Multiple sclerosis(MS)is the most common chronic disease of the central nervous system(CNS)in young adults and represents the first cause of severe handicap,originally non-traumatic(Oh et al.,2018).MS is chara cterized by the infiltration of auto reactive lymphocytes specific to myelin through the blood-brain barrier,which results in the appearance of inflammatory demyelinating lesions caused by the death of the central nervous system myelinating cells,oligodendrocytes(Oh et al.,2018).There is a prevalence sexual with a ratio of three times more affected women than men.

There are known cases where a cell sub-population bearing a selective advantage tends to or eventually replaces another cell subpopulation within an organism. This process is supposed to underlie the purging of the most frequent mitochon-drial DNA pathogenic variant from leuko-cytes and other tissues. It is also likely to explain the normal increase of sex chromo-some aneuploidy in human leukocytes with age or under pathological conditions and the expansion of a cell subpopulation after the spontaneous in vivo reversion to normal of an inherited pathogenic variant.

The existence of highly differentiated X and Y chromosomes in mammals raises the issue of X-linked gene dosage compensation between XX females and XY males to avoid what would be similar to a monosomy X in males(Veitia et al.,2015).Inactivation of one copy of the X chromosomes in females provides a dosage-compensation mechanism equalizing the expression of X-linked genes in males and females(Ohno et al.,1959;Lyon,1961).

Dear Editor, Early ovarian expression of Newborn oogenesis homeobox （NOBOX）, a transcription factor belonging to the homeoprotein class, is decisive for the progression of primordial follicles to the primary follicular stage as demonstrated by the sterility of Nobox-/- female mice （Rajkovic et al., 2004）. Consequently, the loss of the Nobox gene causes primary ovarian insuffi- ciency （POI）（Rajkovic et al., 2004） and we have shown that 6.2% of POI cases harbor mutations in the NOBOX gene （Qin et al., 2007; Bouilly et aL, 2011）. Such a high prevalence of mutations demonstrates that NOBOX is a major autosomal gene involved in POI （Bouilly et al., 2011）.

While the isotopic variations of barium were reported for the first time fourty years ago, the number of studies on barium isotopes significantly increased only after 2010. Barium isotope anomalies in meteorites have been successfully used to provide constraints about the origin of presolar Si C grains. In carbonaceous chondrites Ba isotope anomalies are indicative of the heterogeneity of the early solar system, possibly resulting from of a later injection of material after the cooling of solar system. Barium isotope fractionation in the same carbonaceous chondrites suggests that a strong magnetic field was present in the innermost part of the early solar system. Barium mass-dependent isotope fractionation has also been detected throughout Earth surface materials. While igneous rocks show limited Ba isotopic variations, relatively large isotopic variations are observed amongst and within soils, rivers, and biological materials. Indeed, plants seem to fractionate Ba isotopes during Ba uptake from soil ***, Ba isotope signatures have the potential to provide clues on the biological cycling of Ba at the Earth surface. In seawater, Ba isotopic variations have been mapped out, and are mainly related to barite precipitation, which is in turn related to organic matter remineralization in the water *** makes Ba isotopes a potentially powerful tool to reconstruct past ocean productivity, although constraints are still lacking regarding the inputs of dissolved Ba to the oceans by rivers or hydrothermalism.

BACKGROUND： Hepatocellular carcinoma（HCC） recurrence remains a key issue after liver transplantation. This study aimed to determine a subgroup of HCC patients within the Milan criteria who could achieve a theoretical goal of zero recurrence rates after liver ***： Between 1999 and 2009, 179 patients who received liver transplantation for HCC within the Milan criteria were retrospectively included. Analysis of the factors associated with HCC recurrence was performed to determine the subgroup of patients at the lowest risk of ***： Seventy-two percent of the patients received a bridging therapy, including 54 liver resections. Eleven（6.1%） patients recurred within a delay of 19±22 months and ultimately died. Factors associated with recurrence were serum alpha-fetoprotein level 〉400 ng/m L, satellite nodules, poor differentiation, microvascular invasion and cholangiocarcinoma component. Recurrence rates decreased from 6.1% to 3.1% in patients without any of these ***： Among HCC patients within the Milan criteria, selecting patients with factors based on histology would allow tending towards zero recurrence, and prior histological assessment by liver biopsy or resection may be essential to rule out poorly differentiated tumors, microvascular invasion,and cholangiocarcinoma component.

The quantitative relationship between relative electrophoretic mobility in capillary electrophoresis for a series of 31 closely related alkylpyridines and their molecular structures was studied by using CODESSA. According to the t test on the results, we found that the three most important descriptors affecting the mobility are the relative number of rings ( NR ), Min e n attraction for a C—N bond ( MEN ) and average complementary information index (ACIC) . With these structure descriptors a good three parameter linear model was developed to correlate the mobility of these compounds with their structures. This model can not only correctly predict the migration behavior of these compounds, but also find the structural factors which are responsible for the migration behavior of these compounds, thus can help to explain the separation mechanism of these compounds. The method used in this work can also be extended to the mobility structure relationship research of other compounds.

Managing familial pancreatic cancer(FPC)is challenging for gastroenterologists,surgeons and ***-risk individuals(HRI)for pancreatic cancer(PC)(FPC or with germline mutations)are a heterogeneous group of subjects with a theoretical lifetime cumulative risk of PC over 5%.Screening is mainly based on annual magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and endoscopic ultrasound(EUS).The goal of screening is to identify early-stage operable cancers or high-risk precancerous lesions(pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia or intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms with high-grade dysplasia).In the literature,target lesions are identified in 2%-5%of HRI who undergo *** appears to provide better identification of small solid lesions(0%-46%of HRI)and chronicpancreatitis-like parenchymal changes(14%-77%of HRI),while MRI is probably the best modality to identify small cystic lesions(13%-49%of HRI).There are no specific studies in HRI on the use of contrast-enhanced harmonic *** can also be used to obtain tissue ***,there is still limited evidence on the accuracy of imaging procedures used for screening or agreement on which patients to *** cost-effectiveness of screening is also *** new EUS-related techniques,such as searching for DNA abnormalities or protein markers in pancreatic fluid,appear to be promising.
