Generally shortened 3′UTR due to alternative polyadenylation(APA)is widely observed in cancer,but its regulation mechanisms for cancer are not well ***,with profiling of APA in colorectal cancer tissues and poly(A)signal editing,we firstly identified that the shortened 3′UTR of CTNNIBP1 in colorectal cancer promotes cell proliferation and *** found that liquid-liquid phase separation(LLPS)of PABPN1 is reduced albeit with higher expression in cancer,and the reduction of LLPS leads to the shortened 3′UTR of CTNNBIP1and promotes cell proliferation and ***,the splicing factor SNRPD2 upregulated in colorectal cancer,can interact with glutamic-proline(EP)domain of PABPN1,and then disrupt LLPS of PABPN1,which attenuates the repression effect of PABPN1 on the proximal poly(A)*** results firstly reveal a new regulation mechanism of APA by disruption of LLPS of PABPN1,suggesting that regulation of APA by interfering LLPS of 3′end processing factor may have the potential as a new way for the treatment of cancer.

Gypsum-based Silica Gel Humidity-controlling Composite Materials:Preparation,Characterization,and Performance

Gypsum was used as substrate,and silica gel was mixed into substrate at a certain mass ratio to prepare humidity-controlling composites;moreover,the moisture absorption and desorption properties of gypsum-based composites were compared with adding different silica gel particle size and *** morphological characteristics,the isothermal equilibrium moisture content curve,moisture absorption and desorption rate,moisture absorption and desorption stability,and humidity-conditioning performance were tested and *** experimental results show that,compared with pure-gypsum,the surface structure of the gypsum-based composites is relatively loose,the quantity,density and aperture of the pores in the structure *** absorption and desorption capacity increase along with the increase of silica gel particle size and silica gel *** 3 mm silica gel particle size is added with a mass ratio of 40%,the maximum equilibrium moisture content of humidity-controlling composites is 0.161 g/g at 98% relative humidity(RH),3.22 times that of *** moisture absorption and desorption rates are increased,the equilibrium moisture absorption and desorption rates are 2.68 times and 1.61 times that of pure-gypsum at 58.5% RH,*** gypsum-based composites have a good stability,which has better timely response to dynamic humidity changes and can effectively regulate indoor humidity under natural conditions.

A Few-Shot Learning-Based Automatic Modulation Classification Method for Internet of Things

Due to the limited computational capability and the diversity of the Internet of Things devices working in different environment,we consider fewshot learning-based automatic modulation classification(AMC)to improve its reliability.A data enhancement module(DEM)is designed by a convolutional layer to supplement frequency-domain information as well as providing nonlinear mapping that is beneficial for *** network is designed to have multiple residual blocks,where each residual block has multiple convolutional kernels of different sizes for diverse feature ***,a deep supervised loss function is designed to supervise all parts of the network including the hidden layers and the *** different model may output different results,cooperative classifier is designed to avoid the randomness of single model and improve the *** results show that this few-shot learning-based AMC method can significantly improve the AMC accuracy compared to the existing methods.

An improved lightweight network based on deep learning for grape recognition in unstructured environments

In unstructured environments,dense grape fruit growth and the presence of occlusion cause difficult recognition problems,which will seriously affect the performance of grape picking *** address these problems,this study improves the YOLOx-Tiny model and proposes a new grape detection model,YOLOX-RA,which can quickly and accurately identify densely growing and occluded grape *** proposed YOLOX-RA model uses a 3×3 convolutional layer with a step size of 2 to replace the focal layer to reduce the computational *** CBS layer in the ResBlock_Body module of the second,third,and fourth layers of the backbone layer is removed,and the CSPLayer module is replaced by the ResBlock-M module to speed up the *** auxiliary network(AlNet)with the remaining network blocks was added after the ResBlock-M module to improve the detection *** depth-separable convolutions(DsC)are used in the neck module layer to replace the normal convolution to reduce the computational *** evaluated the detection performance of SSD,YOLOv4 SSD,YOLOv4-Tiny,YOLO-Grape,YOLOv5-X,YOLOX-Tiny,and YOLOX-RA on a grape test *** results show that the YOLOX-RA model has the best detection performance,achieving 88.75%mAP,a recognition speed of 84.88 FPS,and model size of 17.53 *** can accurately detect densely grown and shaded grape bunches,which can effectively improve the performance of the grape picking robot.

Learning Vector Quantization-Based Fuzzy Rules Oversampling Method

Imbalanced datasets are common in practical applications,and oversampling methods using fuzzy rules have been shown to enhance the classification performance of imbalanced data by taking into account the relationship between data ***,the creation of fuzzy rules typically depends on expert knowledge,which may not fully leverage the label information in training data and may be *** address this issue,a novel fuzzy rule oversampling approach is developed based on the learning vector quantization(LVQ)*** this method,the label information of the training data is utilized to determine the antecedent part of If-Then fuzzy rules by dynamically dividing attribute intervals using ***,fuzzy rules are generated and adjusted to calculate rule *** number of new samples to be synthesized for each rule is then computed,and samples from the minority class are synthesized based on the newly generated fuzzy *** results in the establishment of a fuzzy rule oversampling method based on *** evaluate the effectiveness of this method,comparative experiments are conducted on 12 publicly available imbalance datasets with five other sampling techniques in combination with the support function *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can significantly enhance the classification algorithm across seven performance indicators,including a boost of 2.15%to 12.34%in Accuracy,6.11%to 27.06%in G-mean,and 4.69%to 18.78%in *** show that the proposed method is capable of more efficiently improving the classification performance of imbalanced data.

Reynolds-number scaling analysis on lift generation of a flapping and passive rotating wing with an inhomogeneous mass distribution

Insects usually fly by passively rotating wings,which has been applied to the design of flapping-wing Micro-Air Vehicles(MAVs)to reduce mechanical *** this paper,a robotic passive rotating-wing model is designed to investigate wing kinematics and lift generation,which are measured by a high-speed camera and a force transducer,*** addition,flow fields are measured using the Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV).Experimental results demonstrate that passive rotating motion has a coordinative relationship with actively stroking *** the stroke amplitude or frequency increases,the rotating amplitude is *** characterize the active stroking motion,a driving Reynolds number Redrivingis defined,which varies from 68 to 366 in this *** the gravity center of the wing towards trailing ed ge induces the increase of additional torque M,which decreases the wing rotating amplitude and promotes the advance of wing *** find that the timing of wing rotation is gradually delayed and the mean lift coefficient C^(-)_(L)monotonously decreases as *** increasing the additional torque M,C^(-)_(L)is slightly improved and approaches to the lift coefficient of a real fruit fly at driving Re approximately equal to *** instantaneous lifts combined with the vortical structures further demonstrate that the lift generation associated with wing rotation is mainly attributed to the growth of the LeadingEdge Vortex(LEV)and the passive wake capture *** wake capture is influenced by LEV,reversal stroke motion and wing additional torque together,which can only maintain the lift at a high level for a considerable *** high-lift generation mechanisms of flapping and passive rotating flight could shed light on the simplified design of MAVs and the improvement of their aerodynamic performance.

Hydrogen-rich surface of MoC catalysts for efficient CO_(2)hydrogenation induced by a coupled hydrogen donator

Direct CO_(2)hydrogenation offers an important strategy for promoting the global carbon balance,but high thermodynamic and kinetic stability of CO_(2)has restricted its applicability to only a handful of industrial ***,we introduce a proof-of-concept application of the electron-rich Pt surface to promote hydrogen donation for electron-rich MoC particles acting as hydrogen acceptors,thereby constructing hydrogen-rich surface of MoC active ***,the formed hydrogen-rich and electronrich surface could greatly decrease reaction activation energy to boost the efficient CO_(2)hydrogenation into formic acid over the MoC *** optimized MoC@NC/Pt-0.1(NC:nitrogen-doped carbon)catalyst exhibits a high turnover frequency(TOF)value of 1.2 h^(−1) at a lower temperature of 60℃and a TOF of 24.2 h^(−1) under standard reaction conditions widely used in the literature,exceeding 7 times of MoC@NC catalyst and surpassing the benchmark classical non-noble metal active center-based heterogeneous catalyst.

Exploring diurnal and seasonal variabilities in surface urban heat island intensity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

The urban heat island(UHl)is an environmental problem of wide concern because it poses a threat to both the human living environment and the sustainable development of *** of the spatiotemporal characteristics and the driving factors of UHl is essential for mitigating their ***,current understanding of the UHI in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA)is *** with data(e.g.,land surface temperature and land use.)acquired from the Google Earth Engine and other sources for the period 2001-2020,this study examined the diurnal and seasonal variabilities,spatial heterogeneities,temporal trends,and drivers of surface UHI intensity(SUHl)in the *** SUHll was calculated based on the urban-rural dichotomy,which has been proven an effective *** average SUHII was generally O-2℃,and the SUHIl in daytime was generally greater than that at *** maximum(minimum)SUHll was found in summer(winter);similarly,the largest(smallest)diurnal difference in SUHll was during summer(winter).Generally,the Mann-Kendall trend test and the Sen's slope estimator revealed a statistically insignificant upward trend in SUHll on all time *** influence of driving factors on SUHII was examined using the Geo-Detector *** was found that the number of continuous impervious pixels had the greatest impact,and that the urban-rural difference in the enhanced vegetation index had the smallest impact,suggesting that anthropogenic heat emissions and urban size are the main influencing ***,controlling urban expansion and reducing anthropogenic heat generation are effective approaches for alleviating surface UHI.
