The better management of resources and the potential improvement in trafc congestion via reducing the orbiting time for parking spaces is crucial in a smart city,particularly those with an uneven correlation between the increase in vehicles and *** paper proposes and analyses a novel green IoT-based Pay-As-You-Go(PAYG)smart parking system by utilizing unused garage parking *** article also presents an intelligent system that offers the most favorable prices to its users by matching private garages’pricing portfolio with a garage’s current ***,the world’s fourth-most densely populated country,is considered as a case of a smart city for the implementation of the proposed *** results obtained conrm that apart from having a high potential system in such countries,the pricing generated correctly forecasts the demand for a particular garage at a specic time of the day and *** proposed PAYG smart parking system can effectively contribute to the macro solution to trafc congestion by encouraging potential users to use the system’s services and reducing the orbiting time for parking.

Potassium ions （K+） doped graphitic carbon nitride （g-C3N4） was prepared by a thermal etching method using potassium hydroxide （KOH） as an ion *** transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）results showed that the generation of the cyano group was detected while introducing K+.Under simulated sunlight irradiation,the sample with a K+doping amount of 10%showed the highest hydrogen peroxide （H2O2） generation rate of2,140.2μmol *** apparent quantum yield （AQY） at 400 nm and the solar-to-chemical conversion （SCC） are 4.35%and1.23%,respectively.K+acted as a bridge between g-C3N4layers,which enhanced charge transfer ***,the cyano group enhanced the adsorption capacity of protons （H+） and promoted the yield of *** catalyst exhibited excellent photocatalytic stability based on four-cycle *** addition,a mechanism study showed that superoxide radicals （·O2-）were the most important active species in the reaction *** production of H2O2was achieved through consecutive single-electron *** study deepens the understanding of the oxygen reduction reaction process and opens up a new venue for improving H2O2generation.

New semiconductor materials offer several advantages for modern power systems,including low switching and conduction losses,excellent thermal conduction of a die,and high operation *** is one of the main beneficiaries of the progress in power devices,as it enables more compact and lighter converters for future More Electrical ***,these advancements also come with new challenges that must be addressed to avoid potentially dangerous situations and fully utilize the capabilities of fast SiC *** such challenge is the high drain voltage rate during the switching process,which leads to a significant injection of current into the gate circuit(crosstalk effect).This increased current injection increases the risk of shoot-through conduction and thermal *** preventive measures are well-known,they offer limited protection in the case of parallel MOSFET ***,this paper considers crosstalk features for parallel MOSFET connections,such as parasitic inductance of gate driver trace and gate voltage distribution.A special model is proposed to predict the magnitude of induced gate voltage under different conditions considering the nonlinear behavior of the MOSFET reverse capacitance.A new clamp circuit with an individual low-inductance path for each parallel switch is also proposed to suppress the consequences of *** modified circuit operates independently from the main gate driver circuit;therefore,it does not change the switching time and electromagnetic interference pattern of the *** efficiency of the new gate driver is confirmed through simulation and experimental results.

The Maltese Islands in the central Mediterranean was one of the earliest European countries to initiate political relationships with the People’s Republic of *** political interaction translated eventually to a better appreciation of the cultural diversity of the respective *** appreciation led to an early adoption of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)services and their incorporation within the mainline western-based contemporary medicine generally practiced on the *** clinical services were formally introduced in the public government-managed hospital in 1994 after a bilateral agreement was signed between the health ministries of the two respective *** service has now extended into the private health *** adoption of TCM clinical services,in the light of a greater acceptance of TCM by the patients,necessitated specific legislation to regulate the practice of TCM within the legal framework of the Maltese Healthcare Professions *** more recent years,since 2015,the university of malta in collaboration with Shanghai university of TCM,have provided a postgraduate master program in TCM aimed at graduates holding a primary degree in a western-oriented health-care science.

Throughout history, design values have always underlined a given architectural style. The manner architects and architectural critics distinguish between them varies from that of the public. In fact a style welt perceived by civil society was read as pathological by architectural academia. This paper examines the values and perceptions of contemporary architecture by architects and civil society. Through qualitative methodology, a project by each of the following leading contemporary architects - Renzo Piano, Norman Foster and Rem Koolhaas - was analyzed. The selected designs, all commissioned not more than a decade ago, vary in locations from malta to Lebanon to India. The study concludes that design values and perceptions of architecture as read by members of the architectural profession do not tally with those of the public. The emphasis by architects is on the aesthetic whilst non-architects focus on the utilitarian dimension. Furthermore, the rhetorical language which architects use is not read as such by the public. The assessment of the public is based on the existential reality which they experience. The perception of civil society matters; it is at the core of architectural design values.

Network pruning has a significant role in reducing network parameters and accelerating the inference time of the network. Some existing methods prune the network based on the frequency of the data, and finally obtain a sub-network with high accuracy. However, according to our experimental analysis, different frequencies of information in the data contribute differently to the accuracy of the model, and using this information directly for pruning without making a selection will lead to incorrect results. We believe that pruning should retain the convolutional kernels in the network that process important information, while those kernels that process unimportant information should be removed. In this paper, we first investigate the meaning of each frequency band information in the spectrum and their contribution to the prediction accuracy of the network,and according to these results, we propose a new pruning method based on frequency response(PFR). Our PFR finds and removes the convolutional kernels in the network that specialize in processing unimportant information, resulting in a compact neural network model. PFR obtains significant experimental results on different datasets, for example, a 56.0% raduction of float points operations(FLOPs) on Res Net-50 and only 0.37% of Top-1 accuracy degradation on the Image Net dataset.

Syngas produced from the gasification of organic feedstocks from biomass is one of the clean and sustainable sources of *** advantages of simple access and renewability of biomass energy can meet the energy needs of temporary power *** study presents a biomass power-generation system for vehicular *** biomass and a free-piston Stirling engine generator（FPSEG） as the primary material and prime mover,respectively,biomass energy is converted into electricity by combusting the syngas to heat the *** and key parameter design for biomass gasification and thermoelectric conversion systems within a power generation system were performed.A porous medium area was constructed using Si-C foam ceramics to obtain an energy-conversion experimental *** effects of bed height,porosity,porous-region diameter,and air-intake conditions on the power-generation performance were investigated,and optimisations were performed for the thermoelectric conversion *** rate of increase during FPSEG power generation first increased and then decreased with increasing bed height,peaking at a bed height of 40 *** increasing porous-region diameter accelerated FPSEG power generation,whereas porosity changes in the porous media did not significantly affect the rate of change during FPSEG power *** increasing air intake,the rate of increase during power generation first increased and then *** maximum change rate and the highest thermoelectric conversion efficiency of the power-generation system occurred at 9.5 m3/h and 6.5 m3/h（～45.1%）air intakes,*** the thermal inertia and combustion structure of the thermoelectric conversion system significantly increased the power-generation rate of the system,with 1.8 W/s being observed at a 9.7 m3/h air intake.
