Home and its meanings and significance have received extensive examination within the disciplines of anthropology,psychology,sociology,philosophy,human geogra-phy,and ***,which contains various references to houses,countries,and states,can no longer be considered a homogenized experience for migrants,as it takes shapes as a result of interaction between the past and present,the local and global,and the diaspora and country of *** on diaspora studies and its theorizations of home,this article examines the heterogeneous and pluralistic nego-tiations of home in Susan Muaddi Darraj's The Inheritance of Exile and Angela Tehaan Leon's Swimming Toward the Light,and argues that the conventional under-standing of home as a fixed location tied solely to one's country of origin is *** first generation of Arab migrant women,as depicted in the novels,finds a sense of belonging in the familiar spaces and customs of their native countries,hence viewing them as their true *** contrast,the second generation views home in a more multifaceted *** see it not only as a physical space but also as a source of spiritual *** analysis confirms that home can no longer be said to apply simply to a geographic place,site,or even to a certain culture or set of practices as it is interpreted differently and incarnated in multitudinous *** diversified meanings of home render it pliable and confirm its controversial and debatable nature,especially for subjects in transit.

In this paper, the focus is on the boundary stability of a nanolayer in diffusion-reaction systems, taking into account a nonlinear boundary control condition. The authors focus on demonstrating the boundary stability of a nanolayer using the Lyapunov function approach, while making certain regularity assumptions and imposing appropriate control conditions. In addition, the stability analysis is extended to more complex systems by studying the limit problem with interface conditions using the epi-convergence approach. The results obtained in this article are then tested numerically to validate the theoretical conclusions.

Electricity production from photovoltaic(PV)panels is maximized when the operating point is located at the maximum power point thanks to dedicated *** controllers are driven to track the maximum power by using various algorithms within distributed or centralized architectures accounting for factors such as partial irradiation and temperature *** effect of irradiance on the optimal panel voltage is weak or even negligible,while it is strong and quasi-linear-dependent on *** on this observation,this article introduces a straightforward method for tracking the maximum power of a PV panel by using an optimizer,focusing solely on its temperature response as an input *** proposed approach hinges on linearizing the relationship between panel temperature and operating *** relationship enables the estimation of the maximum power point through temperature measurement ***,after determination of the linear temperature coefficient of the voltage requiring only the knowledge of two optimal voltages at different temperatures,for example from the datasheet of the panel,the power tracking involves only one temperature sensor placed on the panel alongside a voltage sensor for *** principle,modelling,and validation post-panel ageing of the method are detailed in this ***,conducted using real experimental irradiation and temperature data,attests to the effectiveness of the *** indicate an average effectiveness of the method of>99.1%in tracking the maximum power,with the panel generating 2.33 kWh out of a possible 2.35 *** performance is comparable to that of tracking devices employing more complex *** simplicity and efficiency of the method make it a promising option for maximizing the power production at low cost from PV systems in small or residential,on-or off-grid connected applications.

As the scale of federated learning expands,solving the Non-IID data problem of federated learning has become a key challenge of *** existing solutions generally aim to solve the overall performance improvement of all clients;however,the overall performance improvement often sacrifices the performance of certain clients,such as clients with less *** fairness may greatly reduce the willingness of some clients to participate in federated *** order to solve the above problem,the authors propose Ada-FFL,an adaptive fairness federated aggregation learning algorithm,which can dynamically adjust the fairness coefficient according to the update of the local models,ensuring the convergence performance of the global model and the fairness between federated learning *** integrating coarse-grained and fine-grained equity solutions,the authors evaluate the deviation of local models by considering both global equity and individual equity,then the weight ratio will be dynamically allocated for each client based on the evaluated deviation value,which can ensure that the update differences of local models are fully considered in each round of ***,by combining a regularisation term to limit the local model update to be closer to the global model,the sensitivity of the model to input perturbations can be reduced,and the generalisation ability of the global model can be *** numerous experiments on several federal data sets,the authors show that our method has more advantages in convergence effect and fairness than the existing baselines.

In many applications involving data streams, the sequences of data arise from highly dynamic and often unstable real-life processes, rendering untenable the standard assumption that current and future data come from the same distribution. In response, new methodologies, such as dynamic online learning, have been proposed in order to account for the nonstationary features in the data-generating process. Motivated by the stability and statistical efficiency of the notable stochastic approximation method, average stochastic gradient descent(ASGD) in time-invariant systems, the authors propose an exponentially weighted moving average(EWMA)-based stochastic gradient descent(SGD) which accommodates the dynamic structure by introducing a forgetting factor and replacing the simple averaging step in ASGD with an EWMA step. Provided that the dynamic drift is Lipschitz continuous, the mean squared tracking error rate of the proposed method achieves the optimal rate in the nonparametric statistical paradigm. The proposed framework also allows us to derive the dynamic regret bound and asymptotic normality with a path variation constraint in a natural manner. Numerical analysis has been conducted to verify the performance of the proposed method. In particular, the proposed method is much more robust to the selection of learning rates compared with the ordinary SGD method.

Textile dyes are dramatic sources of pollution and non-aesthetic disturbance of aquatic life and therefore represent a potential risk of bioaccumulation that can affect living *** is imperative to reduce or eliminate these dyes from liquid effluents with innovative biomaterials and ***,this research aims to highlight the performance of Capparis spinosa L waste-activated carbon(CSLW-AC)adsorbent to remove crystal violet(CV)from an aqueous *** mechanism of CV adsorption on CSLW-AC was evaluated based on the coupling of experimental data and different characterization *** efficiency of the CSLW-AC material reflected by the equilibrium adsorption capacity of CV could reach more than 195.671 mg·g^(–1) when 0.5 g·L^(–1) of CSLW-AC(Particle size≤250μm)is introduced into the CV of initial concentration of 100 mg·L^(–1) at pH 6 and temperature 65℃ and in the presence of potassium ions after 60 min of contact time according to the one parameter at a time *** adsorption behavior of CV on CSLW-AC was found to be consistent with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Frumkin's linear isothermal *** thermodynamic aspects indicate that the process is physical,spontaneous,and *** optimization of the process by the Box Behnken design of experiments resulted in an adsorption capacity approaching 183.544 mg·g^(–1)([CV]=100 mg·L^(–1) and[CSLW-AC]=0.5 g·L^(–1) at 35 min).The results of the Lactuca sativa seeds germination in treated CV(70%),adsorbent solvent and thermal regeneration(more than 5 cycles),and process cost analysis(1.0484 USD·L^(–1))tests are encouraging and promising for future exploitations of the CSLW-AC material in different industrial fields.

Haptic is the modality that complements traditional multimedia,i.e.,audiovisual,to evolve the next wave of innovation at which the Internet data stream can be exchanged to enable remote skills and control *** will require ultra-low latency and ultra-high reliability to evolve the mobile experience into the era of Digital Twin and Tactile *** the 5th generation of mobile networks is not yet widely deployed,Long-Term Evolution(LTE-A)latency remains much higher than the 1 ms requirement for the Tactile Internet and therefore the Digital *** work investigates an interesting solution based on the incorporation of Software-defined networking(SDN)and Multi-access Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)technologies in an LTE-A network,to deliver future multimedia applications over the Tactile Internet while overcoming the QoS *** network scenarios were designed and simulated using Riverbed modeler and the performance was evaluated using several time-related Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)such as throughput,End-2-End(E2E)delay,and *** best scenario possible is clearly the one integrating MEC and SDN approaches,where the overall delay,jitter,and throughput for haptics-attained 2 ms,0.01 ms,and 1000 packets per *** results obtained give clear evidence that the integration of,both SDN and MEC,in LTE-A indicates performance improvement,and fulfills the standard requirements in terms of the above KPIs,for realizing a Digital Twin/Tactile Internet-based system.

In this paper,we analyzed the physical characteristics of the ternary alloys RE_(2)Rh_(3)Ge(RE=Pr and Sm)using the first principles calculation based on functional density theory integrated in the Wien2k *** calculated formation energies of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are−5.3827 and−5.2782 eV/atom,respectively,showing that these alloys may exist *** results of the band structure and density of states indicate that all of the compounds tested are magnetic metals,and their magnetism is mostly related to the contribution of Pr and Sm *** total magnetic moments of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are 4.07245 and 11.16161μB/f.u,*** parameters such as heat capacity at constant pressure,entropy,Debye temperature,lattice volume,compressibility coefficients,and Grüneisen parameter alloys were calculated using the Gibbs algorithm and studied in depth over a large temperature range of 0-900 *** Debye temperature increases with increasing pressure and decreases with decreasing ***,the Debye temperatures calculated at p=0 GPa and T=300 K are equal to be 342 and 322 K for Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge,*** optical characteristics such as the real and imaginary portions of the dielectric function,the absorption coefficient,the energy-loss function,and the refractive index were investigated and discussed in more depth.
