The steady increase of lgE-dependent allergic diseases after the Second World War is a unique phenomenon in the history of humankind. Numerous cross-sectional studies, comprehensive longitudinal cohort studies of children living in various types of environment, and mechanistic experimental studies have pointed to the disappearance of ＂protective factors＂ related to major changes in lifestyle and environment. A common unifying concept is that of the immunoregulatory role of the gut microbiota. This review focuses on the protection against allergic disorders that is provided by the farming environment and by exposure to microbial diversity. It also questions whether and how microbial bioengineering will be able in the future to restore an interplay that was beneficial to the proper immunological development of children in the past and that was irreversibly disrupted by changes in lifestyle. The protective ＂farming environment＂ includes independent and additional influences： contact with animals, stay in barns/stables, and consumption of unprocessed milk and milk products, by mothers during pregnancy and by children in early life. More than the overall quanti- ty of microbes, the biodiversity of the farm microbial environment appears to be crucial for this protection, as does the biodiversity of the gut microbiota that it may provide. Use of conventional probiotics, especially various species or strains of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, has not fulfilled the expectations of allergists and pediatricians to prevent allergy. Among the specific organisms present in cowsheds that could be used for prevention, Acinetobacter （A.） lwoffii F78, Lactococcus （ L.） lactis G121, and Staphylococcus （S.） sciuri W620 seem to be the most promising, based on experimental studies in mouse models of allergic respiratory diseases. Acoustic wave resonators are promising candidates for gravimetric ***,they generally suffer from strong acoustic radiation in liquid,which limits their quality factor and increases their frequency *** article presents an acoustic radiation-free gravimetric biosensor based on a locally resonant surface phononic crystal(SPC)consisting of periodic high aspect ratio electrodes to address the above *** acoustic wave generated in the SPC is slower than the sound wave in water,hence it prevents acoustic propagation in the fluid and results in energy confinement near the electrode *** energy confinement results in a significant quality factor improvement and reduces frequency *** proposed SPC resonator is numerically studied by finite element analysis and experimentally implemented by an electroplating-based fabrication *** results show that the SPC resonator exhibits an in-liquid quality factor 15 times higher than a conventional Rayleigh wave resonator at a similar operating *** proposed radiation suppression method using SPC can also be applied in other types of acoustic wave ***,this method can serve as a general technique for boosting the in-liquid quality factor and sensing performance of many acoustic biosensors.

Evaluating and selecting players to suit football clubs and decision-makers (coaches, managers, technical, and medical staff) is a difficult process from a managerial-financial and sporting perspective. Football is a highly competitive sport where sponsors and fans are attracted by success. The most successful players, based on their characteristics (criteria and sub-criteria), can influence the outcome of a football game at any given time. Consequently, the D-day of selection should employ a more appropriate approach to human resource management. To effectively address this issue, a detailed study and analysis of the available literature are needed to assist practitioners and professionals in making decisions about football player selection and hiring. Peer-reviewed journals were selected for collecting published papers between 2018 and 2023. A total of 66 relevant articles (journal articles, conference articles, book sections, and review articles) were selected for evaluation and analysis. The purpose of the study is to present a systematic literature review (SLR) on how to solve this problem and organize the published research papers that answer our four research questions.

In the simulation of the metal injection moulding (MIM), the behaviours of feedstock are much di?erent from which of the polymer injection. It is a mixture of the metallic powder in high concentration and some plastic binder. The advance in simulation of the mould ?lling with such high viscous feedstock is featured by the development of a fully explicit vectorial algorithm. On the basis of previous explicit software realized by the authors, the new algorithm avoids the global solution for pressure ?elds and the use of MINI elements to improve its e?ciency. Except for the operations at element level, neither global solution nor the construction of global matrix is required in simulation. A special strategy is used to regulate the incompressibility condition in ?lled domain at each time step. In case of the MIM problems, this method provides a fast way to simulate the ?lling processes. The computational cost is about linearly proportional to the degree of freedom number. Moreover, this vectorial algorithm can be easily parallelized for high performance computation with multi-clusters. The comparison of numerical results with previous simulations on 3D cases proves the validity and e?ciency of new algorithm.

A deep semantic segmentation-based algorithm to segment crops and weeds in agronomic color images

In precision agriculture,the accurate segmentation of crops and weeds in agronomic images has always been the center of *** methods have been proposed but still the clean and sharp segmentation of crops and weeds is a challenging issue for the images with a high presence of *** work proposes a segmentation method based on the combination of semantic segmentation and K-means algorithms for the segmenta-tion of crops and weeds in color *** images of two different databases were used for the segmentation *** the thresholding technique,everything except plants was removed from the ***,semantic segmentation was applied using U-net followed by the segmentation of crops and weeds using the K-means subtractive *** comparison of segmentation performance was made for the proposed method and K-Means clustering and superpixels *** proposed algorithm pro-vided more accurate segmentation in comparison to other methods with the maximum accuracy of equivalent to 99.19%.Based on the confusion matrix,the true-positive and true-negative values were 0.9952 and 0.8985 representing the true classification rate of crops and weeds,*** results indicated that the proposed method successfully provided accurate and convincing results for the segmentation of crops and weeds in the images with a complex presence of weeds.

This paper mainly studies the comparison of the global vehicle models and the effects of the inertial parameters due to the center of gravity(CG)positions when we consider that the vehicle has only one *** paper proposes a new nonlinear model vehicle model which considers both unsprung mass and sprung mass *** CG positions and inertial parameters effects are analyzed in terms of the published vehicle dynamics *** this end,two 14 degree-of-freedom(DOF)vehicle models are developed and compared to investigate the vehicle dynamics responses due to the different CG height and inertial parameters *** proposed models describe simultaneously the vehicle motion in longitudinal,lateral and vertical directions as well as roll,pitch and yaw of the vehicle about corresponding *** passive and active moments and the forces acting on the vehicle are also described and they are considered as a direct consequence of acceleration,braking and steering *** proposed model M1 takes both the CG of sprung mass,unsprung mass and total vehicle mass into *** second model M2 assumes that the vehicle is one solid body which has a single CG as reported in majority of *** two vehicle models are compared and analyzed to evaluate vehicle ride and handling dynamic responses under braking/acceleration and cornering *** results show that the proposed model M1 could offer analytically some abilities and driving performances,as well as improved roll and pitch in a very flexible manner compared to the second model M2.

Climate change influences more and more of our activities. These changes led to envi- ronmental changes which has in turn affected the spatial and temporal distribution of the incidence of vector-borne diseases. To establish the impact of climate on contact rate of vector-borne diseases, we examine the variation of prevalence of diseases according to season. In this paper, the goal is to establish that the basic reproductive number R0 depends on the duration of transmission period and the date of the first conta- mination case that was declared （to） in the specific ease of malaria. We described the dynamics of transmission of malaria by using non-autonomous differential equations. We analyzed the stability of endemic equilibrium （EE） and disease-free equilibrium （DFE）. We prove that the persistence of disease depends on minimum and maximum values of contact rate of vector-borne diseases.
