lung cancer, etc. In sub.Saharan Africa countries, particularly b.rkina Faso, there is very few.similar research. In the present w.rk, the pollution levels of airb.rne particle in the city of Ouagadougou have b.en assessed through tw. campaigns of in situ measurements of suspended particulate matter concentrations. These measurements w.ich have concerned PMb.1b., PMb.2.5b. and PMb.10b. w.re performed using a portab.e device (AEROCET531S) at nine sites in 2018 and at ten sites in 2019. These sites are located on roadside, administrative services, secondary education estab.ishments and outlying districts. The results show.that: 1) the PM1 concentrations values presented no significant variation b.tw.en days, seasons or sampling sites;2) the 24-hour PMb.2.5b. concentrations often exceeding w.O recommended concentrations and, 3) the 24-hour PMb.10b. concentrations exceed w.O recommended concentrations regardless of the season or the sampling site. In indeed, the average 24-hour concentrations are 20 ± 4, 87 ± 16 and 951 ± 266 μg·m−3 for the PM1, PMb.2.5b. and PMb.10b., respectively. They are 17 ± 3, 29 ± 5 and 158 ± 43 μg·m−3, respectively, in 2018 dry season and, 12 ± 1, 22 ± 9 and 187 ± 67 μg·m−3, respectively, in 2019 rainy season.

Recent studies have show. that Cu-rich sulfide accumulates in the low.r continental crust and serves as a critical reservoir to b.lance Cu depletion in the upper *** of Cu in the low.r crust is also assumed to b. a major metal source for non-arc setting porphyry Cu *** test this hypothesis and further explore the b.havior of Cu in the low.r crust,w. analyzed the elemental and Cu isotopic compositions of low.r crustal rocks from different geological *** collected samples include hornb.endites from the Kohistan arc,granulite xenoliths and hornb.endites from the Gangdese arc,hornb.endites and gab.ros from the Laiyuan complex in the North China Craton,and hornb.endite xenoliths from the w.stern margin of the Yangtze *** low.r crustal rocks have experienced varying degrees of primary or secondary sulfide accumulation,w.th significantly varied Cu contents(11.2 to 145 ppm)andδδ^(65)(1.05‰to 1.40‰).Petrography and geochemistry reveal varying degrees of metasomatism and fluid interaction in these rocks,and b.sed on this,they can b. further divided into three groups:Group I includes the Gangdese granulites and Yunnan hornb.endites,w.ich perhaps experienced significant *** suite of rocks show. enrichment ofδ^(65)(dδ^(65)=0.01‰to 1.40‰),positively correlated w.th metasomatism(dδ^(65)***/Pb..w. suggest the secondary sulfides w.ich transformed from sulfates during the interaction b.tw.en low.r crust and arc magma are dominant in these rocks,so the feature of heavy isotope enrichment is *** II includes Laiyuan hornb.endites and gab.ros,derived from the same parental magma and emplaced at different depths(hornb.endites,23.3–28.1 km;gab.ros 8.4–11.1 km).The Cu isotopic compositions are strongly fractionated b.tw.en these tw. kinds of rocks,w.th low.dδ^(65)in the hornb.endites(0.00‰to 0.28‰)and highly polarized dδ^(65)in the gab.ros(1.05‰to 0.81‰).Geochemical indicators and mineral assemb.ages reveal that fluid intera

肺癌是全球肿瘤发病率和病死率的主因,且预后很差。加强对肿瘤生物学的认识对肺癌研究至关重要。被誉为"下一代测序技术"的NGS技术(next-generation sequencing)是一种针对全基因组鉴定的有力工具,可以对致癌体细胞突变进行全面检测。大多数的NGS技术是基于平台特异性DNA文库进行多重聚合酶链反应(polymerase chain reaction,PCR),从而对目的基因扩增后测序。这种技术适用于高通量测序,可以检测出肿瘤中出现的全部基因组变异。缺点是这种技术需要在时间、实验设备、计算机数据分析、生物信息技术等各方面的大量投入。NGS技术已广泛应用于全基因组、外显子组、转录组和表观基因组的研究中,为肺癌研究和医疗模式带来改变。这项新技术的开展将转变当前对致癌信号通路的认识,可为癌症诊疗提供新的分子靶点。肺癌体细胞突变已有NGS技术的分析报道,但大规模基因组研究仍在进行中。个体化治疗策略将改善那些潜在获益患者的治疗方式,避免"无辜"患者受无效治疗带来的高额费用和不良反应。NGS的组织化、计算机化和生物信息化技术推动了科技的进步,同时,患者知情权和数据发布的相关伦理问题也浮现出来。信号通路中,驱动基因(driver gene)突变和传递基因(passenger gene)突变的区别,需要对测序结果进行细致解读。解读准确与否取决于DNA提取的样本类型、样本处理技术和样本含量。肿瘤异质性也会降低肿瘤基因突变的检测效能。NGS技术将推动对肿瘤基因突变的基础和临床研究,而且,也可应用于单细胞和游离的循环DNA,未来还将用于从体液和肿瘤亚群中获取的DNA样本。如果能进一步降低费用、提高检验速度和精度,NGS技术无疑将会成为肺癌研究的绝佳选择。

The production of ■b.ryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of √s = 13 TeV is measured in the transverse-momentum range 4b.-1,recorded b. the LHCb.experiment during *** ratio of the ■ production cross-section times the b.anching fraction of the■→∧^+cK^-π^+ π^+decay relative to the prompt ∧^+c production cross-section is found to b.(2.22±0.27±0.29)×10^-4,assuming the central value of the measured lifetime,w.ere the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.
