In this study,we introduce a novel bioinformatics program,Spore-associated Symbiotic Microbes Position-specific Function(SeSaMe PS Function),for position-specific functional analysis of short sequences derived from metagenome sequencing data of the arbuscular mycorrhizal *** unique advantage of the program lies in databases created based on genus-specific sequence properties derived from protein secondary structure,namely amino acid usages,codon usages,and codon contexts of 3-codon DNA *** PS Function searches a query sequence against reference sequence database,identifies 3-codon DNA 9-mers with structural roles,and creates a comparative dataset containing the codon usage biases of the 3-codon DNA 9-mers from 54 bacterial and fungal *** program applies correlation principal component analysis in conjunction with K-means clustering method to the comparative dataset.3-codon DNA 9-mers clustered as a sole member or with only a few members are often structurally and functionally distinctive sites that provide useful insights into important molecular *** program provides a versatile means for studying functions of short sequences from metagenome sequencing and has a wide spectrum of *** PS Function is freely accessible at ***.

Subacute Chorea Induced by Organic Solvents

Introduction: Chronic exposure to organic solvents may result in a variety of neurologic complications like dementia, cerebellar dysfunction, pyramidal syndrome, cranial nerve abnormalities, and neuropathy. Clinical Presentation: We report an unusual case of subacute chorea induced by occupational exposure. Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed diffuse white matter T2 hyperintensity. The screening of basic blood tests, and CSF studies to eliminate alternate diagnoses, were normal. The patient received 1000 mg/day of intravenous methylprednisolone for 3 days, with cessation of professional activity. We observed a regression of neurological symptoms after 3 months of follow-up. Conclusion: This case highlights the diversity of acute or chronic neurological complications of solvents.

We give an existence result of a renormalized solution for a class of nonlin- ear parabolic equations b（x,u）/ t-div （a（x,t,u, u））＋g（x,t,u,u ）＋H（x,t, u）=f,in QT, where the right side belongs to LP＇（0,T;W-1,p＇（Ω）） and where b（x,u） is unbounded function of u and where - div （ a （ x, t, u, u）） is a Leray-Lions type operator with growth ｜u ｜p- 1 in V u. The critical growth condition on g is with respect to u and no growth condition with re sp ect to u, while the function H （x, t, u） grows as｜ u ｜p - 1.

A Mild and Efficient Method for the Synthesis of Acylals from Aromatic Aldehydes and Their Deprotections Catalyzed by Synthetic Phosphates under Solvent-Free Conditions

An efficient and clean preparation of acylals from aromatic aldehydes in the presence of synthetic phosphates (flourapatite and hydroxyapatite doped with ZnCl2 and ZnBr2) and acetic anhydride was achieved easily in high yields (86% - 97%) at room temperature under solvent-free conditions. Deprotection of the resulting acylals has also been attained by using the same catalysts under microwave irradiation. This method consistently has advantage of excellent yields (82% - 96%) and a short reaction time (3 - 4 min).

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)are plant root symbionts that play key roles in plant growth and soil *** are obligate biotrophic fungi that form coenocytic multinucleated hyphae and *** studies have shown that diverse microorganisms live on the surface of and inside their mycelia,resulting in a metagenome when whole-genome sequencing(WGS)data are obtained from sequencing AMF cultivated in *** metagenome contains not only the AMF sequences,but also those from associated *** this study,we introduce a novel bioinformatics program,Spore-associated Symbiotic Microbes(SeSaMe),designed for taxonomic classification of short sequences obtained by next-generation DNA sequencing.A genus-specific usage bias database was created based on amino acid usage and codon usage of a three consecutive codon DNA 9-mer encoding an amino acid trimer in a protein secondary *** program distinguishes between coding sequence(CDS)and non-CDS,and classifies a query sequence into a genus group out of 54 genera used as *** mean percentages of correct predictions of the CDS and the non-CDS test sets at the genus level were 71% and 50% for bacteria,68% and 73% for fungi(excluding AMF),and 49% and 72% for AMF(Rhizophagus irregularis),*** provides not only a means for estimating taxonomic diversity and abundance but also the gene reservoir of the reference taxonomic groups associated with ***,it enables users to study the symbiotic roles of associated *** can also be applicable to other microorganisms as well as soil *** is freely available at ***.

Non-Perturbative Treatment of Quantum Mathieu Oscillator

We study the evolution in time of the quantum Mathieu oscillator (QMO), according to the motion of a charged particle in a radio frequency Paul trap. We adopt non-perturbative treatment based on the quantized Floquet formalism together with the resonating averages method (RAM). We prove that we can develop solutions of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation of such a system, in terms of the simple harmonic oscillator wave functions. Numerical simulations of the analytical results are performed to show the coherence and the squeezed proprieties of the wave-packet of this system.

A versatile and environmentally friendly method for α,α’-bis(substituted ben-zylidene) cycloalkanones has been developed using a heterogeneous catalysis technology. We have synthesized a series of the α,α’-bis(substituted benzylidene) cycloalkanones, a biologically important class of compounds, via the cross aldol condensation between arylaldehydes and cycloketones using sodium-modified fluorapatite (Na/FAP) as a highly efficient solid catalyst under conventional heating in aqueous media and solventless conditions under microwave. Catalyst reuse, ease of separation of the pure product, and high yields are some of the unique features of this process. Shorter reaction times (4 - 7 min) and higher yields (80% - 94%) were achieved under microwave irradiation conditions.

Severe Anaemia during Natalizumab Treatment: Case Presentation with Literature Review

Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy is the most common serious complication related to natalizumab. However, serious haematological complications are very uncommon during treatment with natalizumab. Here we reported the case of an 18-year-old man with a 4-year history of relapsing-re- mitting multiple sclerosis. He was treated firstly by Teriflunomide for 1 year, but he presented relapses and his MRI shows new contrast-enhancing lesions. Therefore, we decided to switch from Teriflunomide to Natalizumab. The patient presented with profound anaemia after the 16th infusions treatment with Natalizumab. The patient’s hemoglobin was 3.2 g/dL with a lower blood reticulocyte value. After red cell transfusions and cessation of Natalizumab, anaemia resolved. Natalizumab was changed by an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody. The patient had a stable course of multiple sclerosis at 13 months after initiation of Rituximab. We should alert clinicians to be aware of the possibility of anaemia during treatment by Natalizumab.

In this article, the classic dynamic of Paul trap problem is investigated. We give a complete description of the topological structure of Hamiltonian flows on the real phase space. Using the surgery’s theory of Fomenko Liouville tori, all generic bifurcations of the common level sets of the first integrals were described theoretically. We give also an explicit periodic solution for singular values of the first integrals. Numerical investigations are carried out for all generic bifurcations and we observe order-chaos transition when the critical value of a control parameter is varied.

In this paper, the integrable classical case of the Hydrogen atom subjected to three static external fields is investigated. The structuring and evolution of the real phase space are explored. The bifurcation diagram is found and the bifurcations of solutions are discussed. The periodic solutions and their associated periods for singular common-level sets of the first integrals of motion are explicitly described. Numerical investigations are performed for the integrable case by means of Poincaré surfaces of section and comparing them with nearby living nonintegrable solutions, all generic bifurcations that change the structure of the phase space are illustrated;the problem can exhibit regularity-chaos transition over a range of control parameters of system.
