This study describes the floristic composition a.d structure of a.woody sta.d in the Senega.ese Sa.el, pa.ing pa.ticula. a.tention to the eda.hic fa.tors of its floristic composition. a.stra.ified inventory considering the different relief units wa. a.opted. Woody vegeta.ion wa. surveyed using a.dendrometric a.proa.h. The results obta.ned show tha. the flora.is domina.ed by a.few species a.a.ted to drought, such a. Ba.a.ites a.gyptia.a.(L.) Del., Ca.otropis procera.a.t. a.d Boscia.senega.ensis (Pers.). The distribution of this flora.a.d the structure of the ligneous pla.ts a.e linked to the topogra.hy. In the lowla.ds, the flora.is more diversified a.d the ligneous pla.ts rea.h their optimum level of development compa.ed with the higher relief a.ea.. In the lowla.ds, there a.e a.few woody species which, in the pa.t, were indica.ive of better clima.ic conditions. These a.e a.ogeissus leioca.pus (DC.), Commiphora.a.rica.a.(a. Rich.), Feretia.a.oda.thera.Del., Loeseneriella.a.rica.a.(a. Smith), Mitra.yna.inermis (Willd.) a.d Scleroca.ya.birrea.(a. Rich). Introduction: HIV, the huma. immunodeficiency virus, is the etiologica. a.ent of a.quired immunodeficiency syndrome (a.DS). The a.m of this study wa. to a.sess the evolution of the vira. loa. in pa.ients under trea.ment. Methodology: This wa. a.study ca.ried out from July 2017 to June 2022 a. the Point G university Hospita. la.ora.ory. The determina.ion of the vira. loa. of pa.ients wa. ca.ried out by PCR on the a.OTT M2000sp/rt pla.form. Results: a.tota. of 129 pa.ients infected with HIV-1, a.ed 19 to 72 yea.s with a.mea. a.e of 40.05 yea.s ± 10.71;a.l on a.tiretrovira. chemothera.y. The fema.e gender predomina.ed a.ong our pa.ients. The most common trea.ment regimen wa. 2INTI + 1INNTI with 72.9% followed by 2INTI + 1INI with 13.2%. a. for the combina.ions of molecules, the combina.ion TDF + 3TC + EFV a.d TDF + 3TC + DTG predomina.ed, respectively 65.1% a.d 13.2%. 89.9% of our pa.ients ha. undetecta.le viremia.a.ter 12 months of trea.ment (p a. a.era.e vira. loa. which ha. evolved from 681315.65 copies/ml ± 1616908.484 to M0 a. 5742.36 copies /ml ± 35756.883 a. M12 (p Conclusion: Genera.ly spea.ing, a.tiretrovira. trea.ment ha. contributed to controlling vira. loa.s, however the thera.eutic combina.ion TDF + 3TC + DTG ha. ma.e it possible to obta.n more pa.ients with undetecta.le viremia.instea..

Temporoma.dibula. disorders (TMD) nega.ively a.fect qua.ity of life, ca.sing pa.n a.d restricted ja. movements. This study eva.ua.es the effectiveness of Tra.scuta.eous Electrica. Nerve Stimula.ion (TENS) on TMD pa.ients before orthodontic trea.ment a. the Jua.ez a.tonomous university of Ta.a.co. a.qua.tita.ive, qua.i-experimenta. study wa. conducted with 30 pa.ients who met the inclusion criteria. a.ed 18 to 65 yea.s, with TMJ pa.n symptoms, dia.nosed with temporoma.dibula. disorders using the Helkimo index, a.d who ha. provided informed consent for the study. The ra.ge of ma.dibula. movement a.d the Visua. a.a.og Sca.e (Va.) were mea.ured to record va.ues before thera.y. The electrodes of the TENS thera.y were positioned on both sides of the ja. in the prea.ricula. a.ea.a.d the ma.seter muscle, the thera.y wa. a.ministered for 40 minutes, utilizing a.frequency of 2 - 4 Hz a.d a.pulse dura.ion of 300 microseconds. Following this, the ra.ge of ma.dibula. movement a.d the Va. were rea.sessed to eva.ua.e the outcomes., significa.tly improved ma.imum mouth opening (37.7 ± 6.4 mm to 44.6 ± 5.88 mm), right la.era.ity (3.86 ± 1.57 mm to 5.43 ± 1.21 mm), left la.era.ity (3.13 ± 1.63 mm to 4.53 ± 1.61 mm), protrusion (4.01 ± 1.7 mm to 5.36 ± 1.32 mm), a.d pa.n perception (4.56 ± 2.045 to 2.03 ± 1.5) (P a.y enha.ces ma.dibula. movement a.d reduces pa.n, ma.ing it a.well-tolera.ed, non-inva.ive complementa.y trea.ment for TMD.
