Influence of the Channel Design on the Heat Exchange Characteristics of Pulsating Flows in the Supply System of an Engine

Heat engines based on reciprocating machines remain in demand as energy converters in a variety of industries around the *** aim of the study was to evaluate the gas-dynamic,consumable and heat exchange characteristics of non-stationary air flows in a supply system with transverse profiling of valve channels based on experimental *** channels with cross sections in the form of a circle,square and triangle were used to control the consumable and heat exchange characteristics of the flows in the supply system of the reciprocatingengine *** article presents data on changes in local velocity,volumetric airflow and instantaneous heat transfer coefficient of non-stationary airflow in supply systems with different valve channel designs.A spectral analysis of the pulsations of the local heat transfer coefficient was also *** nusselt number was calculated for the studied supply *** figured valve channels lead to an increase in the volumetric airflow through the supply systemupto32%comparedwiththe basic *** useof a square valve channel leads to suppression of heat transfer(drop is about 15%)compared to the basic supply system,and the use of a triangular valve channel causes an intensification of heat transfer(growth is about 17.5%).The obtained data can be useful for refining mathematical models,adjusting machine learning algorithms,and improving design methods for supply systems of reciprocating machines to improve their technical,economic,and environmental characteristics.

Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of Fungicidal Activity of novel Pyrazole-Containing Strobilurin Derivatives

In searching for novel fungicidal leads,a series of pyrazole-containing strobilurins were rationally designed,synthesized and *** indicated that compound 1-7 displayed excellent fungicidal activity against a broad spectrum of plant pathogens such as Gibberella zeae,Rhizoctonia cereolis,Sclerotinia sclerotiorum,Phytophthora infestans,Physolosporo piricola and Pellicularia sosakii with EC_(50) of 0.16,0.02,0.72,0.07,0.77 and 0.65μg/mL,respectively,which were 3-10 times more potent than the positive control azoxystrobin against the corresponding ***,like azoxystrobin and kresoxim methyl,1-7,displayed excellent protec-tive activity against *** docking validated that 1-7 and azoxystrobin would share a similar binding mode with cytochrome bc_(1) *** study demonstrates that 1-7 is a promising fungicidal candidate for further development.

3-Chloro-4-(3,4-dichloroisothiazol-5-yl)-5-hydroxy-7-methyl-2 H-chromen-2-ones,a kind of coumarin derivatives,were synthesized byβ-ketoester formation and *** compound 5 e was crystallized from methanol for structural identification as monoclinic crystal system,space group C2/c with a=16.2700(6),b=7.1801(5),c=23.4861(10)A,V=2742.6(2)A^(3),Z=8,Dc=1.756 g/cm^(3),F(000)=1456 andμ=0.827 mm-1.8308 Reflections were collected(6.01≤2θ≤50.05°),of which 2428 were unique(Rint=0.0432)and used in all *** final R=0.0408(I>2σ(I))and w R=0.1056(reflections).In vitro bioassay indicated that compounds 5 d&5 e possessed good activity against botrytis cinerea,Physalospora piricola,Rhizoctonia solani,and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum with lower EC50 values falling between 0.50 and 4.85μg/m L than that of positive control osthole with its EC50 values between 7.38 and 74.59μg/*** vivo screening showed that 5 e exhibited 98%and 95%efficacy against Pseudoperonospora cubensis(berk.&Curt.)*** 100 and 50μg/mL,*** studies discovered that the combination of bioactive substructures of isothiazole with coumarin was an effective way to novel fungicide development.

A series of novel 2-amino-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid derivatives were designed and *** structures were confirmed by melting points, IR,1H nMR,13 C nMR, and HRMS or elemental analysis. biological activities of all title compounds including fungicidal activity and antivirus activity were evaluated systematically. Preliminary bioassays indicated that these compounds exhibited good fungicidal activity at 50 mg/m L, compounds 4b and 4i exhibited over 50% activity against six fungi *** compounds showed good activity against TMV with different models in vivo at 100 mg/m *** 4c and 4e stood out with high effects against TMV in vivo in all models tested, including protective, inactivative, curative, and inductive activities. These data demonstrate a new strategy for fungi and virus control.

The article is devoted to the technology for obtaining optical ceramics of Ag br-Tl I and Ag br-Tl br_(0.46)I_(0.54) systems and manufacturing samples with different *** new heterophase crystal ceramics are transparent without absorption windows in the spectral range from 1.0 to 60.0μ*** the ceramics’transparency spectra based on the Ag br-Tl I and Ag br-Tl br_(0.46)I_(0.54) systems fusibility diagrams,with an increase in the thallium halides mass fraction,as well as the replacement of the bromine ion with iodine,the maximum transparency shifts to a long infrared region.

Root structure syndromes of four families of monocots in the Middle urals

The present article tests the following general assumption:plant taxa with different specializations towards mycorrhizal interactions should have different root *** of 61 species common in boreal zone were studied:16 species of Poaceae,24 species of Cyperaceae,14 species of Orchidaceae,and 7 species of *** a fixed material of 5 individuals of each species,the following was determined:number of orders of branching roots;transverse dimensions of root,stele and cortex;number of primary xylem vessels and exodermis layers;length of root hairs;abundance of *** of each family had well-defined *** of Orchidaceae and Iridaceae were thick with a large stele and developed *** had no branching roots and had long root *** Iridaceae,roots were branched,and root hairs were *** of Poaceae and Cyperaceae were thin with a relatively thin *** hairs were short in Poaceae and long in *** finding that root syndromes of four families of monocots differed is a new and unexpected *** high specificity of root syndromes in Cyperaceae,Iridaceae,Poaceae,and Orchidaceae indicates that species of these families use different strategies to obtain water and soil nutrients.

A series of novel n-tert-butyl-n＇-acyl-5-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-4-carbohydrazides were designed and synthesized. Their structures were characterized by melting points, ^1H nMR, IR, ESI-MS, and elemental analysis. The bioassay tests indicated that compound 7o exhibited excellent direct anti-TMV activity and induction activity in vivo at 50μg/mL, which was better than that of ninamycin and tiadinial. Our studies indicated that 1,2,3-thiadiazole was an active substructure for novel pesticide development.

The title compound naphthalen-2-yl-4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-5-carboxylate （C 14 H 10 n 2 O 2 S,M r=270.31） was synthesized by the reaction of 4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-5-carbonyl chloride with 2-naphthol,and its structure was characterized by IR,1 H nMR,high-resolution mass spectrometry and single-crystal X-ray *** crystal belongs to orthorhombic,space group Pbcn with a=23.475（5）,b=9.6640（19）,c=10.814（2）,β=90.00°,Z=8,V=2453.2（9） 3,M r=270.30,D c=1.464 g/cm 3,μ=0.262 mm-1,F（000）=1120,R=0.0444 and wR=0.1099.X-ray analysis revealed that the thiadiazole and naphthalene rings were non-planar,while the thiadiazole ring and the ester group were essentially planar,and two intermolecular hydrogen bonds C（6） H（6）···O（1） and C（14） H（14）···O（1） were *** preliminary biological test showed that the title compound had antifungal and antivirus activities against tobacco mosaic virus.
