Introduction: Malignant gliomas refer to grade III or IV brain tumors defined according to the World Health Organization (WHO) classification. They are a heterogeneous group of pathologies and represent a serious health problem by their frequency, severity and treatment difficulties. The prognosis of malignant gliomas remains poor despite all the medical advances. Materials and Methods: It is a retrospective study included 20 cases of malignant glial tumors treated at the medical oncology department, Fattouma Bourguiba hospital in Monastir between 2012 and 2016, according to the STUPP protocol. Results: These were 12 men and 8 women with a median age of 43. Clinical signs were not very specific, dominated by intracranial hypertension and deficit signs. Imagery referred to the diagnosis of malignant gliomas in 1st intention. Surgery consisted of a macroscopically complete exeresis in (15%) cases, a partial exeresis in (50%), the rest of the patients had a stereotactic biopsy. Histology found GBM in 16 patients (80%), 2 cases of Grade III anaplastic astrocytoma (10%), 1 case of anaplastic oligodendroglioma (5%), and 1 case of Grade III anaplastic eppendymoma (5%). Most of our patients received concurrent radio-chemotherapy and adjuvant TMZ chemotherapy was administered in 15 patients,

High-Density Polyethylene(HDPE)wear debris generated in the hip joint prothesis leads to its *** aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of Squid Pen(SP)on the tribological and physicochemical properties of HDPE *** filled with 0,5,10,15 and 20 wt.%SP were elaborated by hot compression *** tests were carried out using a reciprocating pin-on-disc *** hardness,Fourier-Transform infra-red(FTIR)analysis,Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)of the biocomposite were *** analysis results of the biocomposites showed that an increase in the crystallinity rate was obtained with the addition of SP *** 10 wt.%of SP has a significant effect on the hardness of the *** correlation between the friction coefficient and the wear resistance of the composite was *** 5 wt.%SP-HDPE biocomposite has the lowest friction coefficient value with a decrease in the specific wear rate,compared to the unfilled *** SEM results showed that SP wear debris played an important role as a third roller body at the interface reducing the friction coefficient of the *** was concluded that the HDPE biocomposite could be successfully reinforced with 5 wt.%of SP.

The fast development and the rapid spread of information technology have raised the issue of digitalimage copyright protection, which was mostly addressed through robust watermarking. To ensure the survival of the watermark after attacks, most works have been making use of an additional step at the embedding phase,and by so making the scheme unsuitable for real-time implementation. However, to be effective and secure, it is recommended to combine the watermarking algorithm and the capture sensor in one device. In this paper, we brought the extra stage to the detection side. We firstly studied the effect of some signal processing operations on a watermarked image, then we proposed a general model for watermark extraction whose parameters were determined using the artificial bee colony. The efficacy of the proposed method was validated by comparing its robustness with two state-of-art schemes focusing on the watermark extraction.

For a given T>0,we prove,under the global ARS-condition and using the Nehari manifold method,the existence of a T-periodic solution having the W-symmetry introduced in[21],for the hamiltonian system z+V'(z)=0,z∈R^N,N∈N^*.Moreover,such a solution is shown to have T as a minimal period without relaying to any index theory.A multiplicity result is also proved under the same condition.

Acrylic fibres are highly crystalline and non-polar polymers,which makes their dyeing a very difficult step that poses real technical *** order to overcome this concern,it is intended in this paper to modify acrylic fibers by different methods namely cationisation using the Crosscolor DRT then amidoximation using hydroxylamine hydrochloride and ammonium *** resulted samples were dyed then with the bio-colorant extracted from grape *** effect of the pretreatment on fibers fine structure using X-ray diffraction and the scanning electron microscope(SEM)images and its correlation with the colour strength of the dyed fabrics was *** dyeing parameters,such as dye bath pH and temperature on the performances of this dyeing process were *** dyeing qualities and new shades varying from brown to grey and dark green have been obtained following process optimization,mordanting and modification of acrylic fibers by the technique of cationisation.

The PVT-air solar system simultaneously generates electrical and thermal ***,increasing the cost-effectiveness of the system requires an appropriate choice of key parameters such as mass flow rate and air channel *** this paper,a PVT-air kit of a single module with a 30°slope was used to measure photovoltaic electricity and air heating power in the city of Sfax,***,a computer method was implemented using the ANSYS Fluent 17.0 software and the MATLAB program to analyse the properties of the airflow and to characterise PVT-air yields under different mass flow rates and *** the comparison of numerical and experimental data,the numerical method was validated with a good ***,we have found that increasing of the airflow rate improves the thermal efficiency with a slight change on electrical ***,the reduction in depth shows an improvement on thermal efficiency and a negligible effect on electrical ***,we have presented the thermal and electrical performance of PVT-air as a function of the key parameters with the Hottel-Whillier-Bliss formulation.

This paper focuses on the design process for reconfigurable architecture. Our contribution focuses on introducing a new temporal partitioning algorithm. Our algorithm is based on typical mathematic flow to solve the temporal partitioning problem. This algorithm optimizes the transfer of data required between design partitions and the reconfiguration overhead. Results show that our algorithm considerably decreases the communication cost and the latency compared with other well known algorithms.

In this paper we study some properties of the Hurwitz series ring HA over a commutative ring A, such as the nilradical of HA and the chain condition on its an- nihilators. We provide an example showing that the last property does not pass from A to HA. A strongly Hopfian ring is a ring satisfying the chain condition on some type of annihilators. We give a large class of strongly Hopfian rings A such that HA are not strongly Hopfian.
