In this paper,fixed-time consensus tracking for mul-tiagent systems(MASs)with dynamics in the form of strict feed-back affine nonlinearity is addressed.A fixed-time antidistur-bance consensus tracking protocol is proposed,which consists of a distributed fixed-time observer,a fixed-time disturbance observer,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping controller,and the fixed-time stability analysis is conducted by using the Lyapunov theory *** paper includes three main ***,a distributed fixed-time observer is developed for each follower to obtain an estimate of the leader’s output by utilizing the topology of the communication ***,a fixed-time disturbance observer is given to estimate the lumped disturbances for feedforward ***,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping tracking controller with feedforward compensation for lumped disturbances is *** order to mitigate the“explosion of complexity”in the tradi-tional backstepping approach,we have implemented a modified nonsmooth command filter to enhance the performance of the closed-loop *** simulation results show that the pro-posed method is effective.

Flame Synthesis of Zr/ZSM-5 Catalysts with Tunable Acidity for the Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane to Propene

Tuning the surface acidity of ZSM-5 catalyst is essential to achieve desired propene selectivity and *** several ratios of Zr were utilized to modify ZSM-5 via flame spray pyrolysis technique coupled with a pulse spray evaporation *** interaction between Zr and ZSM-5 in the flame influenced the physicochemical and acidity properties of the Zr/*** increasing Zr ratio in ZSM-5 shows coated layers of irregular nano-sized Zr with an increase in crystallite sizes due to the synergetic effect between Zr and *** surface chemical analysis revealed increased lattice oxygen on the Zr modified ZSM-5(1:4) sample compared to other *** acidity analysis revealed the Lewis and Br?nsted acid distribution in the weak and medium acid sites on the catalyst ***,the increase in Zr loading decreased the concentration of Br?nsted acid sites and tuned the catalyst surface to more Lewis acidity,promoting propene selectivity and hindering the over-oxidation of *** modified ZSM-5 catalysts were examined in a fixed bed reactor within 300℃-700℃ at a gas hourly space velocity(GHSV) of 6000 mL·g(catalysts)^(-1)·h^(-1) for the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane(ODHP) to *** the catalysts,Zr/ZSM-5(1:4) exhibited the best propene yield, with 57.19% propane conversion and 75.54% selectivity to propene and the highest *** work provides a promising strategy for tuning the surface acidity of ZSM-5 with Zr for ODHP applications.

Screening current is recognized as one of the critical elements limiting the progression of superconducting magnets toward achieving higher magnetic fields. Currently, most non-insulated(NI) superconducting magnets consider the magnet as insulated when addressing the issue of screening current. However, the bypass current in the NI magnet can modify the actual history of magnetization, so the screening current in NI magnet will be different from that in the insulated magnet. This paper presents a novel method based on the homogenized T-A formulation(T is the current vector potential, and A is the magnetic vector potential), which enables real-time simulation of both the bypass current behavior and the implications of screening current in NI superconducting magnets, even when these magnets contain tens of thousands of turns. We have developed a 32 T NI hybrid superconducting magnet and validated the effectiveness of this method through experiments. Employing this efficacious method,we conducted a comprehensive calculation of screening current in NI magnets, comparing them with insulated magnets in terms of screening current-induced stress(SCIS), screening current-induced field(SCIF), and losses. The results indicate that in the NI insert coils, the sequential excitation of background coils and insert coils induces a reverse screening current, resulting in slightly lower SCIF and SCIS compared to those in the insulated magnets. The method and results can contribute to the enhancement of magnet design and provide valuable insights for the development of ultra-high fields(UHF) NI magnets.

The high content of aluminum(Al)impurity in the recycled cathode powder seriously affects the extraction efficiency of Nickel,Cobalt,Manganese,and Lithium resources and the actual commercial value of recycled materials,so Al removal is crucially important to conform to the industrial standard of spent Li-ion battery cathode *** this work,we systematically investigated the leaching process and optimum conditions associated with Al removal from the cathode powder materials collected in a wet cathode-powder peeling and recycling production line of spent Li-ion batteries(LIBs).Moreover,we specifically studied the leaching of fluorine(F)synergistically happened along with the removal process of Al,which was not concerned about in other studies,but one of the key factors affecting pollution prevention in the recovery *** mechanism of the whole process including the leaching of Al and F from the cathode powder was indicated by using NMR,FTIR,and XPS,and a defluoridation process was preliminarily investigated in this *** leaching kinetics of Al could be successfully described by the shrinking core model,controlled by the diffusion process and the activation energy was 11.14 kJ/***,the leaching of F was attributed to the dissolution of LiPF6and decomposition of PVDF,and the kinetics associated was described by Avrami *** interaction of Al and F is advantageous to realize the defluoridation to some *** is expected that our investigation will provide theoretical support for the large-scale recycling of spent LIBs.

Peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)is an important photochemical pollutant in the troposphere,whereas long-term measurements are scarce in rural areas in North China Plain(NCP),resulting in unclear seasonal variations and sources of PAN in rural *** this study,we conducted a 1-year observation of PAN during 2021-2022 at the rural NCP *** average concentrations of PAN were 1.10,0.75,0.65,and 0.88 ppbv in spring,summer,autumn,and winter,respectively,with a 1-year average of 0.81±0.60 *** indicate that the loss of PAN through thermal decomposition in summer accounts for 43.2% of the total formed PAN,which is an important reason for the low concentration of PAN in *** speculate that since the correlation between PAN and O_(3) in winter is significantly lower than that in other seasons,the observed regional transport of PAN cannot be ignored in *** budget analysis,regional transport accounted for 12.8% and 55.9% of the observed PAN on the spring and winter pollution days,respectively,which showed that regional transport played key roles during the photochemical pollution of the rural NCP in *** potential source contribution function revealed that the transported PAN mainly comes from southern Hebei in *** winter,the transported PAN was mainly from Langfang,Hengshui,and southern *** findings may aid in understanding PAN variations in different seasons in rural areas and highlight the impact of regional transport on the PAN budget.

Searching and designing new materials play crucial roles in the development of energy storage devices. In today's world where machine learning technology has shown strong predictive ability for various tasks, the combination with machine learning technology will accelerate the process of material development. Herein, we develop ESM Cloud Toolkit for energy storage materials based on Mat Elab platform, which is designed as a convenient and accurate way to automatically record and save the raw data of scientific research. The ESM Cloud Toolkit includes multiple features such as automatic archiving of computational simulation data, post-processing of experimental data, and machine learning applications. It makes the entire research workflow more automated and reduces the entry barrier for the application of machine learning technology in the domain of energy storage materials. It integrates data archive, traceability, processing, and reutilization, and allows individual research data to play a greater role in the era of AI.

Magnesium oxysulfate(MOS)whiskers are commonly synthesized through a dissolution-precipitation mechanism,wherein Mg(OH)_(2)dissolves to form Mg(OH)64−,followed by reactions with SO_(4)^(2−)and H_(2)O to yield MOS ***,the impact of Mg(OH)_(2)precursor properties on the formation process of MOS whiskers has been insufficiently explored,and sector-like and needle-like morphologies were both observed in previous *** this study,we systematically investigated how the properties of Mg(OH)_(2)precursors influenced the crystalline structure and morphology of MOS *** various experimental conditions,MgSO_(4)·5Mg(OH)_(2)·2H_(2)O(152MOS)whiskers were consistently obtained,regardless of Mg(OH)_(2)morphology and *** size of Mg(OH)_(2)emerged as a critical factor in shaping the morphology of 152MOS ***-sized Mg(OH)_(2)(≤106±37 nm)favored the formation of sector-like whiskers,while larger-sized Mg(OH)_(2)(≥206±98 nm)encouraged the development of needle-like *** distinction was attributed to the slower dissolution rate exhibited by larger-sized Mg(OH)_(2),maintaining a smaller number of 152MOS nuclei and promoting the growth of needle-like whiskers instead of the aggregation of 152MOS nuclei into sector-like *** addition,the effects of the molar ratio of Mg^(2+)to SO_(4)^(2−)and hydrothermal temperature were also *** average length and diameter of the needle-like whiskers prepared with Mg(OH)_(2)of 331±145 nm under optimized conditions were 77±32 and 0.39±0.10μm,*** study presented an effective strategy for controlling the morphology of 152MOS whiskers.

Limitations are existed in current ensemble forecasting initial perturbation methods for describing the interactions among various spheres of the Earth system. In this study, a new method is proposed, namely, the coupled conditional nonlinear optimal perturbation(C-CNOP) method, which incorporates multisphere interactions much appropriately. The El Nino-Southern Oscillation(ENSO) is a typical ocean-atmosphere “coupling”(or “interaction”) phenomenon. The C-CNOP method is applied to ensemble forecasting of ENSO. It is demonstrated that the C-CNOP method can generate coupled initial perturbations(CPs) that appropriately consider initial ocean-atmosphere coupling uncertainty for ENSO ensemble forecasts. Results reveal that the CPs effectively improve the ability of ENSO ensemble-mean forecasts in both temporal variability of Nio3.4 sea surface temperature anomalies(SSTAs) and spatial variability of ENSO mature-phase SSTAs. Notably, despite the weakest ocean-atmosphere coupling strength in the tropical Pacific occurring during the boreal spring and summer, CPs still capture the uncertainties of this weak coupling when ENSO predictions are initialized at these seasons. This performance of CPs significantly suppresses the rapid increase of ENSO prediction errors due to the high ocean-atmosphere coupling instability during these seasons, and thus effectively extends the lead time of skillful ENSO forecasting. Hence, the C-CNOP method is a suitable initial perturbation approach for ENSO ensemble forecast that can describe initial ocean-atmosphere coupling uncertainty. It is expected that the CCNOP method plays a significant role in predictions of other high-impact climate phenomena, and even future Earth system predictions.
