This paper aims at studying the effect of recycling on the static and dynamic properties of short alfa fibre reinforced *** this purpose,alfa fibres reinforced composites were elaborated by an injection moulding process and were subjected to different mechanical recycling ***,non-recycled and recycled materials were subjected to static tests and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis(DMA)to evaluate the effect of recycling on their ***,the effects of alkali and salt water treatments on the static and dynamic properties of the alfa composite were also *** obtained results show that tensile and flexural properties of alfa fibres reinforced composites decrease during recycling ***,the recycling induces a drop in the storage modulus and enhances the loss factor of these *** composites with alfa fibre especially the alkali treated composite show the same resistance to recycling as composites with hemp ***,SEM observations indicate a decrease in the fibres dimension with the recycling cycles,especially for alfa fibres,which can explain the decrease in the properties of the alfa composite during recycling operations.

We read with interest the recently published article of Girgis et al.(1).The paper is a non-inferiority study regarding robotic versus open approach in the pancreatic resection for pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PDAC).The authors examined post-surgical complications,overall survival(OS)and the effect of surgical approach for the access to adjuvant chemotherapy(aCHT).According to the majority of scientific literature,aCHT improves the rate of survival in patients after resected *** a pancreatectomy,post-surgical complications limit the access to aCHT and,consequently,they reduce the OS(2).

The optimality criteria （OC） method and mathematical programming （MP） were combined to found the sectional optimization model of frame structures. Different methods were adopted to deal with the different constraints. The stress constraints as local constraints were approached by zero-order approximation and transformed into movable sectional lower limits with the full stress criterion. The displacement constraints as global constraints were transformed into explicit expressions with the unit virtual load method. Thus an approximate explicit model for the sectional optimization of frame structures was built with stress and displacement constraints. To improve the resolution efficiency, the dual-quadratic programming was adopted to transform the original optimization model into a dual problem according to the dual theory and solved iteratively in its dual space. A method called approximate scaling step was adopted to reduce computations and smooth the iterative process. Negative constraints were deleted to reduce the size of the optimization model. With MSC/Nastran software as structural solver and MSC/Patran software as developing platform, the sectional optimization software of frame structures was accomplished, considering stress and displacement constraints. The examples show that the efficiency and accuracy are improved.

The effects of high magnetic field armealihng on the morphology and texture of pulsed-electrodeposited Co-Ni-P films were investigated by field emission scanning electronic microscopy(FE-SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The as-deposited film with cluster structural on a rough surface changed into non-uniform and bigger nanocrystalline during the no-field annealing due to a recrystallization ***-deposition annealing under a magnetic field favored to form a more homogeneous surface with smaller grain size and lower *** magneto-induced a mixed phase structure including fcc-Ni,hcp-Co and fcc-CoNiP appeared in the case of the films annealed at a 9T magnetic *** possible overlapping effects such as diffusion and recrystallization obtained by the magnetic field annealing on the morphology evolution and on the phase transformation in the films were interpreted.

In this paper, an adaptive type-2 fuzzy sliding mode control to tolerate actuator faults of unknown nonlinear systems with external disturbances is presented. Based on a redundant actuation structure, a novel type-2 adaptive fuzzy fault tolerant control scheme is proposed using sliding mode control. Two adaptive type-2 fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown functions, whose adaptation laws are deduced from the stability analysis. The proposed approach allows to ensure good tracking performance despite the presence of actuator failures and external disturbances, as illustrated through a simulation example.

In this paper, an adaptive neural networks(NNs)tracking controller is proposed for a class of single-input/singleoutput(SISO) non-affine pure-feedback non-linear systems with input saturation. In the proposed approach, the original input saturated nonlinear system is augmented by a low pass ***, new system states are introduced to implement states transformation of the augmented model. The resulting new model in affine Brunovsky form permits direct and simpler controller design by avoiding back-stepping technique and its complexity growing as done in existing methods in the *** controller design of the proposed approach, a state observer,based on the strictly positive real(SPR) theory, is introduced and designed to estimate the new system states, and only two neural networks are used to approximate the uncertain nonlinearities and compensate for the saturation nonlinearity of actuator. The proposed approach can not only provide a simple and effective way for construction of the controller in adaptive neural networks control of non-affine systems with input saturation, but also guarantee the tracking performance and the boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system. The stability of the control system is investigated by using the Lyapunov theory. Simulation examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

Evaluation of Addiction among Students in First Year of a French university

Background: We aimed to describe addictive behaviours and identify risk factors for addiction among students in their first year of university, which is known to represent a stressful situation conducive to the emergence of addictive behaviours. Methods: Ongoing cross-sectional survey among first-year students of the university of Reims champagne-ardenne (France). The first 16 months of the survey, which is due to run for 5 years, are analysed here. A self-report questionnaire was proposed to all first-year students during their mandatory preventive medicine consultation. The questionnaire kit comprised validated questionnaires evaluating addiction to alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, cocaine, amphetamines, solvents, tranquillizers, hallucinogens, opiates, other drugs, internet, and gambling or games of chance. Results: In total, 1139 students were included in this analysis;participation rate was 94% among all those invited to participate. Average age was 19 ± 1 years, male to female sex ratio was 0.54. Among respondents, 18% were at risk of addiction to alcohol, 2.3% were addicted;19.6% were smokers, and 5.5% were dependent. Cannabis was the most frequently used illicit substance, with 4.8% of students at risk, and 2 subjects addicted. For the internet, 11.6% of subjects were at risk, and 1.4% were addicted. By logistic regression, students receiving grants or whose parents have a low socio-professional category were at less risk of addiction to alcohol. We also found that students at risk were less likely to accept treatment. Conclusion: These initial findings show that certain addictive behaviours are particularly prevalent among first-year students, with identifiable risk factors or protective factors, thereby opening avenues for preventive and therapeutic measures.
