Kaapvaal lamproites(aka orangeites)are a group of volatile-rich(H_(2)O,CO_(2)),micaceous,ultrapotassic igneous rocks that are unique to the Kaapvaal craton in southern ***,the composition of the melts that give rise to these rocks remains poorly understood due to overprinting effects of contamination by mantle and crustal material,volatile exsolution,fractional crystallisation and post-magmatic ***,this lack of reliable data on the initial composition of the Kaapvaal lamproite melts hampers our understanding of their source,petrogenesis and ascent *** is a common mineral comprising the Kaapvaal lamproites that has both xenocrystic(i.e.,mantle)and magmatic *** inclusions(melt/fluid)entrapped within olivine have been consistently demonstrated as an effective tool for gaining fundamental insights into the composition and evolution of melts that produce both kimberlites and lamproites,prior to processes,such as eruption,devolatization and syn-/post-magmatic *** this study,multiphase inclusions of both secondary and pseudosecondary origin hosted in olivine from a Kaapvaal lamproite(silvery Home,south Africa)provide novel insights into the composition of the melt(s)that initially transported olivine to the surface and then crystallised after emplacement to form the lamproite *** inclusions in our study contain daughter mineral assemblages consisting of diverse Ca-Mg carbonates,including K-,Na-,Ba-,and sr-bearing varieties,moderate K-rich silicates(phlogopite,tetraferriphlogopite),and subordinate oxides,phosphates,sulphides,sulphates,and *** on these daughter mineral assemblages,we suggest that the composition of the melt entrapped by olivine was siO_(2)-poor,Ca-Mg carbonate-rich and contained elevated concentrations of K,Na,Ba,sr,P and *** mineral and reconstructed melt compositions are in stark contrast to the mineral association of the groundmass and the bulk-rock composition

In recent years,developing Artificial Intelligence(AI)models for complex system has become a popular research *** have been several successful AI models for predicting the selective Non-Catalytic Reduction(sNCR)system in power plants and large ***,all these models are in essence black box models and lack of explainability,which are not able to give new *** this study,a novel explainable AI(XAI)model that combines the polynomial kernel method with sparse Identification of Nonlinear Dynamics(sINDy)model is proposed to find the governing equation of sNCR system based on 5-year operation data from a power *** proposed model identifies the system’s governing equation in a simple polynomial format with polynomial order of 1 and only 1 independent variable among original 68 input *** addition,the explainable AI model achieves a considerable accuracy with less than 21%deviation from base-line models of partial least squares model and artificial neural network model.

This work considers a generalized fuzzy fractional smoking model with Caputo gHtypes fractional derivatives upon considering the case of uncertainty *** disease-free equilibrium point and stability of the equilibrium point have been discussed for the fuzzy nonlinear fractional smoking *** analytical proofs for the existence and uniqueness of the proposed model are concerned with the help of the fixed-point theorem,Banach contraction,and schauder theorem.A robust double parametric approach with a generalized transform is used to study the behavior of the fuzzy fractional model in an uncertain context and obtain the convergence analysis of the study in a crisp ***,the obtained results of the proposed model have been validated with the Runge-Kutta method of fourth order in crisp case(s=1,l=O).

PGE mineralization and melt composition of chromitites in Proterozoic ophiolite complexes of Eastern sayan,southern siberia

The Ospino-Kitoi and Kharanur ultrabasic massifs represent the northern and southern ophiolite branches respectively of the Upper Onot ophiolitic nappe and they are located in the southeastern part of the Eastern sayan（sEPEs ophiolites）.Podiform chromitites with PGE mineralization occur as lensoid pods within dunites and rarely in harzburgites or serpentinized *** chromitites are classified into type I and type Ⅱ based on their Cr~#.Type I（Cr~# = 59-85） occurs in both northern and southern branches,whereas type Ⅱ（Cr~# = 76-90） occurs only in the northern *** contents range from ∑PGE 88-1189 ppb,Pt/Ir0.04-0.42 to ∑PGE 250-1700 ppb,Pt/Ir 0.03-0.25 for type I chromitites of the northern and southern branches *** type Ⅱ chromitites of the northern branch have ∑PGE contents higher than that of type Ⅰ（468-8617 ppb,Pt/Ir 0.1-0.33）.Parental melt compositions,in equilibrium with podiform chromitites,are in the range of boninitic melts and vary in Al_2O_3,TiO_2 and FeO/MgO contents from those of type I and type Ⅱ *** melt compositions for type Ⅰ chromitites are（Al_2O_3）_（melt） = 10.6—13.5 wt.%,（TiO_2）_（melt） = 0.01-0.44 wt.%,（Fe/Mg）_（melt） = 0.42-1.81;those for type Ⅱ chromitites are：（Al_2O_3）_（melt） = 7.8-10.5 wt.%,（TiO_2）_（melt） = 0.01-0.25 wt.%,（Fe/Mg）_（melt） = *** are further divided into Os-Ir-Ru（Ⅰ） and Pt-Pd（Ⅱ） based on their PGE *** type Ⅰ chromitites show only the Os-Ir-Ru pattern whereas type Ⅱ shows both Os-Ir-Ru and Pt-Pd *** mineralization in type Ⅰ chromitites is represented by the Os-Ir-Ru system,whereas in type Ⅱ it is represented by the Os-Ir-Ru-Rh-Pt *** results indicate that chromitites and PGE mineralization in the northern branch formed in a suprasubduction setting from a fluid-rich boninitic melt during active ***,the chromitites and PGE mineralization of the southern branch could have formed in a spreading zone *** peridotites have

Method for passivation of propellant residues in orbital stage tank of launch vehicle

The problem of removing unused liquid propellant residues from the tanks of spent spacecraft and orbital stages of Launch vehicles(Lv)leads to their explosion and the formation of space debris in *** provide a solution to this problem,a method for removing liquid propellant residues from the Lv tanks after the mission completion is *** method is based on the gasification of liquid propellant residues in the tanks under acoustic-vacuum exposure and the discharge of the gasification products into the surrounding outer *** investigations were carried out on a Ground-based Experimental Installation(GEI)to determine the coefficient of heat transfer from the surface of an acoustic radiator to a *** obtained coefficient was then used to calculate the energy costs for the gasification of *** estimates are given on the example of the tank with kerosene residues from a spent second stage of the Lv“soyuz-2.1 v”.The optimal discharge rate at which kerosene does not freeze is 0.14 m^(3)/***,the acoustic exposure leads to an increase in the mass of evaporated kerosene over a given time by96.1%,and the energy costs are 1756.7 kJ(approximately 50% of the remaining electrical energy).

Temperature-dependent thermal conductivity and fuel performance of UN-UO_(2) and UN-X-UO_(2)(X=Mo,W)composite nuclear fuels by finite element modeling

The temperature-dependent effective thermal conductivity of UN-X-UO_(2)(X=Mo,W)nuclear fuel composite was *** the experimental design,the thermal conductivity was calculated using Finite Element Modeling(FEM),and compared with analytical models for 10%,30%,50%,and 70%(in mass)uncoated/coated UN microspheres in a UO2 *** FEM results show an increase in the fuel thermal conductivity as the mass fraction of the UN microspheres increases from 1.2 to 4.6 times the UO2 reference at 2,000 *** results from analytical models agree with the thermal conductivity estimated by *** results also show that Mo and W coatings have similar thermal behaviors,and the coating thickness influences the thermal conductivity of the *** higher weight fractions,the thermal conductivity of the fuel composite at room temperature is substantially influenced by the high thermal conductivity coatings approaching that of ***,the thermal conductivity from FEM was used in the fuel thermal performance evaluation during LWR normal operation to calculate the maximum centerline *** results show a significant decrease in the fuel maximum centerline temperature ranging from−94 K for 10% UN to−414 K for 70%(in mass)UN compared to UO2 under the same operating conditions.

Proton irradiation with a primary ion energy of 2 Mev was used to simulate radiation damage in UN and(U,Zr)N fuel *** pellets,nominally at room temperature,were irradiated to peak levels of 0.1,1,10 dpa and 100.0 dpa resulting in a peak hydrogen concentration of at most 90 at.%.Microstructure and mechanical properties of the samples were investigated and compared before and after *** irradiation induced an increase in hardness,whereas a decrease in Young’s modulus was observed for both *** characterization revealed irradiation-induced cracking,initiated in the bulk of the material,where the peak damage was deposited,propagating towards the ***,transmission electron microscopy was used to study irradiation *** loops and fringes were identified and observed to increase in density with increasing dose *** high density of irradiation defects and hydrogen implanted are proposed as the main cause of swelling and consequent sample cracking,leading simultaneously to increased hardening and a decrease in Young's modulus.

Assembly structures of coastal woody species of eastern south America:Patterns and drivers

Tropical regions have provided new insights into how ecological communities are *** dry coastal communities,water stress has been hypothesized to determine plant assembly structure by favoring preadapted lineages from neighboring ecosystems,consistent with functional ***,it is unclear whether this hypothesis is sufficient to explain how coastal communities in tropical ecosystems are ***,we test whether water stress or other factors drive community assembly in woody plant communities across the coastal zone of Brazil,a tropical *** characterized functional and phylogenetic structures of these communities and determined the underlying environmental factors(e.g.,water stress,historical climate stability,edaphic constraints,and habitat heterogeneity)that drive their community *** of coastal woody species show geographically varied patterns,including stochastic arrangements,clustering,and overdispersion of species relative to their traits and phylogenetic *** complexity,water vapor pressure,and soil nutrient availability best explained the gradient in the functional *** deficit,water vapor pressure,and soil organic carbon were the best predictors of variation in phylogenetic *** results support the water-stress conservatism hypothesis on functional and phylogenetic structure,as well as the effect of habitat heterogeneity on functional structure and edaphic constraints on functional and phylogenetic *** effects are associated with increased phenotypic and phylogenetic divergence of woody plant assemblages,which is likely mediated by abiotic filtering and niche opportunities,suggesting a complex pattern of ecological assembly.

Ultrasonic-vibration-assisted milling(UvAM)is an advanced method for the efficient and precise machining of difficult-to-machine materials in modern ***,the milling efficiency is limited because the ultrasonic vibration toolholder ER16 collet has a critical cutting ***,a 2D UvAM platform is built to ensure precision machining efficiency and improve the surface quality without changing the milling *** evaluate this 2D UvAM platform,ultrasonic-vibration-assisted high-speed dry milling(UvAHsDM)is performed to process a titanium alloy(Ti-6Al-4v)on the platform,and the milling temperature,surface roughness,and residual stresses are selected as the important indicators for performance *** results show that the intermittent cutting mechanism of UvAHsDM combined with the specific spindle speed,feed speed,and vibration amplitude can reduce the milling temperature and improve the texture of the machined *** with conventional milling,UvAHsDM reduces surface roughness and peak-groove surface profile values and extends the range of residual surface compressive stresses from−413.96 MPa to−600.18 *** excellent processing performance demonstrates the feasibility and validity of applying this 2D UvAM platform for investigating surface quality achieved under UvAHsDM.
