The aim of this research project is to assess indirect water consumption,that represents the water consumed in the upstream part of the production life *** are provided for agriculture related companies,as agriculture represents 70%of water consumption on *** consumption varies greatly according to the countries where supply chain is *** estimation is attempted for 27 European listed companies in sectors relying on agriculture in its supply chain.A data is estimated for 22 companies,showing that indirect water consumption is much more important than direct *** questions raised through the estimation of indirect water consumption in various subsectors show the interest in this data,which represents the equivalent of Carbon Scope 3 for water issues.

We suggest that during severe acute pancreatitis(SAP)with intra-abdominal hypertension,practitioners should consider decompressive laparotomy,even with intra-abdominal pressure(IAP)below 25 ***,in this setting,non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia(NOMI)may occur even with IAP below this cutoff and lead to transmural necrosis if abdominal perfusion pressure is not promptly *** report our experience of 18 critically ill patients with SAP having undergone decompressive laparotomy of which one third had NOMI while IAP was mostly below 25 mmHg.

Data-driven modelling has shown promising potential in many industrial applications, while the expensive and time-consuming labelling of experimental and simulation data restricts its further *** a more informative but smaller dataset to reduce labelling efforts has been a vital research problem. Although existing techniques can assess the value of individual data samples, how to represent the value of a sample set remains an open problem. In this research, the aggregation value is defined using a novel representation for the value of a sample set by modelling the invisible redundant information as the overlaps of neighbouring values. The sampling problem is hence converted to the maximisation of the submodular function over the aggregation value. The comprehensive analysis of several manufacturing datasets demonstrates that the proposed method can provide sample sets with superior and stable performance compared with state-of-the-art methods. The research outcome also indicates its appealing potential to reduce labelling efforts for more data-scarcity scenarios.

One of the most intriguing questions in eusocial insects is to understand how the overt reproductive conflict in the colony appears limited when queens or kings are senescent or lost because the morphologically similar individuals in the colony are reproductively *** there are some individuals who preferentially differentiate into replacement reproductives or not has received little *** consistent individual behavioral differences(also termed“animal personality”)of individuals from the colony can shape cunningly their task and consequently affect the colony fitness but have been rarely investigated in eusocial ***,we used the termite Reticulitermes labralis to investigate if variations in individual personalities(elusiveness and aggressiveness)may predict which individuals will perform reproductive differentiation within *** observed that when we separately reared elusive and aggressive workers,elusive workers differentiate into reproductives significantly earlier than aggressive *** we reared them together in the proportions 12:3,10:5,and 8:7(aggressive workers:elusive workers),the first reproductives mostly differentiated from the elusive workers,and the reproductives differentiated from the elusive workers significantly earlier than from aggressive ***,we found that the number of workers participating in reproductive differentiation was significantly lower in the groups of both types of workers than in groups containing only elusive *** results demonstrate that the elusiveness trait was a strong predictor of workers’differentiation into replacement reproductives in ***,our results suggest that individual personalities within the insect society could play a key role in resolving the overt reproductive conflict.

This paper aims to present a new well-balanced,accurate and fast finite volume scheme on unstructured grids to solve hyperbolic conservation *** is a scheme that combines both finite volume approach and characteristic *** this study,we consider a shallow water system with Coriolis effect and bottom friction stresses where this new Finite Volume Characteristics(FVC)scheme has been *** physical and mathematical properties of the system,including the C-property,have been well ***,we developed this approach by preserving the advantages of the finite volume discretization such as conservation property and the method of characteristics,in order to avoid Riemann solvers and to enhance the accuracy without any complexity of the MUSCL ***,a discretization was applied to the bottom source term that leads to a well-balanced scheme satisfying the steady-state condition of still water.A semi-implicit treatment will also be presented in this study to avoid stability problems due to source ***,the proposed finite volume method is verified on several benchmark tests and shows good agreement with analytical solutions and experimental results;moreover,it gives a noteworthy accuracy and rapidity improvement compared to the original approaches.
